you gave us the watts for the phone and airpods module but no number for the watch, just "fast charge". Overall excellent review. you included info that others did not, especially actually placing items on the charger.
I just got the Anker Cube and have the Apple Watch Duo, I don't like that the Apple duo doesn't support fast charging, so this is nice for the cube to support. My biggest downside is the weight difference, if you only carry a backpack then the weight on your back matters for every pound added.
An accurate review. I’ve had mine about a month, and I like it. The build quality is excellent, but the watch tray is the weakest link. That said, I don’t expect to have any trouble with it. The included power adapter and USB-C cable are also high quality, and the cable is a good length. I’ve never had any issues with any Anker product, and I own a lot of them. I highly recommend this one.
@@WargodFilms It’s just that the rest of the cube is so solidly made, even the hinged tray for the phone, and the tray is a little wobbly until it clicks into the locked position. But I honestly feel it’ll hold up a very long time, as long as you use a little care.
Hi. Good review. Are you saying this fast charges Apple Watches? I have an Ultra. I have the Apple MagSafe Duo charger and that doesn’t support fast charging (even with the 20w block) and it’s hours rather than the fast 90minutes.
That is correct. The Anker cube does fast charge the Apple Watch ultra, depending on your band you will need to have the band open when placing on the Anker cube to charge. You’re correct, The MagSafe duo doesn’t not have fast charging.
@@zanevtechso it shows it’s charging but only doing 20% for 3 hours so looking at around 15 hour to charge it. I don’t know what’s happening it it sucks if I have to go back to using included charger i dont know if its worth $150 for just phone charger
Been using this for about a week. It seems slow charging my Series 9 watch. For example, it took two hours to go from 70% to 100%. The watch is positioned properly. Could the Anker be defective? It goes without saying that the watch charges much more quickly using the included charger.
I am guessing you have optimised charging switched on your Apple Watch. Switch it off if you want the fastest charge always but I prefer to keep my on for battery health.
Yes, the AirPods Pro 1st gen are wireless charging capable, just place it on the AirPods section of the charger. The series 3 can charge as well on the Apple Watch section of the charger, you just will not be able to use the faster charging feature of the Apple Watch section.
@@zanevtech ultra 2. I gave up on it after 6 hours and put it on apple charger which charged 40% in 40 mins or less. also when I first put it on it'll drop 3-5% for first 15 mins. it does fast charge my series 7 though so I dont get what's going with ultra unless its just slightly too big so its not sitting completely on charger and charging very inefficient due to air gap.
Bought this on your recommendation. Great feel, build quality. Appleesque. Tray seems sturdy to me. But, will mostly leave it pulled out on night stand. Charges my Apple Watch 4 and AirPods 2 3rd Gen, which i believe is MagSafe. If I lay my iPhone X flat on top of cube it charges, quickly. Will get my 15 Pro Friday. Is there any issue charging the X till then? Thanks again for super video review.
You can lay the iPhone X without issues, you just won’t be able to magnetically attach the phone to the charger. You shouldn’t have any issues charging.
@@zanevtech Thanks, I thought so. Anxious for the 15Pro though, coming Friday. Got online to preorder immediately. I may get the Ultra2 also, since you show it fits on the tray. Funny thing though, was in the Apple Store and compared Ultra brightness to my S4 watch. Brightness all the way up. My S4 was more easy to read and seemed sharper. Will have to look at Ultra2 and Series 9 to decide. Maybe we will see a review on them by you. Thanks Again!!
@rugmankc the ultra should have a brighter screen and crisper text then the s4. Very interesting that you noticed otherwise. I will be doing a review of the ultra 2 watch soon.

Is the iphone getting hot while charging at a point that charging stops until the iphone becomes cooler?
Why is the tray the weakest link is the try flimsy or loose?

@@dimitrispoupoulis4888 I just saw your message. I can’t say I’ve ever noticed that. I’ve touched it during the night before and it felt fine.
I wish they had a power bank with two sides of magsafe so I could stick it to this mount when I am at home to recharge the power bank
Yeah, that would be a cool feature
Very good review. I watched other videos about the cube and yours was definitely the best. Kudos on a fantastic job!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Very detailed review. Your videos answered all my questions. Thank you!

hi team. can it charge aipods with a case on them?
Good question, if the case is not bulky, and the AirPods case has wireless charging, it should be able to wirelessly charge.
Great Review! At what wattage does it fast charge the Apple Watch Series 7/8?
The fast charging module wattage is at 7.5W. This is set by Apple.
So will it fast charge an Apple Watch ultra?
Yes it will, you just need to lay the band out flat over the charger, if you’re using the ocean band or any band that is stiff.
I think the drawback of not supporting imaginary 16 pro max plus ultra is ok :D
great review. thank you very much . I was never disappointed by Anker too !
Thank you! Appreciate it!

Looking to buy this and 49 mm Ultra2. Are all the Ultras 49mm and if not will this charge a 49mm Ultra? Thanks
Both 1st and 2nd generation Ultra are 49mm. It will charge both. You just need to keep the band you choose open in order to charge.
@zanevtech Thank You, I will get the more flexible Sport Band, so should be good on that. Appreciate quick reply!
Mines charging but super slow. Like from 20% to 45% in 3 hours. At this rate it’ll take over 8 hours to charge it.
Which device? The ultra watch?

Just glue some rubber feet on the bottom. Problems solved

You’ll no longer need a mag safe case to use it (that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get one).
