    Thanks! It didn't want to come out and I was afraid of forcing it. But knowing how you just pulled I was able to put more muscle on it and it came right out!

    how do you change the fourth spark plug? the ignition coil does not come out because there is a part that does not allow its extraction

  • @diamari91

    Soo other than checking the connections at the coils, is there anything else you’d look for (besides dirt, oil) when replacing the plugs and coils? I want to just buy the coils and plugs and just install them myself but want to make sure im checking everything I SHOULD be checking while im under the hood

    Why do you never answer about the 4th coil and how to replace? Multiple people asked.

    My Elantra 2015 has been vibrating more than usual. I took it to a mechanic and they said nothing is wrong with it. I have a buddy who said that his elantra was doing the same. He went to replace the ignition coils and spark plugs which solved the problem. I'm not sure if this might also be in my case, but the check engine light was not showing but the computer did read a misfire. My elantra is not showing any of that. Can changing the spark plugs and ignition coils solve the vibration problem?

      It’s quite simple. They should all be pretty easy to get to. But just loosen the screw - remove the coil and then loosen the spark plug and remove it… idk if that helps.. thanks for watching though!

    Ugh. Just paid $380 at the dealer. I had no time to deal with it myself. Question: would A bad coil ever cause the engine to not start or stall?

    • @n3rdoutmedia
      @n3rdoutmedia 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t speak for your car, but I’ve had 2 cars that had coil packs and even when the coils went bad, they would still start. I have 2 that went out in my car now and it could still be driven.

    • @eddieserna5046

      That video shows a California emission motor. They don't show how to remove plugs 3 & 4 (right side of motor) because the rubber covered chrome thingie that's in the way of removing those plugs is a fuel pressure pump and so they more than likely did not finish the job on their own. DIY weekend mechanics: you prolly don't want to mess around with that. So that's why the dealership charges so much for the spark plug change, IMO.
