    What a great video. Simple and to the point. I just picked one up to resell and you may have convinced me to keep it. Haha.

      Thank you, they are great for practicing mods and paint jobs. Way better than wpl used to be.

    Gudday from Australia 🦘🇦🇺
    Just got one of these for myself after getting my son an MN82 LandCruiser for Xmas.
    I've already started modding mine straight outta the box with stuff pretty much exactly the same as what you have done in this video 👌
    This came from my experience building and racing TAMIYA/KYOSHO/TEAM ASSOCIATED RC Buggies back in the 1980's using the same principles to gain extra performance.
    Liked and subscribed immediately, as I can see that you definitely know what you are doing in regards to proper real life mods that actually work performance wise 👏
    Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to checking out the rest of your videos, along with waiting to get the rest of the 13 different old model FMS/WPL/MN crawlers that I am waiting delivery!
    Why so many?
    Because the beauty of Australia being so close to China, I'm getting this exact same model for around $15USD delivered, and the really expensive FMS models for about $27USD delivered 😮
    At those prices, I may end up with way more in my collection!

      Awesome! It's a great platform for mods! I can’t believe u get them so cheap 👍. I would buy every one as well. I just finished painting mine and the video will be up soon. Thanks for checking out my channel

      Cheers mate from Aussie Bob!
      Missed your reply, but have spoken with each other on all my other comments on your other videos since 👍
      The next C-64 I have coming is the Red version, which I was planning on painting....... but I've already found some similar beautiful 1.3 red alloy/carbon fibre rims with INJORA Cling On 1.3 tyres, so will most likely just keep it the factory red !
      I've actually totally removed the front and rear springs altogether on my current white C-64 to run it at full drop and performs brilliantly, but looking to try out your cut and glued spring trick @@obrothersrcto see how that compares.
      All the best from Australia 🦘🇦🇺👍

    Man, you are trying to convince me to buy one. Lol. The mods you did made a huge improvement. Easy enough. As previously stated, have lots of cast off parts. And looking for a winter project. GRRR. The only thing that concerns me is the motor.
    Oh, a Dremel is a must have for any hobbyist. Have several dedicated for certain things. A 4000 variable speed with a flex shaft hangs over my RC workbench. Priceless.

      Im on the fence about making more upgrades to it. Its so much fun the way i have it. So i might actually buy another one and do the portals and a better motor. Ive heard the portals lower the gears ratio. Thanks for checking out the video.

    This makes me want to source the body and drop it on an AX8560 platform. Good stuff once again!

      The body really is fantastic. Lmk how it goes if you do

    Sick body like what you did. I'm a fan of the "axspeed" 2 speed scx24 transmission as it's labeled. However it has 17% od throwing that on all my builds without gearing options.

      @obrothersrc  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks, those are awesome transmissions. Ive been looking to do a build w one. Thanks for checking out the video

    Portals might raise it up some but the gearing might just be what the Dr. ordered.

      Yes I’ve heard they can lower the gear ratio on this truck. Thanks for checking out the video

    I just picked one up and it has a ton of binding issues did you already go through the axles? If so what did you do? And it seems yours is able to have a great steering angle and plenty of power what did you do there as well? Any suggestions would help greatly thanks!!!

    • @obrothersrc
      @obrothersrc  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine didn’t have any real issues out of the box. Everything i did to it is in the video. Sorry yours is not working. Thanks for checking out the video.

      I took the rear differential cover off with the pinion gear still in it, and then I kept it pressed against the axle cover with my thumb while I reattached the drive shaft to the end of the pinion gear. My pinion gear was slid in too far which was causing binding, yours might be too. Hope this helps.
      Theres videos about making it turn smoother too on here if you’re having issues with front binding and jumping while turning.
