    People do not understand how much importance weight management holds in a motorcycle. And I think Honda is doing very good in this field for all their bikes. I rode my friends CB350 and it is way way easier to ride compared to my classic 350. I kinda started regretting my decision to own RE after I rode that bike. Just this weight management can completely change the character of the bike and I agree with Bulu bhaiya on the points he discussed in his video.

      Yes sir weight management is the actual engineering in Bikes, for example is the Goldwing, its 430kgs but while riding feels like a small bike to ride

      But don't you feel it should have more low end torque , I was frustrated to know that you can't ride on low speed on higher gears like RE bikes . I can easily ride on 40-50s on 6th gear on int650

      @@unnikrishnannambiar3904 you can , try it on Classic 350 . 40KMPH on top gear is easily possible .

    Very happy that a TH-camr is finally talking about the importance of weight management because it is the most important quality dealt with on a daily basis. I am happy that you put a great emphasis on practicality rather than many useless factors as done by instagrammers(not riders). You are a true rider. I am tired of telling people that RE bikes simply put unnecessary strain in handling the bike when the engine is cut-off.

      After owning gt and classic 500 for years, recently upgraded to interceptor and H'ness,,,,I can surely confirm that RE is no where in comparison with Legends like Honda...
      RE is just another piece of iron with stupid emotion and chunk of problems every now and then with mediocre service experience....
      Honda has good research wing that puts lots of expertise which reflects in the bikes out....
      Just don't teach me about RE....
      Looking forward to sell of interceptor and go for transalp...

    New to your channel and really enjoyed how well you explained every small detail you explained and how you explained it, such small things matter when buying such kinda expensive bikes. probably best review on nx500 imo. but I think twin cylinder has very different feel compared to single cylinder some might disagree but I strongly believe that.

You are doing them a favour if you ask me, not many with RE will have the guts to tell them the truth 😊👍 Be frank, be bold, be loyal to your viewers and we shall keep loving you and your content always, like they say- Bash on Regardless. 😎👍

    Bulu I rode the previous model & was getting a lot of wind buffeting at speeds above 125 km/hr my height is 5ft11 in or 178 cm. Can you please comment on this topic please. I was using the Schuberth C4 pro ⛑️ so I did have a good aerodynamic helmet. This is only thing that has kept me from buying this bike. I need a bike that can I can cruise at 130 /140 km /hr for 100 + km in a stretch. The other option is CB650R but that does not have luggage carrying possibilities like the NX & more sporty riding position & more expensive to buy maintain, heavier etc. I have not yet tried the 750 NC which i think will also be a good option for my needs.

I don't think getting a bash plate for this is easy. And since it is a CBU, in case any parts need replacement in guessing we'll need to wait for a long time.
    Like you rightly said.. NX500 is a small, big bike. Whereas the 450 and 390 are big, small bikes. You made a good point.

      Considering our road conditions especially during monsoon, you're far safer on an adventure bike especially on long rides with a pillion. You don't have to worry about potholes, crazy road humps and rough patches of roads. Even during minor floods you're safe. These bikes only have weight disadvantage but Honda has solved this issue. Ye Gaadi actually best bike hai hamare country ke roads ke liye. I just wish it was below 6 lacs.

    This feels closer in size and feel to the ADV 390 than the Himalayan. All other flaws aside, the Himalayan feels a lot more substantial to ride. After seeing the NX, it made me want the Transalp even more. Save up for a few more years and go directly for the Transalp. That's a more complete motorcycle and reasonably priced amongst its competition.

      You'll be shifting to a completely new category of bikes, which is an ADV. You might want to try riding a similar bike like a KTM 390. Because the height, the weight balance, power delivery is completely different that the 350rs.

    2. WHAT IS THE REQUIRED JOB ON EACH SERVICE.
    3. WHAT IS THE PRICE OF VARIOUS CONSUMABLES THAT ARE MANDATORILY CHANGED or ADDED ON ANY SERVICE.

      Naah I don't think I have said anything bad about RE, its just practical points we have discussed which even they would feel reasonable

  • @95Ar98
    @95Ar98 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Every bike and its brand has its characteristics, Honda is the master of reliability, and quality, there is no doubt about it. That being said RE is has its own characteristics, its consumers like metal, chrome, vibration and heaviness, of the machine. I remember people of my father's generation saying that the RE classic model released nowdays is lighter than the ones they bought in the 1980~90's, sound is not satisfying etc etc. so the comparison between RE and honda is between apples to oranges. There is no point in doing so!!!! Also Bulu da has a bias against RE which he himself mentions, so he disliking RE and nitpicking about them is also normal. Ultimately we must keep in mind about the price difference between these two motorcycle. Thus, proving that comparing these two is completely idiotic and makes no sense.
    Also if people think that a bike shouldn't have engine noise and have no vibration on the bike's body, then what would they say about BMW's boxers?? are they engineered less?? do they have less R&D done to them??

    Bullu bhai I have not owned a bike in 30 years and have lived abroad. But rented a moto cross whenever I was traveling to far eastern countries. Love the off road and trails but never hard core. Did the Leh circuit on himmy 411 and I loved the ride. Now living permanently in india I want to buy just one bike to do adventure and also long rides am not so young at 60 but can outride a 30 year old for a fun ride. I had confidence issues in himmy when I did solo like parking retrieval and in very slow speed in trail the bike did not balance well. I never fell but was challenging. So I thought maybe it’s me who can’t handle the balance in trails in himmy. Now I see it’s possible to overcome with a better engineered bike. So what do I suggest for me. Second question is solo riding not recommended for longer rides like Delhi to Goa for example. Some people said always travel in group. How do you find groups in india. Sorry for two long questions

    • @BuluBiker
      @BuluBiker  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi sir that is exactly where u need a bike that feels light n practical. Sir highway solo rides r not an issue but plz ride only from morning 6 to evening 6 n share live location with Family. Take a RSA support for whichever bike u buy.
      Never discuss too much where u stop for food, drinks etc, just try to be reserve n if anyone asks u anything, just say we r a group of five people n I am the faster one so waiting for others to arrive... these things should be good.
      Everything is good when u r on highways like Delhi n Goa. Its safe.
      Do not take shortcut roots to save time.
      But still its better to be with one more rider, that will make the Journey little more fun with an intercom u can have lots of motorcycle discussions 😁

      Much obliged for a detailed answer. I will test the NX and hold the Himmy. You know I tested the Xpulse and it was amazing fun. I did silly things with so much ease with it. Will love to have that also in the garage. But if I buy NX no budget to buy another😅. Your tips on solo on not sharing are an eye opener. How do I get to ride in groups as I don’t know anyone. who rides. Live sharing 🤔 don’t have anyone left to share anything in life now.

    if Honda offers free accessories like crash guard, sump guard, top rack and provides 2 more free services than standard, it will be good alternative it can offer if they cannot reduce price by 80k, would they do it? basically person who is stretching limit upto 7.5l and does not buy say crash guard and drops, the poor guy has to start new expenses beyond stretch and if he does buy accessories its still another 80k on top of stretch.
