I struggled alot with arguing and wanting to get my point across especially when I felt I was in the right. But than I learned this instead of arguing just say "THANKS I'LL TAKE A LOOK AT IT" and say it as sincere as possible and nothing else. You'll see it works and even be blown away by how the person reacts that u say it to. Learning to say that and nothing more has made it clear to me people's intentions. I've had them realize I wasn't upset and than they try harder to argue to get u out of character showing there true colors. And all u continue to say is THANKS I'LL TAKE A LOOK AT IT. If u can learn to say just that you'll always be in control. And this for me is a proven thing that really works. You just gotta smile and tell em thanks I'll take a look at it..

Socialisation and self care can impact on the way that you react. You will have to choose the right role models. If your parents were the types of parents to overreact, be concious that you aren't obliged to overreact like them. If you're the type of person who doesn't take breaks, lives too much in the past, and doesn't eat the right foods, try to change that. You have to become kinder to yourself and others. When you talk to someone and it turns into an argument, try to take pauses in between. You can leave the room to think about it more clearly. Try to reconsider if it's worth your energy, which can be used elsewhere. ( for example polishing your skills and increasing your knowledge.) Don't wait for peace in your environment; this will bring chaos in your mind. Try to become peaceful and resilient even in chaos. Try to build an interior peace; not an exterior peace.

Maybe someone already said this: do not be a victim of your past. No matter what it was that happened to you, try to tell yourself that you will not let it control you any longer. If you have someone to help you with this, it works even better. I helped my sister finally to stop doing this. Usual story-a rotten childhood. Sister 4 years older than me, so she took the brunt of the emotional & verbal abuse. She held onto those negative feelings for decades and it affected her attitude toward life. Yes, you could still think of yourself as broken; but as you hold on to this idea, years of your life are passing by while you let misery control you. You have to love yourself and think of all the positive aspects of your personality. Of course a therapist could help you along the way. Don’t let the weight of your misery hold you down. Think of it as a heavy boulder that you can toss away, so that you can feel a hundred lbs. lighter. And when you are lighter, walk on air to the next part of your life and never look back!

Number 5- finding a way to lower the stress level. I think and believe that a pet (for me,it's my pet French Bulldog) helps to achieve this in an amazing way. I used to get irked quite easily and it was causing me harm to my psychological and physiological health. Then I adopted Mishka,an adorable female Frenchie. Trust me,she acts like a sponge and soaks my tension and stress every single time. After a bad, tiring or unsuccessful day,I just come back home and spend time with her playing, talking and snuggling. After that,I feel as fresh as a daisy. The quality of my life has improved drastically.

This is nice, finding our roots really powerful way of understanding one's self. I am a reactive person until I get to know myself in a deeper level, study and accept yourself, my sister even told me start mothering yourself....we have to be very aware of how we react and interact in adulthood is a product of how we are raised and cared during childhood...So love, understand, study and accept yourself
Then improve for the better... Breathing is powerful tool to handle the day to day dynamics of people and situation that we face, back to our breath because Breath is one that God has gave us....we are form through Breath!!! Pray and.be thankful!!God bless us all

A very valuable video! Thank you so much! ❤💫
It also calmed me down and helped to understand that my emotions are really normal. And all you need to do is try to control them and not let them get the better of you
After all, it is you who should manage your emotions, not the other way around 🌱

I am a very sensitive person, and when put in a situation where voices have been raised, or I get into a little (usually not important) argument with my partner (or anyone) - I tend to cry. I’m going to try and put the things I’ve learned in this video into play and hope it helps me not react with tears every time. Thank you 😊

One of the thing reading the scriptures does for me is to help me not be sensitive.... try it , you will be shocked the wonders.
God's word helps us fights away those voices and help us reduce being emotional.... meaning you don't allow your feelings and emotions to control you.
I have a verse in my head to counter every insult etc.

I know why I’m feeling what I’m feeling is I’ve just educated myself on narcissism and I’m realizing that for most of my life I’ve been mentally abused and conditioned that I deserve to be treated that way because I was the escape goat. Some of my abusers have passed away so I can’t confront them and even if they were alive most likely they would deny any wrongdoing, which is what the still living people in my life would do. I understand other peoples frustration after having been abused and the abusers just get to walk away while the rest of us have to get help in order to work through our issues. I get folks but in order to move forward getting help is the only way we can work on changing our own lives and to be healthy. Those abusers are going to walk through life in denial without making any changes but we don’t have to, we are empaths and we can still reach out to give real love because that is who we are 👍💪💪💪✡️✡️✡️

same here. i let someone step on me for many years, yelling and insulting and disrespecting me, now i don’t want to let other people disrespect me so i get angry and my body gets scared so i start crying at the slight sign of disrespect… i don’t know how to keep my peace without letting people be disrespectful to me

    • @alimccreery755
      @alimccreery755 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@noemarie8 how do people respond when you start crying? Are you given the opportunity to let them know that they just disrespected you. I usually keep what’s called a poker face when I recognize that someone is being disrespectful to me or insulting. If I give it away I’m met with a smirk meaning “I got ya”. The last intimate relationship I had the guy finally pushed the ultimate button on me and I let him have it as food went flying in his car, only because I missed his face. I told him later over the phone that it wasn’t about the girl. It was because I came to the realization that he hurt my dog so actually he should count himself lucky that food was all he got. My little dog has sense passed away and I’m having to deal with a lot now. She never did anything to anyone to deserve what the two narcissists did to her, she was just a little dog full of love for everyone but what a perfect form of supply for these insane creatures. I stopped her a couple of times trying to kill a mouse while her cat friend egged her on. I never wanted her to get a feel for that even though she was the perfect breed that’s used for flushing out vermin. I miss her every day 😢💔

Every time you are presented with a challenge, think of it as a choice point. These moments are precious opportunities. Life will get more interesting if you evolve along the way. You already know the old tune. Ask yourself if it is time for a new one.

I live in the Uk and people are always angry loud and over the top they tend to be quite rude aggressive and disrespectful to the point that if they don’t like you they will immediately result to insult and mockery you do not have to do anything and suddenly they become triggered. I have even been out in public when I have had people scream and get angry at me just for walking down the street. and yet I don’t do anything but mind my own business.

It is good to have no reaction but after long time those emotion will come back in more painful way.
As for me i never reacted in any event. And now i easily get annoyed and in the chat (when i am not face to face with anyone) i vent all my angers frustration, which make me look totally different from real life.
    And it is painful sometimes.

Always ask myself "will this matter tomorrow? A week? A month? A year?
Will my reaction make it better or worse?
And if i do react , is it easy to take back? (Ex. Yell at my kid because he upsetted me. I can apologize and actively work on improving it before he's old enough for it to affect our relationship) OR (ex.2 if my reaction is to yell at my boss because I'm upset/overwhelmed. I will lose my job which spiral my life further out of control , and whatever it was didn’t even matter after the moment passed)

  • @taraled

Here's my issues. First I'm not always capable of doing any of this . Because I go from A to B in 0 point 1 seconds. Like there's no time to even be rational .
Next . When I let it go. Or try to discuss not argue with the person , even days later they absolutely will not do anything but argue. They want it dropped , ignored and to pretend it never happened. So then I stew about it and get more mad. And they say " you always go on and on "

Omg I relate to this so much! :`)
Had similar thoughts after watching. Like Idk how to think about before giving the reaction, or taking 5 seconds or anything. If I got mad at something I'll let it out in an automatic response I cannot control. Idk what to do lol

Remember:- Not every situation is worth controlling our emotions. There are situations that sometimes you really need to outburst but decently, just channelise your emotions. Learn how to show your anger.
But the choice is you can stay unreactive to most bullshits in this world unless it is affecting you directly.
