My wife and I stopped here and stayed in the Gatlinburg Inn. We did go on the Skylift and Skybridge!! We were supposed to ride the Space Needle, but it was down for maintenance. Thank you for showing us what there is to do down here in the South. God Bless you all!!
Showing my age...when I was a kid, I used to go to Gatlinburg several times a year with my family. We always rode the Skylift every time because it was my favorite thing to do there. I remember it was the same ride up, but all that was at the top was one small building that sold snacks, toys, and novelties. I love that it's gotten so much bigger.
Thank you for this awesome video. I will be traveling to Gatlinburg in May '24 and wanted to put this on my list. I am afraid of heights and it makes me angry. Let me explain that. I love the view from heights, the scenery, taking pictures. But part of my brain appears to fight this, lol. My knees feel like jelly and I can't get myself to walk forward. Once at the location I love it. If someone takes me, it's all good. So, I know I can get on the lift, I know I can walk the path. But I was worried about the bridge. But after watching this...I could see & feel your walk across it. I think I can achieve this!! And I can't wait to go get some beautiful pictures!! Thank you for this.
Our pleasure Janette, hope you are able to conquer your fear and can have a great time next month! Feel free to ask questions here or on our Facebook page anytime, we are happy to help out!

Ryan.. I could have gotten you up there free! I have a lifetime pass ..I met the owner many yrs ago as he was building it ...It's beautiful!! Let's do something soon!
You really should ask the owner's first before you go onto other's channels and tell them you can get them up there free, the owner would be losing money for everytime you offer it as free, you have a lifetime pass, I don't think I would jeopardize losing it instead of abusing it.. just my personal opinion..
Anakeesta does have more to do up top (zip line, mountain coaster, tree top walk, etc). Similar experience, different views. We hope you have a great time when you come!

Might annoy those skinflints who might, in a bid to save a bit of money, would have the entire party WALK up to the top to avoid paying for the chairlift - although, as it’s not free admission, the fee covers the cost, according to the commentator - or the party leader might think that using the chairlift is lazy - and make the entire party walk up and down - only to be told that there is no walking route - you go up via chairlift or you don’t go up at all!

not handicapp accesible?
I mention accessibility at the beginning when getting on the lift Mark.
Ryan.. I could have gotten you up there free! I have a lifetime pass ..I met the owner many yrs ago as he was building it ...It's beautiful!! Let's do something soon!
That is a blessing to have! I’m sure we will run into each other eventually!

You really should ask the owner's first before you go onto other's channels and tell them you can get them up there free, the owner would be losing money for everytime you offer it as free, you have a lifetime pass, I don't think I would jeopardize losing it instead of abusing it.. just my personal opinion..
Scared of heights, but still it's a beautiful place to go with a partner
SkyLift Park in Gatlinburg Tennessee is great Kamal!
I hear they really gouge you on prices!!!
I didn’t notice any “price gauging” here beyond any other tourist place in the area.
@@AdventureIsOutThere I mean, Why do they need to charge 40 bucks a person? That's about 200 for my family!
Looks kinda meh but we booked anakeesta and ober already so this seems redundant.
Anakeesta does have more to do up top (zip line, mountain coaster, tree top walk, etc). Similar experience, different views. We hope you have a great time when you come!
@@AdventureIsOutThere We have ober book for 2/16, anakeesta w/astra lumina for 2/17, and was thinking national park for 2/18. Any other must sees to fill in the gaps?
@@big12knights39 we have an Ober & astra lumina tour/tip video. I would check this video out: th-cam.com/video/0_Zxgu5kOjw/w-d-xo.html
@@AdventureIsOutThere Oh, I did. That's why we booked lol
👍
Can a wheelchair get to the sky bridge
Hey Donna! The Gatlinburg SkyLift Park staff can accommodate disabled individuals on the SkyLift, SkyDeck, lower level of the SkyCenter, and the elevated boardwalk portion of the SkyTrail. However, the SkyBridge is not wheelchair accessible.
Pass
I'm sorry, but $32.00 seems a bit costly just to ride a ski lift.
I'll be dang dimmed. There at 4:37 is ole Bill Deel from Grundy, Virginia. I been lookin fer that feller fer 17 yers. He owes me $7,300. Moved away from Grundy whilst I wuz hunting him. Right yonder he is with some cow. I'll be dang dimmed if I won't find that frucker now.
🤷♂️
$32 to ride a chair lift up a mountain and walk across a bridge 😂
👍
$31 dollars to walk across a bridge? What a joke!
Now it's 50.00
I’d pay more to ensure the quality of the ride up and bridge across is sturdy and well maintained.
Thank you for this helpful video will do this today. Is it true pets are allowed bc we have dog. Although am reading the information doesn’t mention any of that. Thank you in advance for your response and Happy Holidays!!!
way over priced $75 for the two of us to simply ride up the lift and walk across a bridge
Just curious, what attractions in the area do you considered not overpriced?
Gatlinsburg, and Dollywood? Most of the time is dolly man made hell! Overcrowd, expensive, and no parking! Like a viagara commercial! Wait 2 hours for 5 minute ride! Motels overpriced, go somewhere else! Maybe it won’t be this bad!
