@saurabhtewari9920 I am 56, have had 3 RE products : Bullet (1994-1997), Bullet again (2006- 2016) and Himalayan 411 (2018- 2022). First one was simply terrible and it was belonging more to the guarage than to our parking lot. Second was somewhat better fortunately (purely luckily) and the third one was again replete with all sorts of issues piling up my frustration with RE products (but we hardly had any other option if we wanted to ride other than 100-150 cc bikes then. My father started with 1974 made Yezdi 250, till 1994. I drove it between 1986 and 1994. That was built like a gun and hadn't failed us ever. I couldn't love any other bike more than old Yezdi 250. Last RE product Himalayan 411 made me realise forever that RE is off the shelf for us. Now, we have multiple options, ranging from Triumph, Suzuki, Honda, KTM etc. Now gunning for 2025 KTM 390 for continuing the riding sojourn. No RE again, ever!!!!😡
In 2014 I had 2 options the newly launched KTM 390 duke and second was the classic desert storm. I went with my heart cuz I had been obsessed with RE. Feels bad that RE left such a huge design flaw in the Himalayan 450. Crash Guard or not it is a flaw and RE has to accept it. I upgraded to a 390 ADV last year and have been extremely happy with it.
I have RE thunderbird 350 BS4. Though i didnt face any major issues. But looking at all those videos made me decide i aint gonna buy an RE bike anymore. i am gonna move straight to KTM ADV.
@@_P_T_H_ Here I too owned a Thunderbird BS4 model I faced many problems with wiring and not crossing 80 kmph during certain times. I bought a Mahindra Mojo BS6 and now I am happy with my motorcycle. That Thunderbird was a headache I must admit.
RE has i am superior attitude they will not accept flaw in Himalayan 450 as they did before for other bikes. People are buying RE because of low price. Actually Chasis breaking is very serious flaw. Just dont buy RE bikes and be safe.
I cant imagine going for a ride on Himalayan 450, and bychance suddenly chassis broke on a down hill lane leading you straight down 500 ft below until you take your last breath and die.
RE is not cheap by any cost... In the contrary it is overpriced. The price of Classic 350 should not be more than 1.5 lakh if quality is to be considered.
I was patiently wait for something to happen to 450 himalayan. And these happen just like pervious bike. Thank God I didn't buy this bike out of excitement. 😊
Thank you, @Bulubiker , for 3:01 highlighting our video . Right now, the bike is at the showroom undergoing R&D, and Royal Enfield is also requesting us to take down the video
Thank you for this much needed video. The difference in booking experience is very evident when you go to a RE, KTM vs a brand like Honda. As you rightly said that we need to look at it as a machine and not with so much emotions that the brand might use against us. I'd booked a Himalayan in December and had to cancel it later because the response from the salesman to all the issues pointed on the internet was "Its RE, what to do". I feel RE should realize that they are no longer selling 1 lakh rupee Bullets and Classics alone. Only prices have increased, customer service behavior remains the same.
Coneset issue plus frequently failing RR-Unit issue as well. I've ridden my INT650 for 25k kms and within this 3 RR-Units have failed and I'm currently running 4th RR-Unit. First one failed at 5,000 kms Second failed at 11,000 kms Third failed at 23,000 kms First two were replaced under warranty but third one failed after warranty was over hence I had to pay 2,400 rupees for the same. I've got no electrical mods or anything additional installed on my bike ever and RE Service center could never comeup with a reason for this frequent failure.
@@laxmikantgs7863 Regulator Rectifier Unit - It basically converts AC current to DC current and passes it to the battery... If it fails then the battery won't get charged and eventually you'd end up with a dead battery.
Pehla wala jo chassis tuta usme maanta hun ki aftermarket accessories ke wajah se tuta. Lekin dusre wala himalayan pe toh koi accessory laga hi nahi, wo kaise tuta? Uska excuse kya hai?
I had 2-3 very nasty falls on my avenger 220. Crash guard was bent but there was never a scratch on the chasis. RE bikes r definitely of poor quality as compared to bajaj.
I think it's an alloy issue on the frame, they don't know what kind of combination to use for better stress tolerance on chasis they used their normal frames instead of alluminium, steel etc.
Triumph ka bhi swing arm toota tha yaad h na...cheezon ko objectively dekhna chahiye....biases pr nhi chlna chahiye koi kuch bhi bolta honoune...or acc to bulubuy only honda....70k re bikes bikti h har mahine...itni unreliable hoti to log lete nhi2.5 3 lakh lagane wale soch samajh kr hi lete h
RE needs to up its game. I just bought a Honda CB 350 after wanting a Meteor 350 for a good part of a year. RE just doesn't match up to the competition. They are cheap bikes.
Same here brother proud owner of CB 350, went to buy bullet 350 but they had no tubeless tyre and they were least bothered to provide me with it and when i insisted they were charging me 17000rs, so i went to honda and bought CB350.
Well done, you potentially dodged a bullet. Meteor 350 owner here. I've spent 40k replacing all the electronic components that failed me just outside of warranty. And it's still not resolved. Best go with reliable japanese brands
bulu bhai, I am also a Himalayan 450 owner, I bought the bike in January this year and took it to Nepal in March, after that I also went to Chardham in June, the crash guard was installed the next day I bought the bike, 15 thousand plus kilometers. My bike is running, I haven't faced any problem yet
Bhai 390 ka tank crack ke baare me baat karo thoda. A rider almost lost his life, he couldn't fight with the brand and he gave with major burn injuries. I was one among the people whose tank got cracked within 1 year. Also the 390 Adv still has issues, you just may not have encountered those or you just don't want to talk.
By that logic companies will have to take responsibility of all accidents. Fire caused by an impact is way different than chasis breaking mid way. As an owner it's the riders responsibility to inspect the leakages before hitting long rides. My 390 ADVs metzelers developed cracks. KTM happily replaced those for free even after the warranty ended. However, I lost 3 months of my riding life because I was too cautious about using a bike with a possible hazard.
a motorcycle made for hardcore off road needs a proper cradle chassis below the engine like the Himalayan 411. if the engine is taking all the load instead cradle frame then you need a solid beam under the tank, like the motocross bikes. in case of Himalayan 450, the beam under the tank is too weak . I think this is a serious design flaw and in the coming days and months this will be proved to be true. best of luck to Royal Enfield .
Until and unless People start to give importance to quality and stop going behind emotions. RE will not change . If any complaints happen we cannot fight against them in court.only thing we can do is to stop investing your hard earned money in Their products. Me too had several quality and reliability issues with My INT 650. If we say Any complaints they will say its common in all bikes. We indians as majority of the middle class and we always look for the best option available in our budget , fall into their advertisement gimmicks and their false heritage selling ads and we compromise on quality. Its because of Honda and Triumph they have at least tried something . Otherwise They still won't bring any improvement. It's high time. we should start giving importance to quality.
Thank God I bought the Triumph scrambler 400 x instead. Re hasn't even brought the much promised Tubeless tyres till now... It'll be almost 1 yr now since launch.
Yup most adv riders don't go off-roading, it's just a status thing, tubeless tyres and a scrambler is sufficient for most people who only do City rides and a few occasional highway rides.
Bulu bhai himalayan chalauchanti ki nahi.. After one year kan feedback gadi ra.. ?Vstorm 250 and Himalayan bhitare confusion ki kauta thik haba. High way touring pain. Reliable kau bike haba..? Bhai please suggest 😊
I was initially planning to buy interceptor 650 back in 2021 then after test ride it came to my head that this bike will be an issue and went with my instinct and baught 2021 390adv and it’s been an absolute blast last 3yrs and 60km across India with no major issue and still enjoy to day an absolute fun machine. A big namaskaram to RE and their test team , The him450 is new to the market and barely anybody has done 10k km till now but my gutt feeling says once buyers munch more miles on the him450 they will definitely witness far more major issues which can be dangerous as bullu bhai said it’s too early to say but 6months to an year down the line we will see more such issues.Hopefully RE takes this issue seriously in time.
🫨Now I'm confused... I couldn't understand your language well but, can understand the issues with Himalayan 450, but for the past 10months I'm planning to buy RE himalayan and now next month i planned to book one. Should i choose this or go with other option ?
Royal Enfield is a pathetic company, they doesn't adress customer request and reviews, I had one electra back in 2020 after 500 km it gave me so much trouble and so much headache, had to sell it after 1 year. I'm never going to buy any Royal Enfield product in future nor I would recommend anyone to buy any Royal Enfield product.
This is the main reason I opted for Triumph; RE just making business on emotions and brand loyalty. People should understand RE is a mediocre company, making business only on the basis of emotions; and these Triumph, KTM bikes are manufactured by Bajaj so INDIAN MANUFACTURING IS NOT AN ISSUE, RE is the issue.
Yes u have been saying this for ever. That guy sidharth lal has successfully embedded this thinking into our people that owning an RE makes you rich makes you royal makes you badass 😂 and the crazy part is people actually believe this
It has been too long since you discussed a real and important issue of biker community, really nice to see it happen. Hope to see worrisome issues discussed and all riders clear their emotions by putting some thought. If not everything stays in and there won't be any clarity. Thanku for this thoughtful one.
He will claim anything now. That's the condition the manufacturer might have put to cover it under warranty. The video was also asked to be taken down. Not the owners fault. I would have done the same. Not all are crusaders like Bullu Bhai 🙇
Hey genius people could have removed the crash guard before taking the photo did you ever think of that? Besides person posting the photo says they used after market crash guard

Bought xpulse because I don't want broken chassis bike, I do jumps on sand and asphalt both and my xpulse is still intact. RE is stupid for giving subpar product to customer for high prices.
Thanks sir for the information. Can you please help me choose between interceptor 650 and Himalayan 450 bike?which is better?or just go with honda highness cb350rs (but low on power)to avoid any such issues?
Most Indian brands suffer from design and manufacturing flaws. Take for example RE, Tata, Mahindra, Hero, TVS, Bajaj etc. Indian brands need to go a long way to compete with international foreign brands to match their superior quality and durability. That's why it's prudent to go for international renowned brands when it comes to automobiles which can give you peace of mind and long term reliability🫰🏽
@@RockyVlogss Tata and Mahindra provide excellent build quality. There's no doubting that. But they face many technical and mechanical glitches in which respect their competitor brands are far superior to them. Brands like Hyundai, Kia, VW, Škoda, Suzuki, Renault, Cïtroen etc. are have superior levels of durability and reliability when compared to these Indian brands.
@@RockyVlogss In terms of building reliable engines no one can match germans and japanese, and tata and mahindra are never successful with lmv engines.
The white royal Enfield had crash guard installed. RE blamed it for the chasis break. But what was the exact reason for this black Himalayan? And are they covering this under warranty?
This particular motorcycle you can see the missing bolt that connects the chassis to the engine. the weight and vibration of the engine without the supporting bolt may have caused the chassis break.
Thank you for being honest brother, even many famous bike reviewers/ podcast shows are supporting the brand instead of understanding the customers pain and what he is going through. Many people buy 4 lakh bikes with emi and loans and it'll be heartbroken for them to see their dream machine breaking down or even causing more dangerous issues within a few months after purchase. Loyal fans only see the perspective of the brand not the perspective of the heartbroken customer. Thank you for viewing this in the perspective of the customer. It doesn't matter which brand it is if there is a fault in the product the consumer must have the voice to point that out.
bhai recently i did goa to ladakh ride with heavy luggage even bike fell till 3-4times and on rummbler we never slow down on full ride and my bike is loaded with gaurds and all touring accessories till now my bike run 12000km and its even hanle black
That's not the point. So many bikes are sold. How many actually break? So many houses are constructed but how many actually fall? You actually get to know about the construction quality only in a perfect storm or earthquake. Same with the bike. The point is that you need to encounter exact same condition and variables to experience the breakage. Which you never know when. It could be tomorrow or after 5 years or never.
@@virajvrooms his chassis has broken because chassis bolt. Was already fallen which hold engine as a stress membrane so chassi has broken at weak point as all the load come on chassi after engine bolt was fallen

Such well informed video. As you're using Scram 400, do you have any recommendations for a crash guard? Is the oem ones good enough to protect the bike and maybe your leg?
Cone set and cage bearing problem is the problem I faced in my 411 from day 1 which I bought back in 2020 January.. service centre and showroom didn't gave me any warranty and told me it becomes better with time.. at that time I was a first time RE owner.. but this problem persisted for 2 years.. now I service my motorcycle in a third party garage and I have to say I am really happy.. 200 km rides no problem.. service centres just makes ways for making money from customer and not solve their problems.. so I request other RE owners to find better mechanics outside these fraud centres..
@bulu pattnaik sir, Kiran here from Hubli, please tell me about your Himalayan 450 bike, are you facing some issue in Tripper dash screen? I do own himalayan 450 but facing some problem in Tripper dash screen, while riding trip 1 & 2 gets reset automatically, it automatically get troggles up and down.
There's extra stress on the right side of the chassis because of how the suspension on Himalayan 450 is setup. One suspension is for rebound and one suspension is for damping (SFF - Separate Fork Function), hence the little twist of the chasis which causes extra stress on that region of the chassis.
as a mechanical engineer, the intent of RE is to reduce cost of material which affects Factor of Safety which ultimately leads to failure at lower loads.

I(owned 2 RE bikes before) don't like RE, still I bought the Himalayan 450 and completed 9.5k kms with touring and offroad trails. will be pushing further. definitely it's not a quality machine but it does the job. now would I recommend it for longer run, NO. would I recommend for temporary fun, definitely yes. but I think this will be my final product from RE. finally getting tired of incomplete product quality.
@MrWasim17 purpose? we should analyse the purpose of the vehicle. mostly city, some touring and some offroad go with scram. some city, some offroad, long touring get the him450. attending trails every other weekend and leaning towards learning offroad skills, get the ktm390 2025. I'm thinking of selling my him450 once I can get some test rides of 390.

Did you remove the crash guard? It is part of the structure. The remaining frame will fail if you remove the crash guard and continue to ride it. This is an intentional part of the design to save weight and reduce seat height and the evidence of this is that it requires a special coupler. This failure has only occurred on two bikes both of which had removed the crash guard.
Thoroughly agree with you about customers being not fanatical with brands. The worry today is tata car buyers being too fanatical with their mediocre cars which lack many things. Competition is good for customers.

Bulu da, you're the only one who is standing with the customer. All others towed the brand line. The chassis broken bikes didn't go through a crash. They broke under passenger weight. RE cuts corners and they should be held accountable. Great video 🫡
I own 450... I want to install the crash gaurd so I'm following this very closely. What I have understood is that crash gaurd in whole is not the issue. Issue is with the bolts comes with it. The strength of the bolts may differ from the original bolts.
Where is the crash guard in picture? If you see the cut portion ,it is symmetric, no bend on the rod.... why? Do you think owner of the bike is in favour of after market crash guard brand and that's why he removed the crash guard before taking pictures?
Kuch RE fans in sabko defend karte hai...I myself is Himalayan owner after 6k kms cone set problem handle jam and same problem with interceptor quality is never going to be improved in RE..
I know 3 cases of chasis break in UCE 350 bikes. Without any crash. There may be more cases like this but we might not know about it. 2 cases we know because it is in social media. When I test ride meteor 350 from showroom it had hauling soud from engine sometimes louder than exhaust that bike was only 14000 on odo. I drop the plan and bought Japanese machine. 😂 I am completely satisfied in it. My another colleague bought hunter it's ECU failed while riding it is 1 year old bike. Also have some bad noise from engine another hunter does not have that noise.
I owned a RE Thunderbird 500 - August 2013 model - an unreliable bike to say the least. Was never confident of riding the bike even for short distances. Got rid of it in January 2023 and opted for the Honda H’ness CB 350 DLX PRO version. This is now my go to vehicle - it is a pleasure to ride. Reliability and ride quality are heavens apart when compared to the Thunderbird 500. Overall a better bike by miles.

If you talk against / criticized RE, your video will be removed by a strike. That's all. 🤷🏻♂️ I really didn't expect this issue on new RE 450, which is currently my Dream Adv. Bike. Hope RE will pause the current manufacturing, find out what's wrong and implement it accordingly in upcoming batches. Despite of all this, I will still choose Himalayan 450 because I belive in RE, but if this things happen often & RE isn't taking strong steps taking this constructive criticism, Then I might have to reconsider my decision 😐 👎🏼
I bought a Suzuki Gixxer in 2015 April and it has lot of issues like tank rusted 3 times even after getting it replaced in warranty and the Magneto coil still leaks oil despite changing the gasket and coil too, even exhaust has been replaced as well and I had the panels plastic chipping and it as also replaced in warranty but there is no issue right now except for the corrosion in tank and the Magneto coil leakage also in October 2015 I had to replace it's rear shock absorber cause it was leaking badly and it lost its compression, anyways I had Honda stunner and in the 4yrs of ownership never had such issues, but times have change Honda is also not the same anymore these days, also no brand is perfect every brand will have some lemon out of production once in blue moon
Mr. Pattnaik, I'm one of your big fans; but this kind of videos are not accepted from you at all. I just don't understand why you are trying to defend Royal Enfield for this serious life killing issue! Breaking of chassis of a motorcycle and that of in a running condition is a damn serious issue at any point of time. So, definitely there is a serious fault on the part of the Company. A customer has the right to install accessories along with crash-guards on his/her motorcycle, but that doesn't mean that it's the reason for the chassis break. Why does a customer install a crash-guard? For the purpose of safety mainly. Because RE doesn't provide same or any other accessory with their motorcycle in such cheaper price. So, customers don't have any other choice left than to buy aftermarket crash-guards and/or accessories to save their own lives. A life is more precious than a motorcycle, whether it's a costly one or economic. With this they need to save their motorcycle too. Because mostly people do have a single motorcycle and they do purchase that with their hard-earned money to fulfill their dream of having a good motorcycle. Everyone doesn't have two or three motorcycles or more than that like you or any other celebrity rider. So, they will definitely opt for crash-guards mainly. Rather, breaking of chassis is not a new problem in RE motorcycles. You also know that. Then why are you defending their crime? Yes, crime. RE is doing crime by providing substandard and poor quality material in their products. An amount of Rs. 3 Lakh or 4 Lakh is not a too little amount, but yes; obviously in comparison with other international motorcycle brands RE's products are little bit cheaper. But who told RE to produce cheaper products? Why doesn't RE take some more money or make some less profit to provide better quality products? If RE needs take Rs. 15K to 20K more for providing better quality raw materials, etc. then why it's not walking on that way? Who stops RE from doing that? Nobody, just nobody. But no, Mr. Siddharth Lal wants to make money by risking his customers. You too have several motorcycles. You also have installed several aftermarket accessories, crash-guards, etc. on your costly motorcycles, your many riders friends have also done same on their costly flagship motorcycles, like BMW, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, etc. How many of you have faced such a problem by installing aftermarket crash-guards or accessories? Then why it happens with RE motorcycles only? So, it's a clear thing that RE products are not up to the mark. Therefore, my dear friend, you, being an influencer, create pressure on RE to produce good quality products instead of defending it. Don't be a spokesman of RE, stand in favour of general customers, who are facing such tremendous life killing threats from RE products for year after years. RE has not made you Bulu Pattnaik, the celebrity rider; we are the people for whom you have become Bulu Pattnaik. Thank you.

I am a KTM 390 ADV owner. I would say buy one. However, keep in mind the what wise people say. Never buy the first batch. So with that logic you will be waiting until 2026 to buy a hassle free upcoming KTM 390 adventure. If not just go for the existing model. The upcoming one will not have tubeless tyres anyways.

@Bulu...I will share my opinion...when your bike falls chassi is not directly impacted...but when u install guard than it do get dmg and passes dmg to chasis too...now latest RE bikes guards are connected to critical joins of Chassi which create pressure point on it during fall ..now lets go back to old RE you can clearly see guards been mounted below the critical points with help of external clams and at time of accident guards breaks and absorbs dmg, bends and additionally under join breaks too...which avoids dmg to chasis...trust me i owe std 500 bs3 model and its been 9yrs...i beem doing off roading and long rides even had 1 or 2 accident where guards broken but never had chasi problem
Just because you have never face issues doesn't mean other people won't, ye kya logic hai😂 bikes are meant to be modded with aftermarket parts and the first thing RE people get is a bigger crash guard as mounting point for after market lights. Some bike companies even give after market parts makers their bike before launch so that they can come up with accesories at launch RE is one of those companies... These aftermarket companies make standard stuff for all companies why doesn't their chasis break as well?

None of what he said made sense. Crash guards are made to endure hard crash or dragged in case of a fall or crash. Now it act exactly as a crumple zone works in the car. It does not let the impact go to the side pillars of the cars structural design or where the whole weight rest upon. If your chasis snap open without a reason mind you these bikes none of the two had a fall from a staggering height shows poor craftmenship and quality controls of RE mfgr unit. If you bike falls from a significant height let say 6 to 8 feets we might expect that but here the chassis snapped open by rode.above a speed breaker which is outright stupid because its a purpose built bike and not a regular commuter. It's shame that youtubers can not muster enough courage to call out something that is wrong and can potential cause fatal or imminent danger to the life of rider Paisa toh bahut kama loge BULU but kisi ki jaan ki kimaat aapke views or paison se bahut zyaada hai

Me waiting for 2025 KTM ADV390 with LC4c new engine and few more features🥲❤
I have RE thunderbird 350 BS4. Though i didnt face any major issues. But looking at all those videos made me decide i aint gonna buy an RE bike anymore. i am gonna move straight to KTM ADV.
@@abhijeetchavan13Yep, I might go for it too.

Big media people and youtubes are blaming the victim and no one is questioning the company. So thank you for what you're doing
Re is not a cheap bike it is 3.5lac rupees
@@Trainlife12 average loha vale ka comment
RE is not cheap by any cost... In the contrary it is overpriced. The price of Classic 350 should not be more than 1.5 lakh if quality is to be considered.
I was patiently wait for something to happen to 450 himalayan. And these happen just like pervious bike.
Thank God I didn't buy this bike out of excitement. 😊
Bulu bhai , Main problem with RE is they don't improve or upgrade their bike during batch production.
True
Thank you, @Bulubiker , for 3:01 highlighting our video . Right now, the bike is at the showroom undergoing R&D, and Royal Enfield is also requesting us to take down the video

what happened to your bike
Finally someone decided to speak the facts. Happy to have been following you from a long time
Thank you for this much needed video.
First one failed at 5,000 kms
Second failed at 11,000 kms
Third failed at 23,000 kms
First two were replaced under warranty but third one failed after warranty was over hence I had to pay 2,400 rupees for the same.
I've got no electrical mods or anything additional installed on my bike ever and RE Service center could never comeup with a reason for this frequent failure.
Same as my interceptor 3rd time change re unit 30k km only than I sold my bike for this problem
What is rr unit ?
@@laxmikantgs7863 battery charger our battery dead hone ke baad he bike start ni hoti battery threw hi ignition system chalta h
@@laxmikantgs7863 Regulator Rectifier Unit - It basically converts AC current to DC current and passes it to the battery... If it fails then the battery won't get charged and eventually you'd end up with a dead battery.
Change the position of RR unit to somewhere where wind flows better, overheating is the main cause of RR failure in 650s.
Such an amazing video Bulu bhai ❤
Pehla wala jo chassis tuta usme maanta hun ki aftermarket accessories ke wajah se tuta. Lekin dusre wala himalayan pe toh koi accessory laga hi nahi, wo kaise tuta? Uska excuse kya hai?
My chasis has also broken 350 classic. And at same place other people are also facing the same issue, RE should fix it...
Excatly my averger 220 is awsome
I was not sure about re450 and finally I bought triumph400x
That's the best decision ❤

RE needs to up its game. I just bought a Honda CB 350 after wanting a Meteor 350 for a good part of a year. RE just doesn't match up to the competition. They are cheap bikes.
Same here brother proud owner of CB 350, went to buy bullet 350 but they had no tubeless tyre and they were least bothered to provide me with it and when i insisted they were charging me 17000rs, so i went to honda and bought CB350.
Good choice once u own an Re fir kabhi nahi loge
Very good analysis, I completely agree 👍
😢
I was going to book himalayan 452...but now I'll wait for triumph tiger 400...or new ktm 390....2025...thank u for unbiased advice
Yamaha T7 and 890R both use engine as a stressed member - if it’s done properly, it isn’t an issue.
9:50 ktm, yezdi, honda k saath to nahi hota. zinke bike me problem hui unke 4L ki koi valu nahi hai kya?
Now I know why people buying RE need broad service center network.. So that they can keep their bikes parked there. 😂

Exactly, off roading is over hyped in India, we don't do extreme off road rides. But Tubeless is a life saver.

A big namaskaram to RE and their test team ,
The him450 is new to the market and barely anybody has done 10k km till now but my gutt feeling says once buyers munch more miles on the him450 they will definitely witness far more major issues which can be dangerous as bullu bhai said it’s too early to say but 6months to an year down the line we will see more such issues.Hopefully RE takes this issue seriously in time.
Cone set is a very annoying issue with RE bikes. Not just Himalayan , even other bikes like Interceptor/GT 650 are also plagued by the cone set issue.
The owner himself claimed that the chassis broke because of the aftermarket guard and missing bolt for engine guard.
And what about other cases , are disappearing bolts of CHASSIS a normal thing?
He will claim anything now. That's the condition the manufacturer might have put to cover it under warranty. The video was also asked to be taken down. Not the owners fault. I would have done the same. Not all are crusaders like Bullu Bhai 🙇
Shouldn't company branded accessories be part of the warranty? All accessories for the Speed 400 from the company are covered under Triumph warranty.

Definitely Himalayan is better all of them
Most Indian brands suffer from design and manufacturing flaws.
I doubt the same about 4 wheeler in terms of build quality

There's extra stress on the right side of the chassis because of how the suspension on Himalayan 450 is setup. One suspension is for rebound and one suspension is for damping (SFF - Separate Fork Function), hence the little twist of the chasis which causes extra stress on that region of the chassis.

I own 450... I want to install the crash gaurd so I'm following this very closely. What I have understood is that crash gaurd in whole is not the issue. Issue is with the bolts comes with it. The strength of the bolts may differ from the original bolts.
Where is the crash guard in picture? If you see the cut portion ,it is symmetric, no bend on the rod.... why?

Thank you.

Please go for a ktm adventure which is perfect in quality, features and performance! extend your budget a little bit, get the best, and ride peacefully and trustworthily!
Brother I own a 450....it's a gem....go for it....these influencers are all paid and want views.....the bike has disrupted the market....that is why negativity is being spread
Go for Triumph scrambler 400X. I am sure you will not be disappointed
I took the test ride of every bike in this category,
I have a ktm 250(2022), now I want to upgrade, because for long ride duke250 is not that good, my friend have 390 adv x but the new one will be atleast 4.25lac
RE depends on quantity not quality. Kitna loha dal sakta hain dalo😂😂😂
par welding thik se nahi karo😂
@@tanaysarkar6406 quality soro vai, sukar karo ki welding kya hain. Woh log toh rasi se v baandh k de sakta hain koi gaurantee nahi.🤣
That's a valid point. But RE did not come back with that reason. They clearly mention that the bolts were missing causing stress on the chasis.
Bulu ji, the reason to follow you is just because of your own actions.
Everywhere shouting has started. And here you are, aap aaram se relax hoke baithe ho, aaram se explain karte ho. Aapke baat me dum bhi hai.
Jab log yaha tata suzuki crash test ka bekar analysis bike ki chasis pe kar rahe hai aap clarity de rahe ho.
Maza aata hai aap jaise logon ko sunke. Best wishes, Bulu ji 🙏.
It's shame that youtubers can not muster enough courage to call out something that is wrong and can potential cause fatal or imminent danger to the life of rider
Paisa toh bahut kama loge BULU but kisi ki jaan ki kimaat aapke views or paison se bahut zyaada hai
@@sumeetghai8867 bro do you have experience in engineering?
Because most people i see speaking about all this are simply shouting what everyone else is shouting.
If you dont know what you're speaking about, i recommend you stop shouting with the crowd.
You're only increasing your bp, not my bp, because i ignore all this.
Why RE himalyan again ???? Worldwide every freaking adventure bike has custom gaurds installed
I m going to buy gt 650 is it good bike for long time plz reply sir
Yes
In any of the footage of broken chassis i dont see aftermarket crashguards
I'm so gladni bought triumph scrambler 400x. Love the riding experience with of peace of mind...
Even bulu isn’t accepting the habitual design flaw of RE and giving us classes on being fanatic 😂. Basically RE is a plumber brand, a wrench and aluminium pipe and make it sound patpatpat😎 suits RE best. Bulu ur obsessed with RE 😅
The Quality of Accessories(helmet, handgloves, jackets etc) RE sales in their showrooms is actually much better then the bikes they sell.
This I totally agree, the accessories r good quality
Idk about other accessories but their helmet is a cheap copy of other good brands helmet. And if you think their helmet quality is good then i guess you are that vega user that comes under 1800 rupees
Sir, Can you review the Jawa 42 Bobber?
Honda hyness ore honda cb 350 k bare me kya kahena ha sir😊
Believe it or not but something like this was expected. Because its a RE. 😂
Are enfields made of cast iron?
Thanks a lot 👍 bulu bhai do more videos like this
I cancelled my booking just now 😂
Bhai, you are amazing. I loved the closing statement.
Please suggest me bikes under 3Lakh.
Anyday Go for triumph 400 if service is near by....
RE is not grown up even after 100+ years
Conset me kat kat awaaz aati h
Mirror vibration
& Many more
I have a 450 . I think no one should buy this now . I’m facing some gear issues . 1st - 3rd loud thud is going on while shifting . In offroading you can’t go incline in 2nd gear . Low end torque issues . And service centre ignore most of the issues . RE helpline is too good but the end showroom and service staffs are not that good . I had the right side pulling of that handlebar from the starting . But the staff told me that is because of wires coming out of the switchgears from the right side of handlebar .can you beleive it
Aaah man too many issues
Thanks for sharing. Very few have the courage to do this. I own a KTM ADV and it is not perfect either. People use fit and finish synonymously. I am very happy with the fit/build quality of KTM. Not an issue till date. Finishing has a bit of niggles here and there. Need to keep tightening the nut bolts and keep tieing the wires once in a while.
@@BuluBiker 😅 Yes indeed .
25k units sold hua hai unmey sirf 2 bike mey issue hai. Yeh tho har kisi bike mey issue hoga. I have been using class 350 reborn from the last 2 years there no issues at all.
Chasis break issue nahi hota har kisi bike mein😂
Ha new batch mai solve Kiya uce Mai tho chassis crack hota tha .himalyan bhi 2-3 batch ke baad sahi hoga
