Can you do a comparison review between the DD+ and DD1 for PS5 please. I don’t want to make the mistake of selling my DD1 for the DD+ if its not worth doing so. Thank you.
I hope this sees Fanatec return to form. I love their products and have never had any issues that weren’t user error. I’m currently using a DD Pro 8nm with the McLaren GT wheel, v3 pedals and Clubsport shifter. I use these on both GT7 and iRacing and could not be happier with the kit.

My experience is similar, CSL DD 8Nm, WRC wheel and both Clubsport & my personal favourite CSL Elite V2's. I would advise those wanting to purchase Fanatec equipment to choose the time of their purchase carefully. They are a small company and do things their own way, it's not a good idea to buy immediately after a product launch, as large volumes of orders overwhelm them somewhat. However under normal sales conditions they do a decent job and I've never waited more than a week for my purchases to arrive. Their equipment is well made, and has proved reliable.

Hi Michel, thank you for your review. Can you share your settings for GT7 you have used to dial in this wheel base?
I tried many different settings and combinations between the Fanatec Tuning Setup and GT7 Settings.
I basically ended up with Force Feedback Max. Torque: 7 and Force Feedback Sensitivity: 1 while having the standard profile 1 with 100% FFB.
But just play a bit with the sliders and use what feels best for the car and yourself. -Michel

You might want to test the Logitech G pro wheel on PS with GT7, your opinion might change on what is the best wheel.
Integrity and trust is a thing. If there's no integrity and trust, a company can claim anything and it means nothing.

I am still waiting for my UPS track and trace for my DD Plus base, but I already did receive the Clubsport DD Plus base at home 😂
You may have to wait longer than you like but they will get to you eventually. Or you could wait until the hype dies down and receive your order in around a week. I had to do that with the CSL DD 8Nm, the wait was worth it and it gives them time to iron out early production problems, all my Fanatec equipment has been reliable and great fun. Just have to bear in mind that the company doesn't do well with large volumes of sales, buy while they're not swamped with sales and you'll be good (in my experience)

We need this for the xbox series x now.
I just recently built a pc to get off my series x for sim racing. After getting a ps5 and using the same fanatec gear on both I realized how terrible Xbox does FFB and additional wheel features that work on ps5 don’t on Xbox and likely never will. Everything I race on Xbox is much better on pc.
Yeh i know Xbox dont do FFB and stuff not that great, and i would race on pc 90% of the time, but i have friends that play xbox only.@@mutha_fnmikey2325
fanatec base plus any xbox compatible wheels will work on xbox as far as I know
Moza It has a DD for xbox with 3.9 nm. Enough to play with and cheaper
For this price it would want to be compatible with the ps6 and gt8

Other than a small admin fee levied by UPS and exchange rate conversion fee what other import taxes are you talking about for UK customers? We're not charged VAT at point of purchase but instead pay via UPS prior to delivery. The only difference I can see is whether VAT is paid to UK or Germany.

Fanatec war nach Aussage des CEO von der hohen Nachfrage beim DD+ überrascht, so realitätsfern scheint der Preis also nicht zu sein 😅 Und viel günstiger ist die Konkurrenz bei ähnlichen Wheelbases auch nicht, plus die Sony Lizenz. -Michel

They shut down the servers of GT Sport, which is a completely seperate game from 2017. This didn't influence GT7

After seeing what Fanatec CEO said about their situation i will never buy anything from them. They don't care about customers.. only about money
They gave me a DD+ a Clubsport rs, formula 2.5 wheel and 3 QR2 for 1380€. This was the best deal i‘ve ever made. Just sayin
