    Fact, a small baby too snores. We live in a stressful environment, high level of pollution causes allergy, cold etc, due to which our nose gets blocked, and we start snoring...it can happen anytime...

    Mam you have no idea how people who snore are affected. Snoring person doesn't get sound sleep. Sometimes we feel guilty n don't sleep to avoid snoring.

      The guilt one gets for causing another to not sleep well is the worst for me. Had to move rooms, which is not good for relationships. I detest sleeping time. Don't even get good sleep at all. So no selfishness here.

    Mam snoring is not a mark of disrespect to others sleep, it is involuntary and should not despised, like any other medical condition is. Certainly one should try to reduce with all the efforts that they can put in but one cannot completely control it in unconscious state of mind. People do develop guilt the next morning when some one irritable and mad at them for doing something they don't intend to..

    • @PrabhuramSundaram
      @PrabhuramSundaram 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Totally totally agree. Please sympathize with us who snore rather than making us guilty. It is not a condition we asked for. For example, I do not drink alcohol and i am not overweight either. And I have been doing yoga for quite some time. Yet, have been snoring for some time now. Anyway, thanks for this video. Hope to be consistent with my pranayama, which I had stopped because of nasal congestion every morning on waking up.

    • @PrabhuramSundaram
      @PrabhuramSundaram 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Saral_Lekhi there is no proper solution to this and I also understand this happens to most people as they age. I am not saying it is OK. But people who snore are helpless. Let people know if there are real remedies

    Snoring for most people happens because of mouth breathing. Taping the mouth with a good quality silicone or cotton surgical tape (an two inch piece of the tape vertically across the middle part of the lips, right underneath the nose), avoids mouth breathing and snoring. You also sleep better. Mouth breathing causes a lot of health issues too apart from snoring. All that will be taken care of by mouth taping. It’s life changing for me.

    • @ellamarrone9031
      @ellamarrone9031 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@destromakhiya "In general, it is healthier to breathe through the nose than through the mouth. This is because nose breathing is more natural and helps your body use the air you breathe inefficiently. Experts have cited additional benefits of nose breathing including better blood flow throughout the body and higher levels of oxygenation to the brain. One study even shows a connection between nose breathing and improved memory function."
