WATER at the Bottom of your FRIDGE .....EASY FIX

  • Hi, this video shows you a very easy fix for water collecting at the bottom of your fridge or on the floor by your refrigerator. You will probably have a blocked condensation drain. Clean it out with a Q-Tip (Cotton swab/bud) and if it is still blocked insert a long thin flexible bit of plastic or thin curtain wire. Make sure the fridge has been unplugged/disconnected from the electricity supply before inserting anything into the condensation drain hole.
    Many thanks Vince

Just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to share this video.
I'm one of those "more money than sense" types, when I bought my house last year the fridge came with it. It started to do this a few months ago so I assumed it was due to it being used goods. I almost impulse bought a new fridge today... seriously!! I'm so glad I watched this video first. Saved me a lot and I am feeling so much less stressed now lol!!!

Thanks Vince! I have been working to unclog my Leibehrr drain for a couple years (with a sponge in place to catch overflow) and never thought of using something flexible so I was only able to unclog the first 2-3 inches each time (worked once or twice). Today I used a pipe cleaner and got about 8 inches into the drain and it unclogged it. Yay! Saved me a min. of $135 service visit for my built-in frig.

That's such great advice. This evening cleared a second lot of water in two months. Thought I'd check on YT and your advice came true and sound. As soon as I put an ear bud to the hole I could hear water run down so I knew I'd cleared something. Will keep doing and also look for a longer plastic to go down there. Thanks 😊
