    I think a huge improvement that could be made to these videos is to offer 1 or 2 possible solutions to the problems in these list videos. I love these videos so much and I think it would be great if they also provided some solutions you might not think about.
    Example: for the sleeping with the covers over your head, if you like the feeling of covers over your head but don’t want the negative effects of cutting off oxygen, consider a separate blanket, ear muffs, blindfold, or something like a scarf to cover your face without covering your nose and mouth.

  • @syllomusic
    @syllomusic ปีที่แล้ว +98

    Great pointers, I agree with most, but not with the skipping breakfast thing..
    The body has plenty of energy/fat reserved from previous days, unless you've been fasting (which is also great for you if done sensibly! I fasted 'til 5pm today and feel amazing).
    I wouldn't discourage someone from eating breakfast without knowing their full context, but if you just don't fancy having one, chances are you really don't need one, just drink water (and/or maybe sodium if you're a morning exerciser)

    • @shanessinging
      @shanessinging ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I'm glad you pointed this out. I tried looking for the references but none of them mention the point about skipping breakfast. I personally skip breakfast and start eating from 3/4pm to 9pm, everyday so intermitent fasting.

      about the no-breakfast habit: if you are not having any breakfast in the morning, just wake up and eat something. anything. as little as you want. so for example, maybe just have a quick candy - convenient and fast (candies aren't good for breakfast, but we're just trying to create a new habit here). eventually, level up your game by eating more. for example, have a toast (something with pastry) or some small fruit (bananas, some slices of prepared watermelon, you name it). eventually, you will reach a state where if you don't have breakfast every morning, your stomach will get extremely uncomfortable, and the only way to solve it is to have breakfast - and then you'll be forced (by your body) to eat something first thing in the morning

    I`m 13, ukrainian. And my mom works in serious news channel. My dad is currently in the capital, and we are in completely different Ukraine parts. And sometimes it happens that mom is talking with me as a fully grown person (maybe on a contrast with my little sister, we`re 10 years old difference). Our main topics of conversation is usually news. But here I see this video that tells that bad news can affect my brain. My god, thank you so much for telling that, I finally understand why I`ve been feeling so bad for such long amount of time. Almost forgot, the sun! It might be the reason too because there is fog for weeks! Thank you again

    i never socialize.
    i hate the lights
    My sleep schedule is non existent
    I sit in a chair looking at a screen all day at work and barely move, scrolling through toxic social media feeds.
    The only thing I don't do is blasting headphones - I like it just loud enough to be audible over ambient noise.

I isolated myself very much and cant even visit my mother which is angry with me right now and my only friend.

    Okay, yeah, I do relate to a lot of those habits.
    Regarding consuming too much negative news, even thou I don't watch news like at all, I can't run away from it sadly, because it's literally in every inch in were I live, no matter how many times I tried not to listen or think about them, I just end up failing.
    Ironically, the negative news is what always give me even more hard time, and which cose my illnesses :(
