Hi I am currently working with Jay and I made huge improvements. From bedbound 24/7 unable to go 10 steps to the bathroom (when I had my first call with him I couldnt even hold my head for more than 2 minutes) to right now chilling after 3 hours long photoshoot in a hotel room planning to go to pick up some food for the editing (I am a photographer), currently on 2-3k steps a day. I am still recovering and experiencing ups and downs but I just all want to let you know that Jay is an amazing, kind, smart and gentle guide. His programm is great but his leading is the best. He really wants you fully better. Especially at the beginning when you feel like there is no end of the suffering he is bringing so much energy and light. 🌟🌟🌟

Also, he arrived with a lot of late, it also can happen. But he was unfriendly, and after telling my story he said he thinks I am not ready (maybe financially he means?) and without empathy and any explanation, he cut the conversation and said goodbye. I remember laying down for meditation during my worst months, and many times I would get back up and feel lighter, like my body was literally stronger. Visualization works
This sounds like cognitive behavioural therapy, which I can see would work. You get so caught up in feeling ill, the hopeless of it that you are in a constant state of stress. You feel so lonely as everyone else gets on with their lives, which exacerbates everything. So I can see that to pull yourself out of the negativity and the stressed state of your body recovery could happen. Thanks for the ray of hope.

There is a small percentage of people with a condition called aphantasia who can't visualize. We literally see only black when we try to visualize and most of us are born with it. All is not lost though when it comes to brain training. If you can't visualize, you can still think about, imagine or feel during brain training sessions. Great video! I just started my brain retraining journey a little less than a month ago and the points he made are what I am implementing in the program I’m doing. I loved hearing the research studies. Our brains are amazing and I can’t wait to be a recovery story! ❤🎉
WOW, I just found you this week Raelan and as I'm experiencing 1 year crash after 10 years of cfs, I've been binging all of the recovery stories and tips while I decide if I need to do a course and which one. I have to say, this is my favourite video so far. Thank you so much Jason, for giving those specific brain retraining examples. You can tell your passion is so genuine and how amazing that you're now helping so many. Thank you for sharing this interview Raelan.
This was incredibly powerful and resinates with me for a huge key to turn to making a full recovery. Thank you so much Raelan and Jason for this mind opening podcast. I also think turning off social media and tuning out the negativity will also greatly help. James
Today is a new year, new opportunities and it will be better than the last. It will be my 4th yr with severe ME/CFS and Ill be joining a brain retraining program this month. My hope is ill comment again this yr to let you know I'm fully recovered. Let's Go 2023!!!! Thanks for all the vids.
Thanks Raelan and Jason and kudos to you, Jason, for describing the nuts and bolts of basic re-wiring. It is knowledge that really should be in the public domain. I have a question for you, Jason: How much does your program cost? I couldn't find this info on your web-site. Thanks again, Barbara.
About $2200 USD. I did Jason's program but it didn't help me at all so I finally gave up. I agree with the above comment to go with Daniel Van L's program. It addresses the core issues much better than regular brain retraining programs do.
I have in long Covid for 7 months, and I started meditating and QiGong on and off a month ago. And that + acupuncture are the only thing so far helped me ❤ thanks for sharing
I did the Lightening Process 20 years ago and while I was there I did feel happier. The basic message is that you are doing it to yourself and need to get out of that mindset. This is all well and good and there was a couple of miraculous recoveries while I was there. But it is very victim-shaming, if you’re not getting better it’s because you are too attached to being an invalid ☹ I think I have done nearly everything on offer and each new piece of information might fit a small piece of the puzzle of why we are so sick and tired. I have Hashimotos and Lupus and with the best will in the world , I will still have them. Finding out which foods I am allergic to was helpful, I did the AIP for six months. I am now free of chronic mouth ulcers which were the absolute bane of my life. I can do stuff most days, but I also rest most days and have lots of days when I only rest. I’m saving up for a fecal transplant as a last resort.
Love your vids and much appreciation . Your audio is so much louder than quests .I don't mind turning up and down on my volume Thu out listening . Worth it to listen.🌺
I wonder if I could start manifesting again because I’m ready for my surgery and I’m gonna think of it positively and I want to be healed and younger again like before I was before Covid oh and I also want to myself without a DDASD or bipolar or without meds and then taught physical condition like I used to be about that
step 3 visualisation. Do you visualise the same thing each time? Or is what you visualise dependant on the thing you stopped in step 1? Thanks for your fantastic videos. 🙂
I'm so excited that I've found this channel! What's incredible to me, is the whole core of this recovery confirms that we are creating our own realities. Not in a " this is your fault " way, but in a " your reality is in your hands, but you just don't realise it " ......we, the soul that is driving this meat pocket ( body ) have limitless evolution / growing/ learning at our fingertips. It starts by opening our eyes and ears, and by paying attention. I hope, in that study about the placebo knee surgery, that they never told the patients that their surgery was not real. I think there might have been horrible relapses, because not every would be able to cope with this knowledge.
I just wanted to let you know that I've learnt so much from your videos. Whenever I'm having a rough time I just stick on one of your videos and it reassures me that I can do this
Hi Alex, I'm so glad to hear that you are finding these helpful! Thanks for taking the time to share that and wishing you all the best with your health journey 💛
Raelan, YES to visualizing for skiing!! I’ve used it in the past for performing at my dream music venue, favourite artists (one almost happened so far), and I healed myself from major vocal issues including severe pain and inability to eat, drink or speak. Anything is possible. 💕
Thank You So Much! This is such an awesome thing you are doing. My Son has been dealing with this for a while now and he sent me this and it is so easy to understand, no extra, just straight to the point. Thank You!
I wish the guest would tell us if they got POTS from viral or other ? Would be helpful and what exact brain retraining program the guest them selves stated with. Thank you
I think it's physical because in most cases, me included, it all started with a viral infection, but brain retraining can start the healing process which is impossible if you stay in your fight or flight. I guess meditation can be more effective than traditional medicine.
Thanks Raelen, always enjoy your videos. I’ve been dealing with long Covid for the past 8 months. Have tried two of the more well known brain retraining programs and unfortunately it just hasn’t helped much. I really want it to work and I believe that it can work but for me it just didn’t help much. Curious to hear from others out there on their experiences with brain retraining. Thanks and happy new year.
It doesn’t work for everyone because it’s more of a “top down” approach. Perhaps you need a “bottom up” approach like somatic experiencing or EMDR. Top down therapy is like CBT or talk therapy (using your “thinking brain”) while bottom up therapies focus more on the body.
@@kirstensuhr7094 I’ve only tried DNRS so I can’t speak for the other programs. The bulk of what you’re doing is telling your brain it’s okay in response to stress. It’s an hour practice everyday where you basically have a script and you’re repeating mantras. There are other little exercises that perhaps may be a little bottom up, but I would say it’s mostly using your “thinking brain”. But top down therapies are necessary and helpful, but for some people, more is needed. I personally don’t think the programs are worth the money, but some people like the guidance and the community it brings. It just depends on what your brain responds to.
Also some people with long c*vid have success using psilocybin. It does boost neuroplasticity. You could try microdosing if you're not up for a trip yet.
Very glad of you're recovery. 🙏,.. Im dying. I had a traumatic life altering change in my life, im not accepting well. I have no will.! No will to live. That should be a prerequisite. I have very bad Depression, anxiety, insomnia, Anhedonia etc. I don't want to die,... but this condition is killing me. I don't do anything, go anywhere... I've lost all interests.... pls 🙏 can anyone? anything help me.??!!
I’m going through something very similar to you for years. I can say I’ve had close to full recovery a few times but crashed multiple times and am in a crash for a few months now. I believe we can recover, just need to find the solution.
I love this! What if your stress response is every time you get up and try to walk? mine gets activated like that. I would have to do that 50 times a day. Does that sound about right? I’d love more info on this program. Thank you!
The same here. Besises CFS, i discovered i have also something called like HIBERNATION syndrome. Like a Russian family who was hibernating during winter, when at those times for some people winter was a time where food was not to be founs. I found in internet a story about a Russian family who had genetically a hibernation gene, if you could say that this way. In my case i finally understand this. It starts in mid september, until may. In this period i feel so stressed when i have to wake up or someone wakes me up. I have to get up, but it was from baby age, up until now. It felt horrible. It is strange, but when i have this period starts, i feel it in my arm muscles. It feels like someone injects me with something in my veins and my muscles. Sticky/heavy/warm. It sounds crazy i know... My CFS started in the summer months when i had that summer 3 ticks on my belly ( red rashes 2x from 2 different ticks at that moment ). My mom removed it with toilet paper. Very quick. I guess this besties vomited their content in my body only by feeling panicking! No antibiotics or doctor or desinfecting. That same period i had also Pfeiffer disease. After i had Pfeiffer ( during and after being cured more or less, i slept all day long ). From there on...my life ended in a way at 12 years old. I am 51 years old now. Hell... But yes, waking up is so much stress for my body, heart, brain. Racing heart and feeling horrible and my heart does not easy come down. Exhausting. Among a plethora of other symptoms and so on. I hope we all will find a way to cure us all.
💛💛 Thank you Jason for sharing so much good info. Listening to this again and again now - I am FINALLY getting it ! ( I heard him say he had tried other BRT programmes b4 he found the one that he recovered with, as did his friend Victoria. Seems it can take some people 2/3 goes at different programmes b4 they heal fully )
I am just trying to think on this good advice being unable to visualize any situation where I could feel safe or relaxed. Is there any way I could work towards desired outcome gradually? There may be many like me while affected by CFS unable to lift up to positive experience. Thanks
Can brain retraining help people going through withdrawal off of prescribed benzodiazapines. Many people are still suffering with debilitating symptoms years after being totally off the medication. By the way, during the withdrawing the symptoms are extremely terrifying and no one seems to know why and doctors also done even believe that benzos cause withdrawal. Thank you for this amazing program today.
So important yes I’ve heard this from a lot of people who’ve been off benzos for years, but they’ve said even years afterwards sometimes they contemplate suicide because their symptoms are so stabilizing and terrifying and the sounds like there’s such a real need for brain retraining I mean in every sense of the word, I wonder how this would work for people with some depression And ADD because for example, the world is very hard for me to live in because of everything that happened is chronic trauma and those neurodivergent conditions and people not believing you and you gaslighting yourself and you trying things and you even going on antidepressants but not being able to changeso it’s a lot of factors not just my mind so I would like to know how this mind stuff would help with that
Jason, I do not have ME/CFS. Does your program work for other types of brain caused issues? I have dysautonomia that caused IBS, profound insomnia and a number of other symptoms. This began after injuries, illness and much stress in my life.
Brain retraining works for a hypersensitive nervous system (which is what ME/CFS is). I will work for the conditions you've listed - and many more, including chronic pain.
Raelan, I second Warren Thorp’s appreciation that you take so much time to put out these videos. I have a question on another note. I see and hear that you are recovered. And then I also hear you list all the many things you are doing: work, exercise, social, and these videos which must take massive amounts of your time including interviewing people to be on your channel ahead of the video interview. It sounds like you are going gung ho all over again. Do you not worry about overdoing it again? You are a lovely, lovely woman. You glow. And you help so many people; no wonder you are glowing.
Hi Gail! Thanks for taking the time to share this and check in on me. I think that is so incredibly thoughtful! The truth is I do worry about burnout and it is something I am slowly actively working on addressing. It's a process for sure!
@@RaelanAgle Do we need to remind you? No really, I have wondered about this more than once. Would you talk to us about your experience with cold showers. Did/do you take an entire shower cold? Or do you start warm and change into cold? How cold? The coldest? Is somewhere between warm and cold acceptable? And did it really help you when you were sick and took cold showers twice in a day?
Hi! 20 yrs ago, I was a former NCAA athlete. Trained and moved fast with intensity to live life to the fullest . I was racing my bike. Band winning offen. Fittest I’d ever been at age 35. Winning races and almost literally one day I woke up and it literally felt like I had just gone to bed after riding 100 miles. Back then, CF was almost laughed at by doctors. Most not recognizing CF but my tiders and symptoms showed it. I went from massive diet changes, exercise adjustments and slow retreat from things I loved to do. I was raising two healthy boys at the same time so- no time to really stop. It was brutal! I remember wishing I had thyroid dysfunction or Hashimotos so at least it was acknowledged. I stumbled on th is program… but I in my own way, found the process, meditation and understood my mental state and wickedly high cortisol levels that were self induced. So happy to see this now for people today! The process is a learning process for the future- after this CF resolves. Bless you all!
Hello Paul, great to hear you enjoyed the interview, I am more than happy to share the cost and everything that is included with you, you can arrange a free chat with me on my website.
I was interested in some similar programs after watching interviews like this, but every time there is no price ,and no matter how good an impression the person has left, I just feel like I can't trust the program 🫤 At least some basic options with prices would be helpful and then if you want more coaching that can be open for later discussion... They are dealing with people who probably haven't been able to work for quite some time, after all. However, I really enjoyed this interview 😊

The 3 steps explained near the end of the video are closely related to the Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS). I am not saying this influence is good or bad & I have no affiliation to DNRS. Some people have been helped by DNRS & some have not.
It’s just a while that relaxation will give us energy and I I honestly wonder about this. I’m on stimulants because I’m very tired and I get very sleepy and my ADD and some other things but I know that being stimulated makes people tired, but I also kind of it I don’t know how to explain that.
I've often wondered why the NHS didn't take on board the teachings of the Optimum Health Clinic, Gupta, Mickel/Reverse Therapy etc with so many people suffering from ME and the absence of any clinics or support systems.
Often when you hear stories about brain retraining people get better within weeks or a couple of months, like Jason. Is this the normal pattern? Am I doing something wrong if I just had minor improvement (but still some) after 2,5 months?
Hello Alex, the essence of how my program works for PEM is 2 things: 1. We deeply relax the nervous system which given a little time naturally restores your energy and stamina, 2. I teach you how to become much more self compassionate rather than being a type A over achiever and pushing yourself too hard. Both of these are essential to fully resolve PEM.
Relaxed and confident - this is the part - how does this translate into reality? Say running - yes relaxed and confident BUT you still need to move and tension comes etc?
It’s so rare to actually see someone put specifics like this in a free video - kudos on doing this!!
You are welcome Neal, yes I agree, more than happy to share more information like this on Raelan's channel in future. People need to know how to heal!

Great video! I just started my brain retraining journey a little less than a month ago and the points he made are what I am implementing in the program I’m doing. I loved hearing the research studies. Our brains are amazing and I can’t wait to be a recovery story! ❤🎉
Glad it was helpful, Logan!
Hey - would you mind sharing what programme yous re doing? And how it is going - thank you :)
How are you doing now?
I suffered constant abuse at jobs bullying etc and my body finally broke down.
Same.
Thanks for this Jason - you are a CHAMP!!!
This was incredibly powerful and resinates with me for a huge key to turn to making a full recovery. Thank you so much Raelan and Jason for this mind opening podcast. I also think turning off social media and tuning out the negativity will also greatly help. James
God Bless You Both!
I hope so
Awesome Chris!! lets make it happen!!
How much is it? I can’t see the price online. Also my fourth (AND LAST!!!) year 🙏🏼
Give us an update..
Please do let us know if it's helping you. 🙏
Bedankt
Thank you so much, Karin!
Look up the program of Daniel Van Loosbroek :) It uses both brain retraining and emotional and Somatic work. The price is based on donation 🙂
About $2200 USD. I did Jason's program but it didn't help me at all so I finally gave up. I agree with the above comment to go with Daniel Van L's program. It addresses the core issues much better than regular brain retraining programs do.
Thanks
Much appreciated, Angelina! 🧡 🧡
Thank you for this interview! 🙏
What a godsend. I now know i have me/cfs and know what to do about it. Its been 8 looooong years
I have in long Covid for 7 months, and I started meditating and QiGong on and off a month ago. And that + acupuncture are the only thing so far helped me ❤ thanks for sharing
How are you doing now ?
I remember Jason in a recovery group from year ago. I also did theLightning Process eight years ago. Glad it had an amazing results for him 😊
Did it help you?
I did the Lightening Process 20 years ago and while I was there I did feel happier. The basic message is that you are doing it to yourself and need to get out of that mindset. This is all well and good and there was a couple of miraculous recoveries while I was there. But it is very victim-shaming, if you’re not getting better it’s because you are too attached to being an invalid ☹
I think I have done nearly everything on offer and each new piece of information might fit a small piece of the puzzle of why we are so sick and tired.
This was incredibly helpful thank you so so much 🙏🏻🌞 brain retraining often feels so overwhelming and confusing and you just made it so simple ❤️

I wonder if I could start manifesting again because I’m ready for my surgery and I’m gonna think of it positively and I want to be healed and younger again like before I was before Covid oh and I also want to myself without a DDASD or bipolar or without meds and then taught physical condition like I used to be about that
@@visionvixxen your sentence was very run-on but how did your surgery go, snd how are you doing now?
step 3 visualisation.

Wonderful!
I wish the guest would tell us if they got POTS from viral or other ? Would be helpful and what exact brain retraining program the guest them selves stated with. Thank you
Well done! Thank you!
I think it's physical because in most cases, me included, it all started with a viral infection, but brain retraining can start the healing process which is impossible if you stay in your fight or flight. I guess meditation can be more effective than traditional medicine.
Definitely physical, but there is a commonality of trauma, either before the illness, or afterwards....including being treated unhelpfully by doctors.
It is physical, just like Ebstein Barr virus affects the glands so does covid and the vaccine attack the nervous system.
@@rachd4794 Does the Programm " only" have top down exercises?
Have tried micro dosing with some positive results. Will continue to experiment with this. Thanks.
This was such an amazing video . Thank you so much ❤

Such an incredibly sad story. 😥
I hope you find something that helps. 🙏
I have a TBI and I was curious as to whether or not I could get any help in regards to this matter.
I love everything about this video. Thank you!!

💛💛 Thank you Jason for sharing so much good info. Listening to this again and again now - I am FINALLY getting it ! Does the immune suppression from chronic stress allow for EBV reactivation? If so, can EBV become dormant without antivirals?
I am not much placebo sensitive.
I inmediately know if there is nothing in it ( a placebo ) and something in it.
The Brains Way of Healing deals with serious conditions like Parkinsons etc.

Wonderful interview so full of information. I wish I knew all this 20 years ago.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Chris 🧡🧡
What if you don't remember what it feels like to be relaxed? Just visualize how you think it will feel?

Hello Paul, great to hear you enjoyed the interview, I am more than happy to share the cost and everything that is included with you, you can arrange a free chat with me on my website.
Glad you found it helpful, Paul!
I agree it would be good to see pricing first to see if it's affordable before booking a chat.
Yes me too, it is a lot of energy and effort oto go through to realise you can’t afford it
I was interested in some similar programs after watching interviews like this, but every time there is no price ,and no matter how good an impression the person has left, I just feel like I can't trust the program 🫤 At least some basic options with prices would be helpful and then if you want more coaching that can be open for later discussion... They are dealing with people who probably haven't been able to work for quite some time, after all.
However, I really enjoyed this interview 😊

It’s just a while that relaxation will give us energy and I I honestly wonder about this. I’m on stimulants because I’m very tired and I get very sleepy and my ADD and some other things but I know that being stimulated makes people tired, but I also kind of it I don’t know how to explain that.
I've often wondered why the NHS didn't take on board the teachings of the Optimum Health Clinic, Gupta, Mickel/Reverse Therapy etc with so many people suffering from ME and the absence of any clinics or support systems.

How long should we be doing visualizations each day?
Often when you hear stories about brain retraining people get better within weeks or a couple of months, like Jason. Is this the normal pattern? Am I doing something wrong if I just had minor improvement (but still some) after 2,5 months?

If you don't mind me asking Jason. How did brain retraining work for PEM?
Hello Alex, the essence of how my program works for PEM is 2 things: 1. We deeply relax the nervous system which given a little time naturally restores your energy and stamina, 2. I teach you how to become much more self compassionate rather than being a type A over achiever and pushing yourself too hard. Both of these are essential to fully resolve PEM.
What is PEM ?
