China must be doing something right because all the US politicians keep talking about is finding ways to stop China from surpassing the US and to keep China down like it was before so that the US could take advantage of China like it once did!
The problem that I have is that after living many years in China whenevr i visit Europe I complain about may things i see all around me. e.g. dirty stations, delayed transport, rude waiters expecting to be tipped, dirty languange on walls , fear in the darkm missing Chinese cuisene and so on, which are all taken for granted for being perfect in China
But ironically, the western value is human rights! Westerners prefer the rights over everything, including your life! The right to vote, the right to bear arms, the right to speak freely, the right to choose gender, and blah blah blah, but there is no right to ensure the safety of your life! 😂 All those rights are somehow valuable, but not applicable to be above everything in your life.

I'm not sure how gender "problems" are a marker for unsafe communities and crime. Gender issues in the US are not anywhere near as prevalent as youth gangs, guns, drugs, etc. The media here does like to latch onto these wedge issues for viewership and political engagement. This is the same media that has also convinced people of their narrative on China.

Chinese education and examination systems are designed and built for common good, with 1.4 billion of people, China has over 10 million students waiting to get in universities every year, how to make sure every kid got the fair chance for their future is always having the key attention of the Chinese government, yes it has its own flaws, just like any other, but it certainly success in its own way to serve the majority in China, doing its best making sure whether you are poor or rich, farmer's kid or official's kid, you only get in the best uni if you are the best in millions, no rich family ivy league sponsorship, no daddy helps you build a library to get in Harvard kinda jokes that bring inequality.

I have lived and studied in both places, and I can only say that seeing is believing. The Western world boasts unique strengths-freedom, creativity, and individuality are deeply ingrained in its culture. On the other hand, Confucian society in China emphasizes stability, balance, and community. To provide my child with a solid foundation in both languages and mathematics, I chose to have him complete middle school in China. Once he had developed a strong sense of personality and maturity, I sent him to the U.S. to pursue high school (starting in Grade 9~10) and university.
Hi Chris, I am approaching this decision soon, my boy is 9 months old, wonderful Chinese mother, UK father. I have been to China a dozen or more times, lived there for 4 years, and I can fully understand your choice to remain in China, and give your kids a great upbringing. Just like USA, the UK is also very broken. I expect within the next few years, we will move to China ( Yantai / Weihai / Qingdao, Shandong) full time.

prosperity, that's what it is all about. China used to be poor, and dirty, but China never give up working hard towards prosperity. Common prosperity is the next stage China is trying to achieve.
First your kids can go anywhere at anytime unsupervised. Second their math skills will be years ahead of US. Thirdly their respect for teachers and elders will be better plus the right values. Fourth they will definitely have a better understanding of the world. Fifth they enjoy the best infrastructure and public transport system in the world.
Thanks for an unbiased view, especially with the education, explaining the importance and sacrifice of parents, even though the kids may not be totally relaxed at the moment. They'll be better off in the future.

Super duper clean……wish u success n happiness in China.
Thank you for sharing 🙏 I am glad that you are pleased for choices and I am sure your kids will do well 👍you are a great father👍
Welcome to China. God bless you
You sound serious because you love your family very much. Kudos to you. You are absolutely spot on about raising kids. The environment they grow up in is utmost important.
It's all about the Oriental cultures in general and specifically the Chinese culture, it is based on "Filial Piety", discpline, respect, seriousness and powerfull family ties, kindly allow me to ask you to consider studying the Chinese language it will help you so much in many aspects of your life in China, even if only study the basics.
Thank you for the comment. I am studying now.
@@ChrisHereToday i wish you GOOD LUCK

I have some relatives living in USA. They are just sick of the crime rate, constant hate, lack of health care. Some of them left and some are contemplating .
Finding happiness is hard but the first thing is to move to a place that let you
I do also, and they tell me things are a mes

In China, Seniors i.e. age over 60, are entitled to ride MTR and other Public Transport within the city FREE.
There is a speparate entrance for them to access the trains inside the MTR Station.
I'd love to share this video as much as i can especially to my relatives living in Western countries & on all my social media account to know the exact truth.
We just toured China and I agree with you China is safe and clean. Enjoy your fair and honest journalism.
In the States, disagree = against , freedom and human rights only apply to myself , not apply to anyone else. I only care my own freedoms and human rights , I don’t care others freedoms nor their human rights . If I do whatever I want to do that hurts you, it’s my freedom and human rights. I throw garbage, piss , smoking and yelling acting crazy on the street, it’s my freedom .
Bingo ! You just spoken right to the key points. The US is degrading due to those reasons plus, evil politicians.
Looks great
I wish I was living in China
Or USA was this clean and safe
It’s such a shame
Good luck and best wishes for you
I lived in NYC. In the 80s
So dirty and crime was the norm
But how about Gothenburg in Sweden?
There are rats running around in the subway stations and inside the cabin in NYC, The subway cabins smell urine.
@@michaelloong964 I know, so sad
I want to wear a gas mask when I go down into the subways in New York... The air down there is stagnant and smells horrible!!!!😮😮😮😮😮
How about Canada? I've seen many videos it's clean and beautiful, with a low crime rate, and it's close to the US.
Smart parents with advanced thought 👍 your kids will appreciate your decision when they grow up

Very interesting video and revealing. It is amazing how good is to see such a civilised nation, good for them, I love it.
One thing i love about China is that i feel very safe. There is no need to look over my shoulder whenever i am walking at anytime of the day or night. Another thing i love about China is affordability of basic needs. I visit China every now and then and i am always astonised by its futuristic infrastructures. One thing i would love to try is riding the robotaxi ( a driverless taxi).
My eldest son with his cousin studying in chinese university . We are foreigners not chinese . But study in china much better than outside .
*Yes, you don't need to worry his safety at school in China. I was sad when I saw that the US teachers teach the kids to hide under the tables when there is gun shooting within the school.*
@@Monitor2023 Very sad
Your child will become kind, friendly and respectful, and won’t worry about shootings or daily worries about gender political correctness.
Thank you for the comment. Hope all is well.
Only just stumbled across your channel, love the content already. Thanks.
Wish you nothing but the best for you and your family.
US public school is a disaster. Drop-out rate is double digit; HS grads are barely literate; US HS grads score near the bottom on science and math subject. Graffiti, trash, drugs, crime, and homeless are everywhere - look no further than NYC, Oakland, Philly, Chicago, Detroit, LA, SF, Seattle, Miami, Camden, St Louis, Houston, Dallas, Albuquerque, ...
.
Yea but here in Gothenburg it’s safe
I remember watching a documentary about the state of the US Education system it was an eye opener
Felt so sad for those kids even though it came out 14 years ago a lot of what you say was also the same thing that was said back then

Completely agree about having too much freedom and too much individuality being a bad thing. People only care a bit themselves and not the collective. There's also very little hoolaganism in China.
As a person frequently travel between both counties, your choice is correct I think. especially during the kids are in primary education period.
Chris has definitely made a very wise decision. I wish him and his family success, good health and happiness.
You made a great decision brother 👏 🙌 👍 wish well never regret your kids will have better future 👍 😉 🎉
It is clean because it is state owned and there are laws against littering/grafitti AND you don't want to go against the state or breaking the law. In Singapore, there are similar laws and I hope the American (Michael Fay) that got caned learned his lesson and also to the rest of the world.
Putting childrens in the first is not only for them but for better future, better world!
Thank you for telling us what China looks like. I hope you and your kids enjoy Chinese culture and eat delicious food. You will be rewarded.
And most importantly, no stench in the stations!
中国的公共厕所都是免费🆓的,我看见欧洲很多厕所居然还要收费,我难理解这样的事情。
NO rats, no leakage of water from ceiling , no homeless people, no gangs, no crime ...............
Those rats are horrible!... There's so many of them they're like little ants but way bigger... Gross
The US takes wars to other countries but wars erupt from within too from neglect.

Think millions would love to have the choice that you have but it’s not easy though…
Im jealous of what you're doing, I am a father of 2 girls and married to a chinese woman living in Southern united states, We visited south china guangzhou, my wife's birthplace and fell in love with it, We've traveled up to Beijing and went to a few different provinces, It truly is a safe place, We had absolutely no concern While walking just about anywhere at any time of night, I love the people, No one bothered us except for some wanting to take photos with me😂, It's okay it didn't bother me Even if they looked at me where'd, I didn't feel danger, unlike in america you could literally lose your life just for being the wrong color, We will be visiting taiwan this year And hopefully next year back to china, I definitely want to get out of the united states before it kills me..... I love watching your videos. It makes me feel warm and comfortable knowing this can be done, It's amazing how my country has lied to me and its citizens about so many countries Especially china, Keep up the good work❤
Thank you, hope you can come back soon to visit

Wise choice and very lucky indeed ‼️please do enjoy your stay there👍
I’m from the UK, and one of my cousins, who is a doctor and lives in China for 20 years, once visited me. I invited him to move here and work for the NHS, but when he visited, he was like, 'What the hell is this, lol? I’m never going to live here! He was so disappointed. 😅
Thanks for your true video. I know more about China. ❤💯👍
Very wise decision. The legendary commodities trader, Jim Rogers raised his children in Asia, Singapore to be exact, that his present home with his wife. He knows that the 21 century is the Asian century so he wants his children to have options. BTW, the his kids speak fluent mandarin too. I wish I can live there too. Yep, too many gun violence here.
prosperity, that's what it is all about.
