    I use the same setting for the C1 button on getting the gimbal to rotate from top down view to looking out. Super helpful!
    But this video was incredibly helpful and gave me some insights that were new to me. The editing and putting together of this tutorial was very well done man 👍 Looking forward to another one!

    Great video. Thanks for explaining the various settings especially "gain". I've seen other videos but it appeared the person explaining gain didn't understand it either. Good job!

      You're very welcome, glad it was helpful. Indeed, it does take a ridiculous amount of work to produce a video, so thank you for your kind words! Good Flying!

      @@AlienDrones I just tried it now and it is absolutely fine, indeed it does not replace the complete production and implementation of work 😊 but we are also lucky if we have the proper tool with the best settings for our needs 😉

      I'm going to make a video on this really have found it frustrating and want to explain what I have found out. This is a helpful video but there is far too little on this and really makes the entire drone experience cinematically with all these fine tuning settings.

    I noticed a couple mistakes but overall this was informative and I've already had a few years with my Mavic Pro. I too pride myself on orbiting. Wife and I vacation at Tahoe often. I circled Fannette (Tea House) island a couple years back keeping it center frame. Epic in my humble opinion. Your gimbal speed/smoothness descriptions were spot on! Thanks for those. I'll make those adjustments in the morning. Keep up the good work!

    At 6:15 when talking about your yaw movement settings, you refer to this as side to side motion and show video of the drone banking / rolling. I'm copying the settings anyway to give them a try, but wanted to point out there might be some confusion here. Thanks for the video.

    Hi there, thanks for the video. I'm wondering. In your screenshot you can see a gray or colored square in the topright of the screen. If you push it it will show teh image as it would be with full colorscale (or so I think). But, I cannot find the setting for that anywhere. Is it a setting or did DJI take it out of the programm? Would be great if you (or anyone of your visitors) could tell me that. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Holland 👍

    • @AlienDrones
      @AlienDrones  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey friend, thanks for the comment! So the gray square icon turns to a color icon when you press it and yes, it increases the visual color of the screen display without actually changing the video being recorded. This is an awesome and under rated feature that I happened to have toggled off when screen recording for this video so thanks for noticing! If I forget to toggle this to "enhanced mode" when flying it looks like I'm taking a video through the fog and makes it hard to see detail. The button is still in the DJIGo4 app on my system but note that it will disappear if you toggle the settings to "automatic" mode. Once the settings are returned to a manual mode (I shoot in D-log always now) the icon will reappear. One goofy thing I noticed as well is that the screen recording software I'm using boogers this function up and it will toggle only once from gray to color and then will not function again until I reboot the DJIGo4 app. Hope this helps, Good Flying!

    Smooth also o.es with practice

    • @dennisbrooks240
      @dennisbrooks240 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Comes wit practice, sorry, up 0430 (4:30 AM) from pain and big fingers. I used to fly and teach helicopter maneuvers. Good practice requires a fixed point - AND a straight line like a fence, curb, solid centerline or similar. Keep it low, not a road from 400 ft. Practice noise (camera) in and nose out circles around a point. A fixed distance and constant speed with side movement and rotation. Then fly left and right down the line while spinning at a constant rate. Combine with similar settings for smooth video while moving laterally.

    What I hate is that it's on a curve....the entire stick movement should remain the same speed when making an adjustment to me similar to a throttle. To have it slow for only 3/4 of the stick movement and then abruptly ramp up to me is crap. I want to push the stick entirely in one direction and have the movements remain slowed down and consistent. SO frustrating the Fly app is better than adjusting sensitivity in the Go4 app.

    Hi , having some issues been looking for a u tube on this as to how you set things in real time, sorry to be a dummy but when i set things and come back the setting, eg max altitiude is zero after my input. I'm setting with keypad then pressing done, but then i go back and they change??

    • @chrisferrett1455
      @chrisferrett1455 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry it was not connected, can you also show how you navigate from screen to screen some I was not able to find, sorry not good with technoligy, but yes how you got to certain screens real time would be good for people like me , fingers showing where you go what you press to achive the settings you have. I have to pause and play .

    Is it possible to change EXP, Sensitivity etc and store them into memory in the app and recall them later for different occasions as a time saver method ?

    • @AlienDrones
      @AlienDrones  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Boy, using "Recipes" would be great, but I don't know if that exists. I've never seen a setting for that but if it does I'd be happy to find that out as well. That being said, the settings don't change much for me anymore, I guess I've dialed them in to what works for me and anything else I've learned how to pilot with, but that's just me ... Good Flying!

      Alien Drones I hear you but for me it differs from when I’m fly to record and get the most dramatic shots in motion vs when I’m challenging my flying skills to react maneuver so I hope this will be an update feature in the future.

    Hi, will these settings affect all 3 fly modes T, P and S, or can I adjust each mode separately? Or maybe I can create custom mode?
