I didn't mind AC Mirage MTX because I didn't buy any. 😂 They were all optional, unless you didn't pre-order as the Forty Thieves Quest Line was actually rather fun if I'm honest.

I won’t diss this game I loved it, but I will admit I was a fool to buy the collectibles map pack. I waited till after I beat the game to start working on collectibles and didn’t realize literally everything was already showing on my map before I gave them 5 bucks for the pack.

The fourth thieves quest should’ve come in the deluxe edition but it didn’t because Ubisoft could make more money that way

Yeah Assassins Creed Valhalla had like 10 billion hours of gameplay and 90% of the weapons and skins weren’t unlockable in game. It did have the option to grind mindless weekly tasks in a random opal market. That was such a bullshit hook they created. The best thing they had was the bobblehead costumes and they are only for a holiday then disappear.
I think it's ludicrous that one outfit and a weapon costs 1/6 of the game.
Ubisoft really is one of the best worst companies of all time. They love to exploit the customer to no end and bleed them dry, but at the same time they are pioneers of the open world genre and created some of the best historical fiction narratives. Not to mention the genuinely educational game modes they have for games like Origins that give real history. They did genuinely go out of their way to have historical accuracy and implement real life lore in their games. It sucks how greedy they are for how amazing the details are in the AC franchise.

Odissey and Valhalla were way worse. Odissey if you didn't buy from the store you had to do a lot of grinding just to continue with the main story. Valhalla even with the season pass you had to buy extra expansions and download so many updates to get everything (all the content without the packs is over 200 dollars). So Mirage only having optional cosmetics pack at 10-20 dollars ain't that bad bro😂
If I recall, the fire demon pack did include an actual costume with perks, similarly did the jinni and prince of persia packs. Another thing is that technically all of these are part of one “big dlc”; the master assassins edition, which may explain why some people don’t count it as “micro transactions” as you can buy all of it in a “premium” version of the game.

Ubisoft are just monet grubbers, there basically like EA. The DLC for origins, odyssey and Valhalla are still so expensive which is so frustrating. Take a look at the new star wars game, its like $110 and for the bonus stuff, you need to buy gold edition which is like $150-$155

Idc what anyone says, Valhalla is a great game and Ubisoft doesn't get enough credit for gow utterly massive that game was. Talk about open worlds. It is still unmatched in scope. Idk what this video says about Mirage but I bet Valhalla is a better game.

Greedy dlcs, of course, it is Ubisoft, but I don't care I simply dont buy them, not even the deluxe edition, I buy the base game and no more... with Red this is my plan but I bet that they will go much more greedy with Shinobis and Samurais, after that leaks about battle passes ... oh boy with Red you will have to make a video and then we will know your rant against Ubisoft, I mean I believe Red will be a good game but the microtransactions and dlcs will be insane
I want to add, actually one of the cool and exclusive dyes, grey dyes, are free, as a reward for completing the full sync challenge in hard , well done there Ubisoft Bordeaux
Honestly, for once, I will defend the microtransactions... Because of everything they gave us *for free* after launch up until last month.
If they can deliver so many goodies as free updates, I say let them have a blast with the primarily cosmetics paid DLCs.
Let it be known though, I will not defend the amount of paid cosmetics and shit they threw through the whole RPG trilogy with the same kindness.
