As a owner of H450, Bulu bhai himalayan seat is really good man. You don't need a touring seat. Its already softer side i have to harden it a Lil by adding seat cover. Do you really need more softer foam seat than the stock for tour which will worsen long ride experiance in soft set of seats. And if mobile is off still it give accurate directions not full map though no charging drop no heat of phone. Heat of engine we can feel. Eco mode good for city and trails feel lil more torque minus top end below 4th gear. Cone set they came with different thread thats solved issue. And tubeless rims are around 20-25k max not 50k as your expectating. Obviously balancing of weightt but only on stand still. Nx500 obviously better quality which you have to pay much more for it.

2023 i was in ladakh going from Dubruk to Hunder. The roads are not there as lot of roadworks is going on. It was far worse than when i had gone in 2021 but i twas a lot of fun. At one place i was riding and climbed up a road carved on the side of themountain. Imagine roack below, on the side and on top. And suddenly i saw the road was blocked with a huge pile of rocks and on the other side of that pile was a jcb carving out the road. I was terrified cos the vibrations from the jcb could've made the rocks become loose and fall on my head. I turned around in 20 seconds and was out of there. Why i cou,d do it so quickly was cos i was on my xpulse. Its such a lightweight bike and i carry minimal luggage. My friend was on his 390 adv and took around a minute to turn around as the path was around 6 ft max width. Imagine a big adv in that situation.
I dislike highway rides so i am content with low weight bikes like my xpulse. I also plnnec t9 get the 390 but somehow i didnt like it. Ill pick up the himy 450 now which for me will serve all purposes. And maybe he upcoming 390 ad which is now being tested.
I have many friends who have big bikes and all they do is highway rides once a month or so. Apart fro the happiness of owning such a bike, i dont see the point of big bikes.
Buy lighter bikes, have lighter luggage and enjoy riding.

had int650, sold it due to bad weight balancing and poor quality. now riding tiger 850. sometimes I stall it in traffic in 2nd or 3rd gear as I was used to low end torque of int650. also tiger is bs6 where as int650 was bs4, may be bs6 bikes use fuel in much more controlled way.

I can agree with bulu bhai i have re classic in hills when we rotate our bike than the wheel got lock in down hill and at that time the tcs traction control feature is use it is very useful feature
Bullu bhai is fav as always, only small input towards the host from my side is that before saying things should do proper home work..Dakar rally is dominated by KTM and second is Yamha,Honda is as good as it gets but the above mentioned statement is kinda incorrect..i believe in constructive criticism so i hope i didn't offend anybody,nice informative video by the way keep up the good work 👍🏻

I ardently follow Bullu Bhai. a 40 bhper makes absolute sense for Indian roads. Now its the electronics that the manufacturers will compete on. TVS has already introduced a suite of electronics on the 310 rtr. Only a matter of time that their ADV will also bear those.
What about the spare parts availablity in respect to how soon we'll get it

Honda is good but can honda give adv bikes with a power around 40-48 bhp? In the price point of himalayan ?
thats the million dollar question, Comparing these two motorcycles is like comparing apples to oranges, makes no sense. Also RE buyers want the heaviness and the thudding noise, vibration, of the motorcycle. Is it good or bad its up to them, but this guy bought a bike 2.5 times the price of the Himalayan and then compared the quality, of its ergonomics screw, bolts etc etc...

Also most of the ADV bikes that has gone through immense R&D and good engineering has top heavy motorcycle. E.g.: BMW GSA 1250 and other boxers, Harley Davidson's ADV... that top heaviness is the characteristics of the bike. Can't the BMW engineers make a ergonomic bike? its not always about the engineering.. the brand must comply with the characteristics of the bike they produce. If tomorrow Re changes the himalayn and make something like the ktm adv390, do you think the re lovers will buy that?? for them it will be like shit!!
I think the lifting issue with himalayan is that the suspension moves way deep so the effort we put for lifting goes directly to suspension dive and so it wont lift whereas the honda being little more stiff does not have that issue

For himalyan true comparison is 390, 400x. Thats it. I have here in canada f800r and ninja 650. In india interceptor. I cant compare. Can u took ur honda worth 700k to local mechanic?? Himalayan can be managed by local mechanic. Spares not available outside and easy available. U agree or not but wrong comparison.

Watched entire video. I own 390 adv. I ride 90% in city and 10 % on highways. Will you suggest me Honda NX 500???
I think both miscalculated:
Himalayan: 3.5 lacs on-road (Coimbatore)
NX500: 7.0 lacs on-road
Difference: 3.5 lacs
Even after tubeless rims are installed in Himalayan later the difference is still 3 lac rupees. Significant significant difference.

I need a vehicle which is durable and value for money and i am looking for one with pillion comfort too as I will not be travelling solo. I am hearing ride comfort is not that good in Adv 390 X.

Bullu jee.... From Himachal.... Have seen ur youtubings on honda nx 500....had booked one.... But.... got the list of accessories..... The prices are exorbitant.... Essentials like crash guard (+35k) , centre stand (+15.5k), fog lights (+20k), engine guard, knucle guard etc etc depicted therein take the price of a 470 cc bike in excess of 7.0 L to +9 L..... Was keen to understand that - - does the exorbitant accessory price make the bike worth that price or can the accessories be ignored or can we get the accessories from open market at cheaper price?????
I think its better to wait for accessories from Indian brands, they would come cheap.. even I am waiting for alternatives :)

Till then you can use groller which is alternative for centre stand usefull for chain lube and clean. Costs 750/-

Bhai😅 you reminded me of my ride in lower Mustang, it was pitch dark at night when i fell in the muddy road and my partner was ahead. I stayed as is for 10 min in the slippery mud until I received assistance.

at first glance i liked honda nx 500 but after hearing the price i stepped back from my thoughts. Honda should reduce the price so that this bike can be seen everywhere in Indian roads. they should price this bike like cb 350 and highness when compared to re reborn classic 350 and bullet 350. honda can produce 250 to 350 or 350 to 450 cc adv bikes with reasonable cost.

There is no comparison. The prices aren't even close. When it comes to road touring, the NX obviously has an advantage due to its twin engine. The H450 is, however, far superior off road.
I want to learn some advanced riding skill. Plz suggest some good places for that purpose.
Big rock, motofarm or trible adventure. All this places are in Bangalore and they have good trainers along with bikes

I own a KTM 390 Adv since March 2020. During the test ride, I rejected the Himalayan 450 the moment i felt the weight just getting the bike to get off the stand ! 😂

Come on... nX500 is officially not meant for off road but only slight off road.. Look at GC... Naturally when u have a low slung engine and the fulcrum point which is the handle bar is far away from the weight... Naturally you can lift the weight easily.. This is physics... Ask Hknda to bring the engine raised a bit more which will increase GC and then u will feel it is same as RE... And when u have a twin cylinder naturally they balance out the vibrations... Ans how do u expect the RE to have less vibrations when it is a single cylinder.... Come on guys if you are trying to talk about quality and engineering then u need to go to the core rather than trying to do tye balme game on RE...

This comparison is totally unjustified. Considering the price tag i only can say that if i dont have that much cash flow then i would prefer buying two himalayan one for me and one for my brother. And i will be way too happy then riding nx500 solo. I am not big fan of re. Although i owe one himalayan 450 too but if i would had done some more research then would have purchased vstrom250. Only i can complain with this 450 is no tubrless setup....
This is not a comparison. Its more about the motorcycle under 500c and what are the options in the adv segment with there pro's and con's along with ownership experience
