    This will reduce snoring.... Do this before going to sleep, also do Kapalbhati Yoga, it helped me a lot. You should give up alcohol completely, my chronic snoring is completely gone with this yoga, thank you very much.

    It was a really nice video. Breathing exercises can really help with snoring and other respiratory problems like asthma and sinusitis. Anulom vilom is really beneficial in improving lung capacity and sleep. Practicing it daily for 10 minutes (2-3 times a day) can help a lot.

    One surprise happened to me: I applied coconut oil before sleep as I'm not applying oil day time.. but, this helps reducing my snoring a lot.. not sure how it works..

      Yes, it is working. Very good exercise. It took nearly 7days to show the effect.

      And I have started doing cardio and weight exercises as well with this. But, after adding this exercise in my routine I have stopped snoring. My husband used to hate sharing bed with me. Now we can sleep together. We both are having peaceful sleep.

    MY right nostril keeps blocking during 4th exercise....i'm unable to inhale through my right nostril...i repeated exercise 2 for unblocking right nostril...blocks again when i do 4th exercise...how do i get out of this loop

      Namaste. The primary aim of treating an attack of Asthma is to clear the airways and to bring about its expansion to facilitate exhalations. Poses like Swatikasan, Supta baddhakonasan, Supta Virasana, Setubandhasana and Sarvangasana can be done. Make sure to consult your general physician before practising these.     This has opened my eyes to other elements. Thank you. The last practice with the chin mudras. Is there a mudras similar to chin mudras with thumb on side of index first phalange. I find this relaxes me more. Does this do the same purpose as chin mudras ? Please reply. Thank you

      Namaste. Yes, Chin mudra is touching the tip of the index finger to the thumb. Chinmaya mudra is touching the side of the index to the thumb. Chin mudra calms the mind, whereas Chinmaya mudra brings awareness to the body. Both have their benefits. Hope this helps, thank you.

      These techniques can help reduce or stop snoring completely within a few months when practiced regularly. However, along with yoga there are other factors such as eating healthy, regular sleep and exercise that play a role too. Hope this helps!

      Actually I am facing snoring issue since last 2-3 weeks and I am 23 weeks pregnant. It seems to me like its because of my rapidly increasing weight during pregnancy. Please suggest

      Namaste. Yes weight gain can be a cause of snoring at night. You may practise this technique daily at night before bed, preferably on an empty stomach. Results vary from person to person but with these techniques you will get some relief.

      Through yoga we try and correct our way of breathing, improve our lung capacity, strengthen our throat and tongue muscles. All these elements help reduce snoring or prevent it. The time you do it does not matter so much but do experiment and see what has a better effect on you. It is best to continue the practice as long as you can for a lasting effect. Hope this helps!

      Namaste, if you are finding one of your nostrils getting blocked repeatedly, you can try some other Yogic practices like Jala neti and Sutra neti. Hope this helps, thank you.
