I was really feeling for your Thermarest when you were frying those sausages so near it! Mind you that food looked so much better (and heavier) than a dehydrated meal. I'm enjoying your videos since I found your channel. A tonic as my wild camping has been so disrupted by the events of this year.

I always look forward to your videos and watched it on the big screen👍 love the Aeros pillow, had one for years (well Ive had 2 because I punctured the first with a gas stove!) the Sea 2 Summit sleeping mats are great because they have 2 separate chambers, so if you were to puncture one side, you would have a back up. There's always a an extraordinarily soothing quality about your trips. Even the ones when you're in a howling gale, you Covey nothing but calm. My only anxiety is when you pull up in these quiet car parks, whether the car will still be there when you get back. Just a London thing perhaps 😉
I have to admit that the car parking is the only thing that concerns me. I try to pick places that are either off the beaten track or have busy passing traffic. I also make sure that there is nothing left showing in the car. Thank you for your kind words. Best wishes - Jiffy 👍🏻
How would you say the condensation is in such wet weather? Even better if you know for warmer weather. I know a lot of people struggle with condensation with Hilleberg tents. I'm highly considering getting this one and I've been debating just getting the mesh insert to help mitigate the condensation issues I hear about. Thanks for the video, was very informative! The sheep at the end were a super nice touch.
I haven’t had any major issues with condensation on the inner tent. I generally keep the inner open unless the weather gets really bad. Condensation does form on the inside of the outer though. To be honest though, I’ve had other, more ventilated tents that have had worse issues with it. A small 4 season tent is always going to have some condensation. I take a micro fibre towel with me just in case I need to give it a wipe down. I’ve never had a damp sleeping bag though 👍🏻

Like yourself I always pack my Tent and Tent Poles separately, however I never took the time to find out if it was ok to do so. That is worth a sub for taking the time to find out. I use the Dutch Army Sleeping bag slippers/socks made from a sort of Pertex Pile, no good for wearing around camp as were your's, but really toasty when worn in your Sleeping bag. All the best Wayne

I know I keep bangin’ on about condensation, but I hate wake up in a wet bag. Here in America, Idaho Russet potatoes are KNOWN to have absolutely the best taste/flavor. Idaho Potatoes are THE POTATO all other potatoes are measured up against. Hi can you help, I have a helium Ultralite tent with a silnylon fly and find sliding the pole into the sleeve very tight especially when wet.have you any recommendations as to making it easier? Eg WD40 or Silicone spray?? Thanks
Hi Neil. When dry you could try some talcum powder but not sure about the wet mate. I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the material. Perhaps it is best to contact the manufacturer and ask them. If you haven’t had the tent long, it could still be under a warranty, so perhaps if there is a design error, they will exchange it for you. I’ve had a few tents but never had this issue. ATB Jiffy 👍🏻
