Concepts is very good for hand-written notes/sketches. It's not the best in any category it covers, but its strong point is to be enough in most of the cases, making it easy to save your thoughts fast enough, and it has some pretty advanced features as well, like brushes, rulers, layers or templates.

Great video and I totally agree that us average consumers with limited budgets need to make the right decision. I’m considering switching to the mini so I’ll test and will see if I convert. On a side note, where can I find that Apple Pencil skin? I really liked it

Hello, I have a problem that no one is talking about. I had 2 calls today with Elgato tech support and they could not help me. My setup is the Elgato Prompter, Facecam Pro 4K, Wavelink Software, Elgato Stream Deck Plus and I also used a Black edition of the Blue Yeti and downloaded OBS and nothing helped. My video looked terrible. It was as if I had AC running and I definitely did not. I also downloaded the Elgato plugin that is supposed to stop clipping and background noise and it did not help. The whole set up is counterintuitive and seems outdated and difficult to use. I would really appreciate and help and suggestions that you could give me. Thanks in advance.

The Mini is one of the greatest products Apple makes. It totally retired My iPad Pro. It’s perfect a work productivity and even gaming.

is it also for italian language speakers?

I want iPad Mini PRO for many years. Or semi-pro. I want better display with 120Hz and OLED. I want better 4 speakers audio and I want Face ID. The rest is almost perfect. I think there are many people which want the best technology in small format.

I moved from Pro -> Mini as well and love it. Pro was too big and didn't meet my higher performance/productivity requirements (at that point might as well have been on a powerful laptop or workstation). Mini is a step up from my mobile and with cellular I use it for 85% of my daily needs now (mostly schedule keeping, comms, news, stock/crypto market data, etc etc). Phone is just text and calls but given most calls for work are Teams/Zoom its made the mobile phone even more obsolete.

I did the same and don't regret it at all!

I mostly do my creative works (illustration and video editing) on Ipad pro, definitly worth it for Procreate (not expensive and intuitive) . also to read books or comics it's perfect. I bought the keyboard but mostly because I write a lot. But don't use ipad for coding, it really depends on why you use it

I have had multiple iPads and iPad Airs and after testing the Mini in the Apple store, I have to agree with you. I am a designer and animator and my previous iPads have been great, but not enough for full productivity. It feels like the Mini will fit the 'digital idea pad' perfectly.

If you have a later iPhone or watch, just set your action button to record a new note and save the cash.

I bought an Amazon renewed IPad mini 6 a year ago for around $300.. it's been fantastic as a little compact companion device. For me it's been all about the size.

Where's the real budget king Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s? Magic keys are good, but they don't offer much protection. if your iPad accidentally fell down, or smth it won't protect. personally. i prefer equipping my iPad with a protective case like spigen tough armor, and then using K380s for their keyboard. the only problem with separate keyboard is the space it will take on your bag. some people loves travelling light. with only small bags.. and only the magic keyboard and the logitech combo touch can fit in the small bags bcs they pretty much only the size of the iPad. sadly, most of the keyboards mentioned here won't fit small bags. Edit: i've recently sold my iPad and switched to samsung tab s9. but the experience in this particular case is pretty much the same, with samsung has their overpriced premium samsung keyboard cover as opposed to apple's magic keyboard. a separate bluetooth keyboard is better because then we can put a protective case to the tablet and get rid of the keyboard when we don't need it. oh and i also one of those ppl who likes to travel with small messenger briefcase that fits my samsung tab.

Where can I find that skin for the iPad

I have 4 iPads. 3 MacBooks and 3 iPhones (one for USA, India , and Nepal) The iPad mini is where I do 90% of my work. It’s the perfect size. All my other iPads are too heavy. It’s bright enough. It’s loud enough. I wish it had an M4 and a promotion screen. I’ll use my Mini6 until they ship the IPad mini Pro or iPad mini 8

What I’m dreaming about is just being able to use whatever iPad I buy for next 5years. Hope the chip will be updateable and battery last. I’m prob good with 10th Gen iPad but it’s an old chip? Seems should at least get into one of the M chips? M2 or A16ya or not necessary ? I like iPad because I prefer touch screen to poke around on

If only Apple would add a phone facility to the mini, it would be perfect.

I remember an audio recorder device I bought about 20 years ago. I used to record plot notes, scene descriptions, characters, dialogues... Later, I realized the enormous amount of hours it would take to transcribe all of that by hand. Sometimes, I couldn't even understand what I was saying. I ended up giving and abandoning all those notes. Yes, this device would have been amazing back then... Asking the app about something you recorded with this device sounds awesome. Thanks for the privacy info. I always doubt if I'll lose my property using this kind of services.

Where can we get that apple pencil cover case ?

Apple has a way of making us long for the proverbial "new tech feel" or "fmo". I recently decided to trade in my iPad Mini last gen for this one. I did not do sue diligence and found my apple pencil did not work on the Mini 7. On the plus side Best Buy gave me $350 on a trade. I like having more power overhead and a few new features. However I believe keeping my previous iPad would of been okay. The one feature I would of liked was an upgrade on the screen. 500 nits is less than I'd like in an outdoor situation. I am currently still using an iPhone 13 pro max. Battery is at 81% so again theirs the temptation to upgrade. I have played with a new phone. It feels like a minor spec bump for my useage. I would say in our current economy good tech that meets your needs is worth keeping. Don't let the alure of new take the joy out of what you own.
