Instagram - AdamTheWooATW In typical impulsive fashion I skipped out in my plane flight home from Atlanta to LAX and rented a car to gatlinburg area . I decided just hours prior to boarding , one day I’ll be predictable . Maybe
About 20 yrs ago, I could have done all that, but now my equilibrium is shot & heights are best seen from a vehicle or other enclosed modes of transport. It is a marvelous wonder & something great that man has brought forth. Too bad too many people try and make life miserable. God has given people the knowledge to create this & we should offer our thanks for that.
Great video..I admit I was nervous just watching. I started to sweat when you were looking down over the glass area. Thank you for the video. As always I learned something new.
As a longtime resident 40+ years in Sunny ☀️ Awesome Southern California... I never thought i’d ever want to move out of this State that im so proud of... But good lord, I want to retire in Gatlinburg TN. 👍🏼
I want to retire to SC...my oldest daughter and son n law live there...i love it there, love the weather compared to Nebraska winters that I dislike...when my youngest graduates in 4 yrs that is where I am going
I lived in Michigan for 50 years. Now live in Tn 40 minutes from Gatinburg. Just be aware its hotter here than California. But the mountains make it worth it
rgtrooper13 not everyone *me* aren’t wacky liberals in Cali. It makes me so mad when people think all of Cali is. We did have the Govenator for his max time so there is a decent amount of normal republicans here. We just don’t have time to vote unlike the unemployed libs here.
I lived in Gatlinburg with my dad was shooting a movie back in 1969 called walk in the spring rain with Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman. What an absolutely amazing beautiful part of our country. We literally had a small flowing river behind where we lived.
New sub other day from Athens Ga . Young blue collar dad here born in ‘74..introduced wife and kids (19/14/9 yrs old ) to the daily woo and now they ask me ..”dad can we watch the daily woo together now ? “ We are cut from the same cloth my friend . Fam & I are now also along for the ride praying you along each little awesome stop w/ your positivity and never ever straying from nostalgia’s lane.
I am still sweating at the end of the video! Heights are the worst! They would have had to call the fire dept. for a rescue if I was over that glass! AAaarrrgggggghhh! How did you do it Adam? When I started to hear a little crack in your voice, my crack started to pour sweat! You are the bravest man alive! I could barely make it to the end, but I did so that's why I'm giving a thumbs up!
My first memory as a boyscout in the 70s in Gatlinburg was putting a quarter in a machine and a live Chicken shooting a ping pong ball through a hoop for the feed that was deposited. Memories of youth... great video btw!
At one time in this country at different locations they had entertainment machines that use live animals in them chickens and other animals they could play tic tac toe against you and the chicken would always win there was a chain of stores called Stuckey's all across the South and they had these machines in the front of them. Sorry about the run on punctuation. They were boxy Square wooden machines and you could see the animal inside.
You wearing a real shirt tonight. Looks good on you. Thanks for taking us because I will never ride a sky lift or walk the swinging bridge. Well, maybe the bridge, but not the ski lift.
Plus there is a mini rod run in town right now and bigger one next weekend I’m pretty sure so the parkway will be pretty busy. Plus all of the hurricane traffic is putting quite a few people here. Still not terrible though.
I'm glad I took the time to watch this video as it brought back fond memories of my childhood on vacation with my parents and younger brother and times, as an adult, that I visited Gatlinburg prior to the 1990s. The Lovely Bride have been playing around with the idea of celebrating our next wedding anniversary in Gatlinburg and even renewing our vows there.
I was just there a week or two ago. Right after you must have been in town. Couldn’t bring myself to stop on the glass lol. I just kept looking forward and walking. It was a lot more shakey than I imagined. Awesome experience though. Can’t wait to come back and see what else they add to the place.
Love the on-the-road stuff, Adam! I love the Disney stuff (obviously, I make Disney videos), but I think some of my favorites are the things I wasn't expecting to see you do!
We loved the Skybridge It was one of the New attractions for 2019 that we were looking forward to and it was really cool can't wait to go back next year and see what other new Must see attractions will be there .Gatlinburg is One of my Favorite Places without a doubt 💜
I love how you show us the places we have never seen before. This place is beautiful! Loved the sunset to night time. You have given me so many places I would like to go visit. Thank you for your unpredictability! Wish I could be more like that.
Part of me wonders if the Gatlinburg fire was to make way for this attraction and other planned growth. People can be such underhanded, sneaky, liars. They dont care who or what dies/suffers as long as they get what they want. So sad.
I’ve always watched in envy, when you walk across such high places, and it never seems to bother you.this was fun to watch, but I doubt I’d do it, maybe with a couple shots of moonshine....
Gatlinburg has always been one of my favorite spots in America and have visited dozens of times over the years. But, I haven't been back for a while, since the fires. I need to go back and experience this new attraction. Loved your video!! Thanks!
Took my son to Gatlinburg for the first time in May. It was there I learned that I am absolutely terrified of ski lift style transportation. I decided very quickly that the bridge was not an option.
I am new watching your videos. I am glad you video taped this, but I am way to scared to walk that walk way/bridge...so at least I know what it would look like if I did it. Plus, all the noises it makes. Thanks for sharing
We just did the sky bridge on New Year’s Eve. Didn’t think I’d be able to do it but it was beautiful. Much better and easier than I anticipated. And I have inner ear problems. So I feel if I can, most can. Definitely worth it!!
At least you didn't jump up and down on the glass like Jacob did. Going to be there in 5 weeks. Thanks for the update. Hope to see more of Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge from you soon!
If you get admission for the Sky Lift, it's an all-day pass. It's a must to do it in the day and come back at night. It's super peaceful riding it at night with the lights and temperature drop.
We are planning a trip to Gatlinburg this Spring Break and these videos have been a wonderful form of entertainment and planning tool. Thank you for these and I hope you get back to the Tennessee area sooner than later. They’re my absolutely favorite collection of your Daily Woo videos!
Going to Gatlinburg June 16th 2021. Currently re-watching your videos and re-loving them all. I didn't know my 👍would disappear bc I KNOW that I've watched before. After all, that's where I got the inspiration to go! 😊🤗 Keep posting awesome content!
I have a horrible fear of heights and I did this in Gatlinburg a couple months ago when me and my gf went on vacation. It was terrifying but totally worth it.
Years ago I would have loved to cross the bridge but as I became a senior citizen I fear height sure is a beautiful sight though. Love vacationing in Tennessee one of my favorite places to visit next to Disney World Florida
This was a very informative video. I plan to take a trip up there to Gatlinburg, Tennessee this next spring. I definitely wish to cross this bridge when I am a tourist. Thank you for being so adventurous and doing these different explorations for your viewing party to indulge in and see what all there is to take notice of in this world Adam. You make "nap time" happier for me as my son is taking his nap in the afternoons where i can simply plug in my earbuds and go on these adventures with you.
Looks really cool at night. I'd like to visit Gatlinburg sometime in the near future. We always enjoy the videos you do there. Dragon Con videos were awesome too!
Really beautiful scenery up there in the Smokey’s. I’m not going to lie I would probably be walking down that bridge holding onto the sides most of way. But I would still cross it to say I did it.
@@TheDailyWoo have you had a chance to stay at a Dollywood property? I'd love to stay at a arcade cabin that the trackers showed on one of their recent trips.
Loved it Adam. The lady on the bridge was hallious me and my 92 year old Aunt listen to it at least 10 times. "Thats as fur as im going" Lol....Thanks for sharing your journeys. It's a southern thing😍
Doing my happy dance! Gatlinburg is my fave place. Thank you Adam. Not been on the bridge yet, but I think they need to rename it 'The Sways Dog Bridge'! See what I did there! Lol
Our family spent a portion of our vacation in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge a little more than a month ago. We didn’t “traverse” the bridge though! Still, a great vacation and so much to see and do in the area. Glad to see it again on your vlog.

Have you been to Michigan for adventures? If not you should go there, plenty of nice places to see!
You've gotten a lot better over the years at just being quiet and showing the scenic views.

I lived in Gatlinburg with my dad was shooting a movie back in 1969 called walk in the spring rain with Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman. What an absolutely amazing beautiful part of our country. We literally had a small flowing river behind where we lived.
Anthony Quinn was Ingrid's love interest in the movie.
A small flowing river?.. Better keep it quiet or every state will want one. :)
LOVE your Gatlinburg videos! so glad they rebuilt and are doing well
Spooker Red Menace i live in gatlinburg, and none of our attractions burned down. Just homes.
Whatever you do......definitely look down!! Good to see you back there! It's been awhile!
