Had a 1966 Honda CL77, 305cc twin when I came back from Vietnam . Looked almost identical to that 160.
From Honda , attention to detail , performance , ease of maintenance and build quality from bikes of the 60.s was second to none they sounded and looked good ...... compered to what else was for sale sale the time , these bikes were and still are a revelation .
They pretty much cornered the existing market.., and created a new market more or less... ✅️
I had this bike back in the way back early 1970s it was truly dependable and bulletproof. Even have a photo of myself on it back in the day. Ride to live live to ride 🏍️🇺🇸
That’s ultra nice, nothing looks out of place on it, well designed!
Very cool rare immaculate ride
That motorcycle speaks for itself & can hold its own. Great looking & sounding motorcycle. Honda legendary quality , performance, & reliability in a small “ sleeper “ package 👏😎👍😊❤
Sounds great for a 160cc!
I was7 my bro had 3 shops. Jacksonville, Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. I still remember the radio add. Cycles Inc. 1009 lejune Blvd Jacksonville NC! You meet the nicest people on Honda.
Beautiful classic with a gorgeous paintjob. Would be great, for a teenager to learn how to ride a motorcycle on, especially if they live near a beach town.
Lord God a dream machine.
That sounds amazing reminds me a little of the Honda CB125 twin,
Buen video entretenido saludos desde Panamá 🇵🇦
I'd be curious what you thought would be a good modern replacement for a bike like this. I'd really like to buy something with two cylinders and small like the Honda in this video?
Electric start on a CL160 means it is 1967. The 1966 did not have electric start because it had a one-year-only engine guard that did not make room for the starter.
Do you still have it and would you sell it.
electric starter? CL forks........dealer conversion?
