@@user-cz7fj1hg9l The only thing I can think of if it’s not screwed on, there has to be a latch (latches) somewhere that hold it in place. Unless it’s glued on. Your best bet would be to search for a manual for your particular model to see how the assembly is held in place. Good luck!

This was so simple a fix !! But it took me a very long to find this one of a kind video. Its identical to my fridge. Just a suggestion more people who need may find faster if "Frigidaire " is in the title. Was actually a block of ice, water had frozen in the tray plugging exit.

Thanks to your video, my 1973 "Custom Crafted No Frost" Harvest Gold Hotpoint refrigerator is back to it's old self, with no water under the crisper pans. I would never have thought to check under that panel on the inside top of the fridge compartment and it took a Philips screwdriver. I'm 72 years old and on a fixed income and this saved me a ton of money and having to buy a smaller fridge. I know I'll have to replace it eventually, but not today. Thank you thank you thank you!

Thanks for the great video. I had some food particles that lodged further down the drain tube and I was unable to clean it out with a wire because the drain tube is not straight and narrows as it travels to the bottom. I was also unable to clean the tube from their bottom. What I did to clear the drain hose was to squirt liquid bleach into the top drain hole with a turkey baster and let it set until it cleared the blockage. I then rinsed it with plain water until the blockage was completely gone.

I got to feeling bad about selling a leaky fridge but so glad I found your video, which gave me (66 y/o grandma) the confidence to fix it! Turned out the bio-slime plug was lodge way down-inside the channel running inside the body of the fridge, so I snaked it out with some flexible wire, ran hot water through it using a long flexible funnel. Now I can sell this old fridge and not worry about it being someone else's problem.
