Scandinavian agreements is that if you spend over 299 DKK you get a two year warranty. I think the amount will be different in Sweden and Norway because of exchange rates. However this product will be over the 1000 DKK.
Interesting - on any site? That's a really nice perk, and (as someone who used to spend lots of time travelling/working in Scandi countries) - is very typical of classic Scandinavian common sense. 🙂
Great product but £150 for a charger is just insane, I was looking for a charger so I can do my phone and Apple Watch at the same time but this costs half the price of the watch itself. I know they probably have to pay some kind of license to use MagSafe or something (maybe, only reason I can think of for the huge price?) but spending half the price of a product, to charge the product is crazy.
I think that's what it is - it's the price of calling it an official MagSafe device. If you like the concept I can recommend Benks' omni stand: shrsl.com/4de3s and also their 3-in-1 Juicepod stand which both do the same thing for half the price of this one. shrsl.com/4de3v
I felt a little mislead as an Android user. This entire device is laid out for Apple's eco-system. Love how it looks and the intended functionality, just wish it were for Androids (,too).
Ah, sorry for any unintended misleading my friend. If you like it enough, I do know you can buy specialised cases for Android phones to enable them to play nice with MagSafe chargers… but unless you have an Apple Watch that part would be totally redundant. 😕
Hi Fernando. Yes it works with my wife’s Series 2 so it’ll be fine with S3. You won’t have fast charging though as that only applies from S7 and higher.
probably a stupid question but do you think this would work with the pixel devices? ive got a phone, watch and pods and i am looking for a 3 in 1 for them. obviously the magnets wouldnt work for the phone but would it atleast charge them wirelessly?
Not a stupid question at all! Short answer- no it wouldn’t work. MagSafe is Apple’s protocol and doesn’t play nice with other systems. You can however buy special cases that allow Samsung/Google devices to utilise MagSafe without causing any battery damage. The pixel buds will charge just fine round back as that’s just a standard Qi charger. But the pixel watch is a no go I’m afraid. Hopefully Anker will bring out something for non-Apple devices as this seems to have been an incredibly popular release for them.
There is a LOT of mixed information about this online (from supposed experts) - so I would encourage you to check out a few sources. The vast majority of the research I have done would indicate that wireless charging (specifically MagSafe) does not degrade the battery over time any more than any other charging method for iPhones. This is because (like so many Apple protocols) - being proprietary software/hardware it is intelligent enough to not continue to heat/charge the battery once it has reached the correct level. The ideal solution would be to have some settings in the phone that allowed you to specify what level you'd like the charger to charge your device up to, but we're not there yet!
Well, kind of. It won’t charge a laptop or anything….and technically Samsung/Google phones will work fine in terms of wireless charging. The little airpods charger round the back is just normal Qi standard so would charge any other set of buds with a wireless charging case. I tried it with a Jabra pair and it worked fine.
@@ThatMarkGilroy right, but the top with the MagSafe charger that tilts up will only charge an iPhone while tilted, everything else will slide off. I like the concept, but it really only charges three devices at once if they'll Apple.

I am a fellow TH-camr with my own channel and especially I am a Apple fan. I really liked your video. Unfortunately in Italy they do not sell the cube that I prefer rather than the 2 in 1 from Anker. And Amazon is often the only service we may trust here.. the couriers are really untrustworthy.
I liked a lot even the EDC video.. I also use keyboards out of the MacBook ones eheh! Same reasons of yours of course 😊

@@ThatMarkGilroy You can buy it in Apple Store
Why lift top for airpod charger? Why not just put it on the top coil
Yes you can do that too. The new Airpod Pros are magsafe compatible. The charger under the top/lid is in case you are charging all three devices at once.
Great review and production quality! I really enjoy the layout of your videos and the flow. Thanks google algorithm for suggesting this channel!
Ah, thanks for taking the time to comment - glad you’re enjoying them!
Dose this work with
iPhone 15 models?
Yes, I use mine with iPhone 15 Pro Max 👍🏻
Just bought this January 11 2024 from Apple shop uk the issue I had encountered was when I first placed my watch on first then my Apple phone with a quad lock case in that order and charged it over night my watch was fully charged but my phone was 84% charged in the morning not sure if this is a faulty one I have because when I place my phone on first then my watch they then both charge to 100%
What model phone and watch are you using? Not sure about quad lock cases on MagSafe chargers either…
@@ThatMarkGilroy iPhone 14 Pro Max and ultra 2 watch both when put on cube show green charging ring which is puzzling as if it wasn’t secure enough to magnet then I wouldn’t get green charging rings
@@tomneal72 That is definitely weird. On Anker’s website it doesn’t list compatibility with the ultra 2 but I can’t see why it would draw more power than the ultra 1 (which is listed in the compatibility list).
I have multiple questions but I’m going to keep try to keep it simple and short will I be able to power this cube it via type c to type A usb I have a type c to type A I use for a few gaming headsets or will I need to use a brick because the only times I use a brick is when I have company over and they need a brick I charge my devices via usb to lighting still I have a outlet with a usb I want to retire all my cables and keep one for my iPad or when I travel and just keep this cube on my nightstand because the cables are getting expensive
Hey buddy. Yep, you don't need a brick to power it, but if you're expecting fast wireless charging, obviously your input and cable will need enough power to carry it. If your adapter is capable of charging your gaming headset then you should be fine - just check the wattage.
@@ThatMarkGilroy thanks for the advice much appreciate it
All my devices?
Yeah... as long as I use Apple... I'm no sheep.
You can use it to charge any wireless devices.
What camera setup are you using?
My full kit is listed over at kit.co/thatmarkgilroy/camera-vlogging-setup-2022
Just received mines and I’m disappointed it didn’t come with the Uk/Europe adapters just a plain U.S. plug. I travel a lot to both countries and would’ve loved for them to be included especially after paying so much
That’s odd John. Where did you get it from in the end- Anker direct?
@@ThatMarkGilroy it totally is. I looked at other vids on here and some didn’t have it either. Mines was ordered through Apple directly. Maybe it matters what market you’re in 🤷🏿♂️ should’ve at least dropped the price since it’s not included.

Does the iPhone and charger heat up excessively when in use ?
Not that I’ve noticed Douglas. I very rarely tend to have all three devices on which I imagine would produce some heat. Typically I wear my watch for sleep tracking so I have my phone (sometimes AirPods) on all night and then put my watch on for a quick boost when I wake up.
It looks like this is strictly for the Apple products; right?
Yes it is exclusively for Apple products I'm afraid.
If you are charging all at the same time, does it fast charge everything?
Everything except airpods - they just charge at a normal wireless speed.
Ugh. Even though there’s an anker online store in Malaysia, this isn’t available.
Sorry to hear that Marcus. Fingers crossed some show up soon.
Excellence as always from Anchor…..but a bit pricey
They’re running a 10% discount at the moment- code and link in the description.
Does this work with samsung watch? I mean the magnet charging slot forwatch
Sorry buddy, Apple Watch only.
@@ThatMarkGilroy thank you for replying, appreciate it!
At $150 I just don't see it being worthy of consideration. Unless they cut the price to $50 then I doubt many of these will be under the Christmas Tree. Other than a cube look it offers nothing more than the $30 options out there.
I hear you. But I’ve seen the $30 options out there and most look absolutely awful.
I’d definitely pay $75 easily for this, but $150 is too much.
@@cole4648 I'm guessing a big chunk of this goes to Apple to be able to put the 'made for Apple/MagSafe' branding everywhere.
Do most $30 charging solutions charge all three idevices at once? While maintaining fast charging for the phone?
I think a lot of company’s have gotten totally carried away with there prices. Anker is no exception. Just a couple years ago this same charger would haven been affordable. This things tiny also more like a travel charger.
Hi, my AirPods Pro 2nd gen won’t charge on the backside wireless charger but they charge on the main where we charge iPhone. I think it’s flaw with mine. Can you please check it with your?
Yep, sounds like a flaw with your model- I have all three charging at once most nights.
I wouldn’t go right away and say that this is the best travel charging solution. I mean magsafe is slow, it can claim to be the best bedside charger. But cant consider this for traveling when you need to be up and about any minute so you need to be fast.
It’s definitely the best bedside charger. The best travel charger I’ve used is probably this one th-cam.com/video/LZdWZGAdqnI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4Ksmc5CKZnURKg4F
very cool, I just got it a week ago ,but I have a question what if I used a 65 watt adapter would it make any difference ? knowing that the adapter is anker as well .
Make any difference to the…?
@@ThatMarkGilroy charging speed ? or outcome ?
@@kamalwanis7827 ah, no it won’t make any difference to speed. The charging cube and devices will take up to what they can handle and leave the rest.
The only thing im unsjre of is the watch portion fitting a galaxy watch since Im samsung but i know the wattage for the charging is fine for my phone.
Hi! It’ll only fit an Apple Watch I’m afraid as it’s a proprietary charger. Probably why it costs so much!

No problems Kevin!
The perfect charger...? Well, Anker is pretty great, but I don't feel they are perfect. That being said, yes, I hope this goes on sale over the next four days :)
It's definitely back in stock over on the Anker website!
Does it get hot when charging?
Nope. Almost all my other non Apple MagSafe chargers get hot, but not this one.
@@ThatMarkGilroy wow, even when charging iPhone and watch and AirPods together?
Yep. No issues with overheating with/without a case.
@@ThatMarkGilroy wow, that's amazing, thanks.
Thanks!
You’re welcome Omri!
Does the cube get charged or do u have to plug it in everytime u charge something?
Yep, it needs plugging in each time. It’s not big enough to hold a battery big enough to deliver fast charging to all devices.
do you know if it works with an Apple watch series 3?
Hi Fernando. Yes it works with my wife’s Series 2 so it’ll be fine with S3. You won’t have fast charging though as that only applies from S7 and higher.
@@ThatMarkGilroy ok thanks. i’ll buy from your link. Appreciate it
And I appreciate that, Fernando. Enjoy!
probably a stupid question but do you think this would work with the pixel devices? ive got a phone, watch and pods and i am looking for a 3 in 1 for them. obviously the magnets wouldnt work for the phone but would it atleast charge them wirelessly?
Not a stupid question at all! Short answer- no it wouldn’t work. MagSafe is Apple’s protocol and doesn’t play nice with other systems. You can however buy special cases that allow Samsung/Google devices to utilise MagSafe without causing any battery damage. The pixel buds will charge just fine round back as that’s just a standard Qi charger. But the pixel watch is a no go I’m afraid. Hopefully Anker will bring out something for non-Apple devices as this seems to have been an incredibly popular release for them.

Yep Ian it’ll fit. The watch charger pulls out a lot further that you’d think!
@@ThatMarkGilroy thanks
Ain't it true that wireless charging harm battery health? I would really love using that but concern about battery health.
@@ThatMarkGilroy thanks for your answer.
That's not true at all, I've been charging my phone wirelessly for two years and the battery is still great.
It can charge all your APPLE devices only. Let's put that in the title.
@@blade-OT I promise I’m not trying to make it fit…but you can buy magnetic cases that will make an android phone MagSafe-ready.
HELLO GUY'S PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP??? DO THEY MAKE THESE FOR SAMSUNG PHONE'S-WATCHES ETC..??? 🤔
Anker do make other wireless chargers but not Samsung compatible in this cube design.
I really want it but it’s very costly!
I would have liked it around 75-70 €
It is definitely not the cheapest charger out there. But it is on a par with similar products from Nomad etc.
Mine does not fast charge my Apple Watch ultra. So slow. 40% in an hour
Is that by itself or with everything connected? The charge gets split if you also have iPhone and AirPods charging at the same time as the watch.
@@ThatMarkGilroy that was with just my ultra charging. Nothing else was charging. I’ve contacted Anker and they will possibly be sending me a replacement.
@@Oharsh0928 Yeah that doesn't sound right (as in you've probably got a faulty unit there).
@@ThatMarkGilroy that’s what I’m thinking. The rep from Anker said that it might not be capable of fast charging an ultra 2, to which I replied that it didn’t fast charge my first generation ultra even though it says it will on the box.
Well apparently Anker thinks that the cube is working properly even though it takes well over 2 hours to charge the Apple Watch from 0-80%. Definitely isn’t a fast charger so they shouldn’t put that on the box.
Kinda wish the watch charger rotates 90 degrees
Yep, that’d be a really cool feature for V2
I don’t see the point. It’s bulky for travel. And if you’re going to use it at home, there are plenty of more convenient and better designed options.
The side won’t pop out to charge my watch!!
It should be a ‘push in to pop out’ kind of mechanism - you don’t pull it. Is it stuck?

I did say it wasn’t cheap!
Still though, 150 is a bit too much imo 😮
That’s fair enough San!
How fast does it charge the I phone 14 pro max. Is it equal to a 20 watt apple block cube with lighting cable ! Thanks
It charges an iPhone 12-13-14 series at 15w via MagSafe, so not quite as fast as a cable at 20w.
