A CB160 was my first bike at 16, which I paid $200 for used in 1970. The previous owner had replaced the rusted-out factory mufflers with these cool little glass-pack shorty's kinda like mini Cherry Bombs. They gave that thing a wail that you could hear a mile away! I think I had it for about 3 weeks until I did an accidental wheelie leaving a stop sign with my best friend on the back. So I decided to wind it all the way out thru the gears, but failed to notice the cop hot on my heels, and made him chase me half way across town until I noticed the reflection of his flashing red lights coming off the car in front of me. That cop was MAD, I got to see what the police station looked like from the inside, and the 160 was sold to help pay the fines for the 3 or 4 offenses I had been charged with. So began my career as an outlaw biker...! LOL (from Sportster Dave)

Bought my CB160 new in 1965 for $578. Put 28,000 miles on it and drove from Seattle to Ohio with no issues.

I once owned the 66 cl 160, the intire time I owned it the bike never refused to start in 2/3 kicks. Love the little tool kit cylinder☆☆☆☆☆
