The way Batman clenched his fists at 20:27 and pushed through after coughing up blood shows a lot about his character. It shows he's determined to complete his mission despite him slowly dying from joker's poison. Also shows he ain't gonna let anything stand in his way. Good on you Batman

Arkham city is still my favorite videogame of all time. It's so damn good. The music, the gameplay, the story telling, the atmosphere... Amazing.

Bakunin He's not saying that as a good thing though (I guess). He's saying that there was a lot of cinematics and cutscenes but not enough elements to make it feel like a better version of previous games, wich of course it is in some aspects, I just was disappointed by the boss battles and some things of the story.
The way you play is just amazing. The way you tackle each room and encounter with such finesse... Glorious!
Wonder City reminds me a lot of Rapture from the Bioshock series. Both were built as an attempt to run away from the self-destructive surface, and both contained technology way ahead of its time.
And both fell to ruin due to the actions of their founders.

Incredible boss fight, I loved how it excellently switched between Ra's world and the real world! The soundtrack is awesome as well!

The final duel when it shifts between the sand world and the real world gives me legit chills every single time

The near death experience scene of

gates of heaven with the music was the best scene in the ArkhamVerse series.

Oh gosh, I'm getting flashbacks to that awful "The Killing Joke" movie.
His Archer Meh, "The Killing Joke" was okay. Watching Batgirl fight was fine, but the whole segment felt like it came from a different movie compared to the tone of the actual "Killing Joke" material.
Also, I think the art style could have been different to capture the comic's intense expressions (the Joker's especially), but I guess it would have been harder to animate.

The Jason Todd story for Arkham Knight is starting to make perfect sense when you look at the interaction between Tim and Bruce when Tim saves him from the ninjas. You realize just from that conversation that Bruce is still reeling from the video Joker sent him of him killing Jason, and he doesn't want Tim getting hurt too, which is why Bruce gives him the mission of finding out who's been infected with Joker's blood in Gotham. Also, I never knew Ra's Al Ghul was such a talented speaker, given the fact that that's his voice introducing Wonder City to the world. Also, whoever wrote that Bruce doesn't deserve Talia, you're right. Talia is even more insane than Ra's, and she blindly follows his orders without giving it them a second thought. Not to mention the fact that she drugged and raped Bruce so that Ra's would have a successor.
Where does it confirm that she rapee Bruce?

Damien was basically a cruel method of ensuring Ra’s had a suitable heir to the League of Assassins. And if Bruce wasn’t going to willingly join the League, then Ra’s had to use Bruce’s relationship with Talia.

Ra's al Ghul is my favorite Batman villain. Joker's interesting and all, but seeing a hero go up against someone super abnormal just takes the cake for me. Bonus points if said enemy is the hero's spiritual opposite.

I've never understood this challenge. Does everyone who takes this challenge have to glide around a map or is each persons' challenge different?

Maybe the challenge depends on the typer of person who takes it, like Ra's or the challenge itself knows Batman and how he always glides around areas and decides the whole gliding thing would be a good fit. If its another person who doesn't do that but rather does parkour or something else by transportation it gives them a different map that fits them, or maybe im just overthinking this and anybody else who takes the challenge is instantly screwed if they dont got a Bat Cape.

@@sarsona_3611 yeah I feel like that's the case. People who do parkour like Nightwing or red hood would probably be able to interact with more foreign obstacles but if you're gliding like batman, you completely can't touch anything other than the platforms that emerge from the ground.

The moment where Bruce sees his parents I was like 😱 when I first played this game and his mom pleading for him to step into the light, just shows how much Bruce was pushed to his limits here
The Wonder City locale, and the kunoichi and the demon trials, look better than ever. And Talia looks better in rendering than she did in the original... still doesn't replace the fact that I hate her guts, but they can't change me.

Ra's and Talia get a rather exposition laden introduction here, they ideally should have had their own game before being put in this way with so much backstory to bring people up to speed on.
