Thank you very much for this information. Neurocognitive REHAB, to retrain the nervous system. Don't spend all of your time reading and researching and thinking about negative symptoms (: because that keeps your body in cortisol probably, fight, flight, freeze). Instead have a level of acceptance in what is right now and focus on adding things that make you FEEL GOOD, physically and emotionally, looking at things that make you smile and feel better. Little non strenuous exercises that help you feel better, take up a hobby, art, drawing, coloring, anything.... Listening to good podcasts, The Brain that Changes itself, etc
I have been working with a combination of grief, long covid, and TMS and have been full time for 20 month's and i keep getting symptom imperative, fatigue and dizziness and brain fog are the worst. Hoping to.take bens course next year my family needs the old me back better then i was before. 😢😢

Relatable. My 'straw' was march 2020, working frontline covid march 2020, and between nursing shifts to teaching zumba, NFP, hiking club, singles trips...never sick, not a drinker or "partier" and I was high on life! Never even got a a flu. I found out through the longcovid torture, I had EBV, Lyme, Mold toxicity, Metal toxicity, etc.....then when you were sick in march 2020 .....you got NO help since you were "still positive"....masks that make you more hypoxic, oh it was traumatizing and hell. I'm glad you brought up the childhood stuff as well. Thank you! Yes, all of this.
I had a virus that the doc said was the flu but had some strange symptoms like me and my two boys all got extremely bad eye infections. To the point my teen son had puss actually pouring out of his eyes. I had never seen anything like it. This was January 2020. February 3rd I hit my head at a park with my kids, felt odd immediately but hospital said I was fine and to rest. One week to the day later it was like a light switch flipped on. My body was flooded immediately with symptoms. Internal tremors, heart racing, could barely walk I was so weak, couldn’t stop going to the bathroom, was sensitive to everything, sound, light, ect. I was almost completely bedridden for 6 months then for the next year barely functional, but I could live with help rom my kids. Then I got Covid and symptoms got worse again. A year later still working at recovery. Went to a concussion specialist and he sent me to physical therapy and a ophthalmologist. Ended up getting blue tinted glasses a couple weeks ago and I’m worried to speak to soon but I feel it’s making a difference. This whole time I have thought it’s not just from the concussion. Every time id do research I’d find my symptoms are just like cfs. I feel the concussion with the virus and the fact I had been under extreme extreme emotional stress for several years before that all was a perfect storm. Everyone just told me it was just anxiety or depression. Panic attacks don’t last 3 years. I have started to listen to these videos and the ones from Miguel and change my mindset and I really feel it’s making a difference. I’m so hopeful to see how these next months go, but also feel prepared when my symptoms flare up again so I won’t be scared like I normally am. I think the hardest part is most of the people in my life didn’t believe me. Not even my husband, he ended up leaving me during this process. Which is a good thing since he was the reason for the extreme stress. My two boys are the only ones that really know what it has been like since they’ve been the one helping to care for me. It breaks my heart. My mom believed me after I had to move back home cause I couldn’t care for myself anymore. She saw how bad it was. It’s hurtful when you’ve never been a person to lie and people doubt you just because they don’t understand what’s happening. The isolation has been almost unbearable. Hearing others stories and talking about their symptoms and describing them in a way I could never find the words for, is so overwhelming. I finally feel like I’m not crazy. After a while of people telling you your crazy you start to think maybe you are. Im so grateful for finding these channels. I finally feel understood. So thank you very much! My suggestion is somewhat controversial and with so many comments taken down, I don’t want to say it unless I know you’ve seen this reply of mine. So please let me know. I know I’m sounding sketchy but the way things are call for unusual strategies to get around the barriers. I’ve had CFS for almost 20 years and have gone through the frustrations of not being believed. The past 5 years have been my best with my energy levels slowly but steadily increasing ever since my ex spouse exited my life. That brought to the forefront how much of an impact stress has on my health. You have the addition of the viral impact and I hope to have the opportunity to point you towards help for it.

can you help me. All our doctors wont listen. Me and all 3 of my kids have severe long covid. I first thought it was toxic mold exposure because we all got soooo ill . I was so confused how all of us could be having heart ,brain ,lung ,circulation, gi problems ,reflux ,severe constipation, mental impairment . I have brain swelling , double vision and lightening effects,my flight or fight is severely stuck on , i have huge panic / anxiety/ ill / overly weak shakey feeling . Chest and abdominal pain,i feel like i got punched in the upper left chest , weird mouth growths ,swelling fingers/joints. I just dont know what to do. How can we beat this ? How can i help myself and my children . Ages 4-16 . Im 41 and perimenopausal . So my hormones are soooooo outta wack. My cycles cause flares . Around my period and ovulation i usually get sent to the hospital with histamine ,sugar, blood pressure ,circulation,blood clots . Pleeease im desperate how can i save us 😭😥😢

I LOVED this talk ! BEN is exceptional. I've listened to many of your interviews but I appreciated Ben's info and delivery the most!! His ringing phone example ( it causes me panic as well ! ) of brain retraining is extremely helpful to me! 27 yrs very ill with CFS , POTS , ETC BUT JUST NOW finally able to hear that the ANS is at the core of much of this! I have lived in FIGHT/ FLIGHT most of my life so my new life / daily / hourly ... goal is to begin to calm my responses by reassuring myself I AM SAFE IN MY BODY AND IN THE WORLD. SSD 23 yrs , ughh, no finances for Ben's Program but I am most drawn to his , by far! Thank you Raelan and Ben !
So much of what he says resonates with my experiences. I also share the view that recovery is a matter of addressing underlying physical problems as well as detrimental thought patterns. I've come across a lot of CFS communities who maintain that since it's a physical illness the only valid type of cure will come in the form of medicines and discount any the idea that conscious and subconscious thoughts can perpetuate symptoms. Likewise I feel like a lot of brain-training recovery programs downplay the importance of getting tested for things like hidden infections, deficiencies and toxins and over-emphasise the importance of the mind-body connection. Ben's approach seems a lot more balanced and evidence based. I'm doing ANS Rewire at the moment though now I'm thinking of doing Re-Origin once I've finished with it.

My gosh, the CFS has hit me so hard and now I realize with the help of two therapists that I have major PTSD among it all. The pain is excruciating, but Ben’s messages really do align with what I’m experiencing and this gives me hope that there’s a way out. Thank you for this interview.
As soon as I can for me would mean winning the lottery! I need a wee bit of extra help to get unstuck but I will never be able to afford it on disability, and yet 99% of success stories I listen to have all had a private coach. I’ll have to figure this out on my own but there certainly is a lot of info available free online. I would almost he willing to sell my car to get coaching from this intelligent man. Ha ha
@loriewert5267 You do not need a private coach. That would be a good example of a limiting belief that needs to change. Everything you need to learn in the realm of brain training/Cognatuve rewiring/Cognative reframing and neuroplastisity is available for free. TH-cam, podcasts amd audio books are the best place to start if you don't have the mental energy to read a book. There are many facets to recovery but learning how to retrain your brain and use your psychology effectively to calm and heal your immune and central nervous system is by far the most important thing to learn in your overall recovery. I went through the same thing. Take it step by step slowly. Where the mind goes the body will follow.
I had to stop and smile (teary-eyed) when he started talking about making art and how trivial something like that felt to me before I got really sick. Im sitting painting as I listen to this and am just really appreciating the joy I can find it now, at one of my lowest points ever, unable to work and relying on my partner for pretty much everything. I haven't even finished the interview but I just had to stop and tell you how much I'm loving this. I relate so much, I got sick when I was 25 as well, and I also feel that I need to put all my resources into finding ways to get better (bashing myself when I don't), but I have also recently realized how important it is to find joyful activities that can take my mind of the experience. He brings up much of what I've read in numerous books (about the milieu being more important than the pathogen, about neuroplasticity and the nervous system etc.) but he manages to sum it up in such a great way. This video is a gift to people who recently got sick and the one I had wished was available when I first got this illness. This resonated so much with me so that I almost wish I wasn't on another program so I could join his. This is something that stresses me out sometimes, there are so many things to try and sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the "best" one for me. When it comes to neuroplasticity training there are so many programs, which of course is a good thing, there is something for everyone, but all the choices can be a bit stressful. I should just try to reframe it and realise that this is just more evidence that brain retraining works and I'm on the right track. Just a reflection. But again, great interview!
This is so similar to my story! I have suffered for 25 years. I have been pretty much bedridden after getting COVID-19 and not sticking to my keto diet and supplement regime.
Agree completely. Very inspired by so much new information becoming available, but at times have a lot of grief about all the lost time ... following a very long illness journey.

Fascinating about the strategy to overcome the stressful noises! A family member years ago had a long lasting building site on their doorstep and ended up developing psychosis, got very poorly. Wish I'd known about this strategy.

Also, the financial aspect and how they coped with it, because this is huge fear for me. I need a working pause, then what, how would this look like, or how I will provide my family, what will I do without isurance, how will I pay for the couses to get better. Brilliant interview. He packs so much important information in here. His program sounds like exactly what people need. I realised very early on in my recovery that a conditioned stress response was one of the main contributors to this condition but few people saw this as they were focussed on the trigger not the terrain. Now i teach people how to rewire by processing past experience. Attachment trauma is very often what sets the nervous system into hyper vigilance and then the tipping point comes along and the system cannot adapt and crashes instead. So it's vital to reduce the conditioned stress response AND the past overwhelming experience which hasn't been metabolised. Many children grow up with this without knowing. Especially highly sensitive ones.. So thanks for all your do Raelan. Wish this information was available able when I was struggling 20 years but ago but at least now it is available people can have hope of recovery.
I hope you message spreads far and wide! I’ve had CFS for 20 yrs and learned just how primary stress is as a factor when I got out of a very toxic 42 yr marriage. I need to find a way to reduce my conditioned stress response while in my current situation where the abuse continues through covert cyberstalking. Without the resources to hire very expensive tech companies, my countermeasures have been ineffective. Maintaining positivity is a bit of a challenge and learned helplessness is definitely a factor.
Good approach to calm our nervous system for things other than symptoms. Does anyone know of someone who went to back to their work full time after fully recovering? I am seeing most of them change careers .
No I haven’t. You don’t go back to your old self 100%. Some damage is already done. There was a great article I read that people with cfs have mitochondrial death resulting in less ATP being produced and more cell death. The brain retraining and mediation is basically maximising on what mitochondria and ATP production you have left. Which is why you see improvement. Imagine if a healthy person who never had CFS and they started doing all this brain retraining and healthy lifestyle. I think it would just add more to their energy reserves. For example. Let’s say you got your typical healthy male who can work 50-60 hrs a week easily, but found it exhausting to work 65 - 75 hrs a week. After brain retraining, mediation and change of diet. They have found they can work the 65 - 75 hrs a week.
I may be wrong, but I believe most people I’ve seen change their careers because when they have time to reflect and to heal they realise that they weren’t happy in their previous career and it was one of the causes of the illness.
Its not just rethinking . All though it helps big big time . Just like prayer. However alot of this is happening because the brain swells. So dont just assume you can just tell yourself your ok . It helps yes. But make sure your doctors are checking brain inflammation. I started getting jumpy ,then super stressed ,overloaded ,etc ... but turns out long covid caused my brain to swell ,i had no idea ... i was having constant panic attacks . Was horrible ,my lady cycles kept causing flares
@@breezylyn2168, so sorry!! What did you do to get better? I get head inflammation too around my cycle-it does feel like my brain is swelling. Oddly, it doesn’t scare me, and I stay relaxed, but I attribute that to my faith! Still, I’d like to get better. I’m currently doing a ketogenic mostly carnivore diet.
Agree. It's like each guest has a program but we don't get to learn what they are selling. It frustrating. I thought we would be helped with tools. But the good stuff is apparently for sale. I consider this to be wrong.
Uhm, no, not true... They do actually give clear examples and explanations of what helped them here and in other interviews... Also if you grasp the general idea you can use your own creativity to find out what works for you. Creating a whole program for others to follow takes a lot of time, energy and money (for website maintenance etc), do you expect people to just offer that for free?

If you can’t afford this most major hospitals especially teaching hospitals should have a program like this I believe they have one at A hospital in LA,that I always pretty much pooh-poohed and forgot about. It’s also a long drive from where I live.
He's talks about and is aware that sound sensitivity is a thing, but he hits the mic throughout the conversation. I'm jumping out of my skin here because I'm in chronic fight/flight, wanting to get the info but it's impossible. It's like an explosion in my brain every time he hits it. Great interview in and of itself, but can't listen any longer because the mic punching hurts too much.
Although the channel is giving some hope, it’s kinda of disconcerting that all the guests are selling some kind of coaching or other product. Are there any stories of people that just recovered and want to share?
There are lots - the reality is that many people who recover become passionate about helping others (thankfully) so that is a part of their story. But you will definitely find in the dozens of interviews here there are many people who are simply just telling their story. Take the time to go back through those interviews and you will find lots.

I was surprised this video didn’t go more into addressing the limbic system and nervous system - - the subconscious brain, as that is what his program most targets. Yes, they do work on emotional health, and that is very important, but it is the subconscious brain, to my understanding, that gets stuck in a fight or flight state that keeps the body sick, and so it is that part of the subconscious brain, the nervous system and limbic system, that must be changed. Maybe I missed it, but it seemed like he mostly focused on emotions and how we perceive our life during this interview. Or, perhaps it was just about his experience with how he got well, and maybe for him, it was just positive emotions, but when he started working on helping others, he learned more about the subconscious brain and incorporated that into his program.
My issue with his retraining program is, he talked about emf, light sensitivity. Well his program is mostly online with his program in bright white light backscreeen. So someone with extreme ligh sensitivity cant do his program which is made for someone with light sensitivity??? 🙄How about a book? with phone sessions. Even thought it may not ba as profitable, books were the instruments used to impart and pass down knowledge before no matter how techinical it was. Im irritated because what he said resonated with me but the program is not doable. Note to Ben if he's reading this. Please use a total black backscreen and off white letters for all CFS content.
Why not state this respectfully? Being sick is no excuse to be rude. :/ What about blue blocker glasses? Or, Sunset Screen allows you to greatly reduce the brightness and the blue light. You can have a dim, orange screen. ❤

53:44 Here he shares a specific exercise to use to retrain your brain to respond calmer to things that trigger us. By repeating this with all kinds of triggers it can help reset our nervous system to "rest and digest" which restores the natural healing properties of our bodies. 🙏🏽
It feels like the body is dying . The doctors up here act like we are crazy . Or lying . Its horrible . They were all like you need to see psych , is home life ok.
I think it should be. The way I understand it, CFS and fibro are sister diseases. Both have fatigue and pain and brain fog but the LEADING symptom is what makes the diagnosis. For fibro, the pain is the biggest, most debilitating symptom. For CFS, it’s the fatigue. So the principles for recover should really apply to both. Much love. I’ve been unwell almost twice as long as I was well (and I was anxious all my life). Now 69, it’s hard to imagine a bright future, but I keep going.
The brain doesn't know what's real or Imagined. So I visualise doing everything I want to achieve over and over. It's a great tool.

I had a virus that the doc said was the flu but had some strange symptoms like me and my two boys all got extremely bad eye infections. To the point my teen son had puss actually pouring out of his eyes. I had never seen anything like it. This was January 2020. February 3rd I hit my head at a park with my kids, felt odd immediately but hospital said I was fine and to rest. One week to the day later it was like a light switch flipped on. My body was flooded immediately with symptoms. Internal tremors, heart racing, could barely walk I was so weak, couldn’t stop going to the bathroom, was sensitive to everything, sound, light, ect. I was almost completely bedridden for 6 months then for the next year barely functional, but I could live with help rom my kids. Then I got Covid and symptoms got worse again. A year later still working at recovery. Went to a concussion specialist and he sent me to physical therapy and a ophthalmologist. Ended up getting blue tinted glasses a couple weeks ago and I’m worried to speak to soon but I feel it’s making a difference. This whole time I have thought it’s not just from the concussion. Every time id do research I’d find my symptoms are just like cfs. I feel the concussion with the virus and the fact I had been under extreme extreme emotional stress for several years before that all was a perfect storm. Everyone just told me it was just anxiety or depression. Panic attacks don’t last 3 years. I have started to listen to these videos and the ones from Miguel and change my mindset and I really feel it’s making a difference. I’m so hopeful to see how these next months go, but also feel prepared when my symptoms flare up again so I won’t be scared like I normally am.
I think the hardest part is most of the people in my life didn’t believe me. Not even my husband, he ended up leaving me during this process. Which is a good thing since he was the reason for the extreme stress. My two boys are the only ones that really know what it has been like since they’ve been the one helping to care for me. It breaks my heart. My mom believed me after I had to move back home cause I couldn’t care for myself anymore. She saw how bad it was. It’s hurtful when you’ve never been a person to lie and people doubt you just because they don’t understand what’s happening. The isolation has been almost unbearable. Hearing others stories and talking about their symptoms and describing them in a way I could never find the words for, is so overwhelming. I finally feel like I’m not crazy. After a while of people telling you your crazy you start to think maybe you are. Im so grateful for finding these channels. I finally feel understood. So thank you very much! Im forever grateful to hear everyone’s stories on this channel and in the comments.

can you help me. All our doctors wont listen. Me and all 3 of my kids have severe long covid. I first thought it was toxic mold exposure because we all got soooo ill . I was so confused how all of us could be having heart ,brain ,lung ,circulation, gi problems ,reflux ,severe constipation, mental impairment . I have brain swelling , double vision and lightening effects,my flight or fight is severely stuck on , i have huge panic / anxiety/ ill / overly weak shakey feeling . So much of what he says resonates with my experiences. I also share the view that recovery is a matter of addressing underlying physical problems as well as detrimental thought patterns. I've come across a lot of CFS communities who maintain that since it's a physical illness the only valid type of cure will come in the form of medicines and discount any the idea that conscious and subconscious thoughts can perpetuate symptoms. Likewise I feel like a lot of brain-training recovery programs downplay the importance of getting tested for things like hidden infections, deficiencies and toxins and over-emphasise the importance of the mind-body connection. Ben's approach seems a lot more balanced and evidence based. I'm doing ANS Rewire at the moment though now I'm thinking of doing Re-Origin once I've finished with it.
Ben voice is very soothing and he is so knowledgeable… and gives such hope! Plus he’s a New Yorker…my home!!

@loriewert5267 You do not need a private coach. That would be a good example of a limiting belief that needs to change. Everything you need to learn in the realm of brain training/Cognatuve rewiring/Cognative reframing and neuroplastisity is available for free. TH-cam, podcasts amd audio books are the best place to start if you don't have the mental energy to read a book. There are many facets to recovery but learning how to retrain your brain and use your psychology effectively to calm and heal your immune and central nervous system is by far the most important thing to learn in your overall recovery. I went through the same thing. Take it step by step slowly. Where the mind goes the body will follow.
I had to stop and smile (teary-eyed) when he started talking about making art and how trivial something like that felt to me before I got really sick. Im sitting painting as I listen to this and am just really appreciating the joy I can find it now, at one of my lowest points ever, unable to work and relying on my partner for pretty much everything. I haven't even finished the interview but I just had to stop and tell you how much I'm loving this.
I relate so much, I got sick when I was 25 as well, and I also feel that I need to put all my resources into finding ways to get better (bashing myself when I don't), but I have also recently realized how important it is to find joyful activities that can take my mind of the experience. He brings up much of what I've read in numerous books (about the milieu being more important than the pathogen, about neuroplasticity and the nervous system etc.) but he manages to sum it up in such a great way. This video is a gift to people who recently got sick and the one I had wished was available when I first got this illness.
This resonated so much with me so that I almost wish I wasn't on another program so I could join his. This is something that stresses me out sometimes, there are so many things to try and sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the "best" one for me. When it comes to neuroplasticity training there are so many programs, which of course is a good thing, there is something for everyone, but all the choices can be a bit stressful. I should just try to reframe it and realise that this is just more evidence that brain retraining works and I'm on the right track.

A family member years ago had a long lasting building site on their doorstep and ended up developing psychosis, got very poorly. Wish I'd known about this strategy.

It would be interesting to touch more in the talks - how people handled personal relationship during the sick period (spouse, parents, siblings, best friends) and what was the impact on those relations. Also, the financial aspect and how they coped with it, because this is huge fear for me. I need a working pause, then what, how would this look like, or how I will provide my family, what will I do without isurance, how will I pay for the couses to get better.
It will be of help of people elaborate this side of the story, too.

Brilliant interview. He packs so much important information in here. His program sounds like exactly what people need. I realised very early on in my recovery that a conditioned stress response was one of the main contributors to this condition but few people saw this as they were focussed on the trigger not the terrain. Now i teach people how to rewire by processing past experience. Attachment trauma is very often what sets the nervous system into hyper vigilance and then the tipping point comes along and the system cannot adapt and crashes instead. So it's vital to reduce the conditioned stress response AND the past overwhelming experience which hasn't been metabolised. Many children grow up with this without knowing. Especially highly sensitive ones..
So thanks for all your do Raelan. Wish this information was available able when I was struggling 20 years but ago but at least now it is available people can have hope of recovery.

I hope you message spreads far and wide! I’ve had CFS for 20 yrs and learned just how primary stress is as a factor when I got out of a very toxic 42 yr marriage. I need to find a way to reduce my conditioned stress response while in my current situation where the abuse continues through covert cyberstalking. Without the resources to hire very expensive tech companies, my countermeasures have been ineffective. Maintaining positivity is a bit of a challenge and learned helplessness is definitely a factor.
Good approach to calm our nervous system for things other than symptoms. Does anyone know of someone who went to back to their work full time after fully recovering? I am seeing most of them change careers .
No I haven’t. You don’t go back to your old self 100%. Some damage is already done. There was a great article I read that people with cfs have mitochondrial death resulting in less ATP being produced and more cell death.
The brain retraining and mediation is basically maximising on what mitochondria and ATP production you have left. Which is why you see improvement.
Imagine if a healthy person who never had CFS and they started doing all this brain retraining and healthy lifestyle. I think it would just add more to their energy reserves. For example. Let’s say you got your typical healthy male who can work 50-60 hrs a week easily, but found it exhausting to work 65 - 75 hrs a week. After brain retraining, mediation and change of diet. They have found they can work the 65 - 75 hrs a week.
I may be wrong, but I believe most people I’ve seen change their careers because when they have time to reflect and to heal they realise that they weren’t happy in their previous career and it was one of the causes of the illness.
Its not just rethinking . All though it helps big big time . Just like prayer. However alot of this is happening because the brain swells. So dont just assume you can just tell yourself your ok . It helps yes. But make sure your doctors are checking brain inflammation. I started getting jumpy ,then super stressed ,overloaded ,etc ... but turns out long covid caused my brain to swell ,i had no idea ... i was having constant panic attacks . Was horrible ,my lady cycles kept causing flares
@@breezylyn2168, so sorry!! What did you do to get better? I get head inflammation too around my cycle-it does feel like my brain is swelling. Oddly, it doesn’t scare me, and I stay relaxed, but I attribute that to my faith! Still, I’d like to get better. I’m currently doing a ketogenic mostly carnivore diet.
Agree. It's like each guest has a program but we don't get to learn what they are selling. It frustrating. I thought we would be helped with tools. But the good stuff is apparently for sale. I consider this to be wrong.
Agree.. so frustrating as one has to BUY their program to actually see what it's all about . Same with every guest .
Uhm, no, not true... They do actually give clear examples and explanations of what helped them here and in other interviews... Also if you grasp the general idea you can use your own creativity to find out what works for you. Creating a whole program for others to follow takes a lot of time, energy and money (for website maintenance etc), do you expect people to just offer that for free?

If you can’t afford this most major hospitals especially teaching hospitals should have a program like this I believe they have one at A hospital in LA,that I always pretty much pooh-poohed and forgot about. It’s also a long drive from where I live.

I'm jumping out of my skin here because I'm in chronic fight/flight, wanting to get the info but it's impossible. It's like an explosion in my brain every time he hits it. Great interview in and of itself, but can't listen any longer because the mic punching hurts too much.

Although the channel is giving some hope, it’s kinda of disconcerting that all the guests are selling some kind of coaching or other product. Are there any stories of people that just recovered and want to share?
There are lots - the reality is that many people who recover become passionate about helping others (thankfully) so that is a part of their story. But you will definitely find in the dozens of interviews here there are many people who are simply just telling their story. Take the time to go back through those interviews and you will find lots.

Yes it should... If you already at peace then sometimes your symptoms are just habitual and you don't even realize it
I was surprised this video didn’t go more into addressing the limbic system and nervous system - - the subconscious brain, as that is what his program most targets. Yes, they do work on emotional health, and that is very important, but it is the subconscious brain, to my understanding, that gets stuck in a fight or flight state that keeps the body sick, and so it is that part of the subconscious brain, the nervous system and limbic system, that must be changed. Maybe I missed it, but it seemed like he mostly focused on emotions and how we perceive our life during this interview.
Or, perhaps it was just about his experience with how he got well, and maybe for him, it was just positive emotions, but when he started working on helping others, he learned more about the subconscious brain and incorporated that into his program.

how does his program compare to DNRS?
My issue with his retraining program is, he talked about emf, light sensitivity. Well his program is mostly online with his program in bright white light backscreeen. So someone with extreme ligh sensitivity cant do his program which is made for someone with light sensitivity??? 🙄How about a book? with phone sessions. Even thought it may not ba as profitable, books were the instruments used to impart and pass down knowledge before no matter how techinical it was. Im irritated because what he said resonated with me but the program is not doable. Note to Ben if he's reading this. Please use a total black backscreen and off white letters for all CFS content.

53:44 Here he shares a specific exercise to use to retrain your brain to respond calmer to things that trigger us. By repeating this with all kinds of triggers it can help reset our nervous system to "rest and digest" which restores the natural healing properties of our bodies. 🙏🏽
It feels like the body is dying . The doctors up here act like we are crazy . Or lying . Its horrible . They were all like you need to see psych , is home life ok.
Doctors are gaslighting you. They see people with chronic issues on a daily basis then pretend like you’re the only one.

I think it should be. The way I understand it, CFS and fibro are sister diseases. Both have fatigue and pain and brain fog but the LEADING symptom is what makes the diagnosis. For fibro, the pain is the biggest, most debilitating symptom. For CFS, it’s the fatigue. So the principles for recover should really apply to both. Much love.
