My Healing Journey: I made it to the one year mark!! A full recap 12 months after double jaw surgery

I thought getting to one year post-op meant this whole recovery process would feel like it was behind me...but if there's one thing I've learned over the past 12+ months, it's that the journey never really ends. That said, I still wanted to reflect back on my experience so far and where I'm at today: the physical aspects, the mental/emotional ups and downs, bumps in the road I wasn't prepared for, and what comes next. (Plus, a quote from my grandpa that has really helped me through the challenging times!)
