Making decisions for the betterment of the family is crucial. Watch this video and hear the decision on staying in China or going back to the USA. Did I touch on the key points that helps make the decision?

But ironically, the western value is human rights! Westerners prefer the rights over everything, including your life! The right to vote, the right to bear arms, the right to speak freely, the right to choose gender, and blah blah blah, but there is no right to ensure the safety of your life! 😂 All those rights are somehow valuable, but not applicable to be above everything in your life.

I'm not sure how gender "problems" are a marker for unsafe communities and crime. Gender issues in the US are not anywhere near as prevalent as youth gangs, guns, drugs, etc. The media here does like to latch onto these wedge issues for viewership and political engagement. This is the same media that has also convinced people of their narrative on China.

I have seen American culture back in the 50s compares to now. It is a night and day contrast. It used to be " Leave it to Beaver" or " Ozzie and Harriet". However, the US government has no concerns about the degradation of media, quality of elementary and high school teachers, the ubiquity of guns violence. In contrast, Chinese culture is still more heavily influence by Confucius teaching regarding family, society and the role of the state play. You are right, US is more individualistic and China is more collective. Education has been the predominate theme for thousand of years for Chinese parents to motivate their kids to strive for. For in China, meritocracy still remains to the bar one must pass before they could get anywhere. I do think your kids are in far better position in the future due to the economic opportunities, far more broad minded from international exposure. "No Graffiti," like you said, it is a sign of respect. It is so prevalent in US, UK, EU, AUS, CAN etc.

That's why China has been the longest continuation of civiization. Even on modern time as long as it teach and discipline, wisdom and philosophy that goes way back in ancient time which mold the Chinese people as hard working, discipline and such. America has lost it's value of the 50'-60'. Now it's a complete wrecked of too much freedom and corruption that doesn't know what it is any longer. This is why the path it's moving is toward destruction and slow decay. Not to mention brainwashing your kids to be transgender and such etc etc. Too many problem in America

Raising kids in China is for the parents to transfer and cultivate culture and human to human, and human to nature skill to their children. Promote peace and tranquility of living in human society, respect for the elderly and teachers. Teaching kids not to be involved in anti-social behavior. Such parenting duty is not practiced in the US. The worst situation in the US is the freedom of the kids to take drugs and possessing of guns at young age. They grow up to care for themselves and not society and community. Many American high tech industries relied on immigrants from China and India. Politicians indulged in money politics 24/7 oblivious to the broken down infrastructures , dilapidated transport system and high cost of medical care including medicines which belong to the monopoly firms. No citizens care about the rising national debt.and many people work 2 jobs to survive. Facing a government that spreads lies is no way to progress.

I only care my own freedoms and human rights , I don’t care others freedoms nor their human rights . If I do whatever I want to do that hurts you, it’s my freedom and human rights. I have lived and studied in both places, and I can only say that seeing is believing. The Western world boasts unique strengths-freedom, creativity, and individuality are deeply ingrained in its culture. On the other hand, Confucian society in China emphasizes stability, balance, and community. To provide my child with a solid foundation in both languages and mathematics, I chose to have him complete middle school in China. Once he had developed a strong sense of personality and maturity, I sent him to the U.S. to pursue high school (starting in Grade 9~10) and university.
