Honestly, they should’ve reskinned Nightwing’s first-person darts to be a sniper rifle for Deathstroke. The implication would be if you shoot them in the head they immediately die but if you shoot them anywhere else, he would’ve hit them in a nonlethal spot and just fall over in pain.

Yes, someone else misses the Red Robin suit! I've actually liked that suit since I saw comic art of it. It surely would have looked amazing in Arkham Knight, and being able to wear it in Robin's Arkham Episode would have been a little reference to the "Batman RIP" story.
The one thing that's unforgivable about Nightwing is that they didn't give him a takedown animation on shock baton thugs where he juggles it with his escrima sticks. Also, Catwoman and Harley can walk on tightropes in Arkham Knight but the collision for it is pretty buggy.
I was mad they didn’t let deathstroke have a gun while playing as him. Or not being able to use his sword. Probably to maintain the T rating. Still this makes me want a deathstroke game.
A Deathstroke game would be amazing. His depiction in Arkham is such a wasted opportunity with how much potential the character has. Give him his dual swords and guns.
Probably because they hadn't quite figured out how to make those kinds of weapons work for the freeflow combat. You'll notice Arkham Joker only gets one shot, and Jason has to actually stand in place and unload several (How they eventually got around the damage the guns theoretically do, by having it be a long-form interruptable). As for swords the only time you use a sword in the Arkham games as I recall is against Clayface and his little clay minions who are chopped apart with every hit, which even suspended the T-rating would mean having to create a whole "dismemberment" system for would probably have slaughtered the game's tone and probably would have made freeflow combat harder as you wouldn't have thugs to combo off of.
Small correction: Deathstroke doesn't have the reverse claw (or however it is called) just like Batman, he had it in the first place and Batman stole it from him after their boss battle.
He meant in his arsenal in their respective gameplay experiences. The experiences feel the same bc they both have the same thing when you play as them.
If you ask me, Red Hood comes as close as to playing the Punisher in a game based on Arkham Knight's style. I mean, could you imagine if we got a Punisher game that was like Arkham City and Knight? Or better yet, a Spawn game that's similar to City and Knight?
Also I think Nightwing comes as close as it gets to playing as Daredevil in an Arkham style game. Could you imagine that? Arkham style Daredevil game, swinging through the city in the rain with amazing graphics?
Open world Spawn would be imo the best goddamn comic book game you could make. Don't hold back on the gore but still allow Spawn to be nonlethal on certain opponents, call up Keith David, and you got me.
Nightwing in City felt like his own hero with his own tools of the trade. In Knight, he is nerfed so hard to the point I don't play him at all for predator encounters. In Arkham City, he's the most unique, and he's actually fun in that game
a fun thing about catwoman is that you dont have to crouch behind an opponent, her running is silent. so you can straight up run behind the enemy and silent takedown them
Red Hood would be way better if he didn't have to fire his guns 13 times. If he could just quickly pop a guy, and continue beating the others, he'd feel a lot better imo. Obviously they would have to give the guns a cooldown maybe so it's not too broken or maybe a limited amount of ammo, and Jason would have to reload after a number of shots. Maybe tie it to his combo meter somehow? Idk
This guy doesn't know wtf he's talking about, he's acting like you have to shoot all the time with RH, you Don't, it's just an option. All the other "options" you have as Batman ends the same way, they end up unconscious. Since Bruce doesn't kill, he needs a million different ways to disarm people. Jason doesn't play with bad guys, he eliminates them, so of course he would have let moves than batman since he doesn't fuck around.
7:23 I wonder why they added Bruce as a playable character in a batman game, are they related 🤔 wait a minute, maybe he knows the secret identity of batman
Red Hood isn't the tank you would expect him to be because he was tortured for a whole year. If you look at the way he stands and walks, you'll notice that he has a permanently bowed back from the combination of being tied up with barbed wire and hung up by his wrists which definitely dislocated his shoulders. Basically the guy is a torture survivor who is still fucking kicking ass.
I don't really know why, but my favorite character to play as is Batgirl. I like the fluidity in her fighting style and she gets disarm and destroy which is always welcome. But yeah. She's just Batman.
Yeah, they stepped it up when animating Batgirl’s movements and takedowns. That’s why she feels more satisfying to play with than the rest of the characters
Arkham city Nightwing was peak, I really wish they gave his wing gliders from the New Adventures series. It killed me how they nerfed him in Knight. Oh wow they updated him with the RC gun, fantastic, can we get his darts back?
With the mullett to complete the animated look..that skin was still really clean. He needs a game with his own story not like gotham knights and maybe centered in bludhaven.
Catwoman is my favourite, her speed is so fun. The running instead of crouching to take people down and the free flow is sooo fast. Also Catwoman’s their vision is just her pulling her high tech goggles down. If you look at her face when she is in it, you see then goggles over her eyes😊
the saddest things about these exctra characters is that Deathstroke and Azrael never used their signature weapons except as enemies-- the sword. AND the fact that BATMAN himself uses one briefly towards the end of City... and then just throws it away. That makes sense for his character, but it would have been nice to have the option to use it somehow in free roam, as it added a really interesting flair to combat. Although, I guess If I really wanted that, i could just go play the Middle Earth games instead. Eru above, those games are freaking fun. I need another.
The devs for the Middle Earth games are making a Wonder Woman game, so your wish may *just* come true, albeit in a different form than you expect. Of course, they may just take away her sword and shield, but we'll just have to see.
you know it's funny, in middle earth i always wished talion could punch just because it would be fun to be able to weaken myself, and in arkham knight i always wish azrael had his sword just because it would be fun to be able to make him stronger
Oh how I wish so much that Arkham Knight still received updates. Like honestly they could monetise it a bit if that helped and people would absolutely pay (if enough was included to warrant it) My main ask would be that they made the other characters playable in the open world… even if that meant adding and tweaking a few mechanics to make traversing the map actually possible/practical.
There's so many outfits the game is still missing for other characters. Robin, Catwoman and Harley never got their looks from previous games, and Harley has a plethora of other outfits that could've been DLC around the time the game came out (Suicide Squad movie, Injustice outfits, New 52). I get the game is a BATMAN game but the other characters barely getting additional outfits at best, or none at all at worst is still kind of disappointing
@@colmecolwag Don't get too excited, it's just a tie in for the Switch port. Rocksteady is too busy trying to desperately salvage what they can in their Suicide Squad game to have time to plan a new Batman game.
Nah, red hoods definitely approved tier for me anyway, he has a unique fighting style that mixes the training he got as Robin, but has his own spin on that aswell, he doesnt care about the no killing rule, he doesnt let the villians get any chance batman would give or has gave them to get free again, he has the most brutal takedowns and honestly he felt like he was on some good good because he is way more swift and fast paced in hand to hand and will make deadshot and deathstroke look like circus clowns from how deadly he is with range and close quarters fighting
I think, Azerel is probably the most disappointing character. Even with how disappointing knight wing is in Arkham knight, at least he has at least one or two unique gadgets still. Azriel is just a worse version of Batman. So this so I would’ve fixed it: First, before you even meet Azriel, in his subplot, you can learn at the GCPD, that a crate full of Batman/super villain evidence has been stolen: • A Couple Batarangs (Batman throws enough of those that criminals and doesn’t go back to pick them up. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if the GCPD got a hold of one or two.) • The Shock Gloves • Prototype Freeze Grenades • Deathstroke’s grappling gun You figure out once you start playing as Azriel, that he was the one who broke into the police station and took the weapons (seeing as he was once an officer, he could definitely sneak his way in.) In addition, by using whatever materials he could get his hands on, he built replicas of some of Batman’s gadgets: • Explosive Gel Gun (Origins: Blackgate) • Ultra Bat-Claw • Sonic Batarang And, as a fun callback, he still has access to the remote control Batarang Batman through at him in Arkham City Since he simply reusing gadgets from throughout the series, it seems within the realm of possibility that he could have all of these, since they would just have to re-create the assets, but it would make him feel unique, and now I having him use gadgets that are familiar to us long time fans of the series (as he uses gadgets used in all three prior Arkham games. That way he still feels like a Batman rip off, but unique from this specific playable Batman.)
Honestly, Batgirl is the most satisfying to play with. Her takedown animations feel a lot smoother and more satisfying than the ones we’re used to. They really stepped it up when making her character
Her stealth feels a little more unique too, with the whole usage of thw Remote Hacking Device to hack certain things to do blackouts (which prompts you for a Ambush Takedown which is her version of the fear takedown) and distractions, and its like the disruptor, but sort of different
Really, cause I can't take her seriously, even in a video game, a girl who weighs like 90 lbs, skinny as a scarecrow, somehow choking out behemoths who look like they weigh the same as Bane.
@@theoutlawking9123igy completely but for me that just makes me avoid open brawls and be more strategic with her. My only problem with Babs is that in the comics she has the best looking costumes and in the game you only get one skin for her
I kind of disagree with Harley's placement, I think she's atleast rock-solid. I find it not so bad to work around her loud-takedowns and her limited gadgets are pretty effective with how multi purpose they are. The bomb attracts goons functioning as her own lure that also works as a killing explosive gel. The Snare traps work as a baterang the way you can quick fire them, but also functions as a freeze grenade the way it traps people for long periods of time, it can help a lot with escaping situations. I love her movement and i find her to feel pretty nice to control once you've played her for a while (I'm a little bit of a harley quinn fan so she's by far my most played character)
Exactly. The guy thinks that if they aren't brain dead easy like City's Nightwing, or aren't one for one Batman they suck. Quinn requires you to play her differently than the rest of the cast. She's probably the hardest not because she's awkward, but because she requires a different perspective of play.
Harley is one of the most overrated and garbage tier characters to grace consoles. The comics make her out to be way more important than she actually is, she is an obnoxiously dumb and awful character.
@@RetroActivityGaming Harley quinn is a great character you’ve obviously just never ingested media that portrayed her correctly. That or you just don’t like women which either way sounds like a you problem
Arkham city made me want a catwoman game so badly. Like yes Batman is objectively the better playable character. He just has way more versatility and gadgets because he’s the star. But catwoman was so much more fun to play as! And imagine a more close-quarters open world game where you’re a thief and you get quests from people to retrieve items and have to find your own way to do it, without the game telling you “you can do it loud or quiet, here are your 2 options”. You just know the location and it’s your job to figure out how you’ll get in and out. Trial and error, and homework. You have to case the place to learn peoples movements, or you can improvise and just run in and hope for the best. You steal stuff on your own time as well, just to sell to vendors to get new gear and stuff. Have your own player home you can decorate, etc. like a fully-fledged open world RPG. But less vertical of an open world due to her limitations. Hence the close-quarters type of world. You’re not Batman flying above the city quickly. Or they could just give her a better way to traverse the map to fix that. But it would just be a really fun and different experience.
And obviously theft wouldn’t be the ONLY thing you can do. There would be tons of different quests, which determine your moral compass and whatnot. I think it would be a real challenge to make a game like that, but could be so good if done right.
I've always been wanting a (modern) catwoman game!!! That ps2 game was my obsession as a kid, even if it is objectively trash lol. I so badly hope we get a catwoman game.
@@gothgrrl8711 I think it just doesn’t sell well. The majority of gamers are men, so they’re trying to tailor everything to them. Which is unfortunate, because other games would still sell. But they want to maximize profits… it does seem every year more and more women are gaming though, so let’s hope in the future companies will realize there’s a huge market in it! I mean a lot of guys loved playing as catwoman. But I don’t know if they’d buy a game that ONLY lets you play as catwoman, because I feel they would market it towards women. Which would turn a lot of guys off. They need to realize they just need to market towards gamers. Not a specific gender.. I always play as female characters when given the option.
I agree with you on Deathstroke. They really made him non Deathstroke. He’s in the series for an hour and is basically gone. He’s the only playable mercenary too and it still feels like they did him dirty. Really makes me feel sad and wonder if they had bigger plans for him at the beginning.
I think technically in Origins they didn't just have bigger plans for him, but for a lot of other villains, too- If I remember right a lot of the staff came out and said that you were actually supposed to be able to free roam and play in challenge maps as multiple villains, but they ended up being crunched for time and it only came out as the online mode and Deathstroke in challenge maps. There's actually also a recoverable, mostly finished Joker for use in challenge maps that people found by modding the game.
Arkham city cat woman was my absolute favorite to play easily with her unique stealth mechanics and traversal. I’m so glad arkham city let her play in the open world
Most playable characters in Knight will get higher score if all of them has Disarm and Destroy takedown. Especially for those who enjoy the endless map in Knight, it will get absolutely horrible after a while and fills with shield and electronic baton enemies
I always love Arkham Asylum the most because there wasn't exactly any invisible walls so you could basically kill your enemies. That is the only reason no Invisible Walls and I don't understand why they added them to the future Arkham Games.
The other characters get left behind in Knight. In some maps they just switch out enemies they can't deal with for 2 riot shields. Some challenge maps just become riot shield combat forever
Nightwing in Arkham Knight has the best combat period. He has the grapple special move, the one for the electric gun, all his original ones, the best free flow, environmental moves, and more. He is still capable in predator as well. As for Red hood, the guy may have been character assassinated in the story, but his gameplay deserved more time!
The one thing I really liked about red hood was his ability to do beat downs from range. After using the stub base you can just enter a beat down animation from across the arena
In general he is also just the best character of them all. His silent takedowns are extremely fast he is capable of killing enemies in one shot with his unlimited ammo duel guns.
I like the Red Hood Arkham episode, sure the enemies were put there with him in mind and yes the combat is also made for him but in my defense the Arkham Knight suit just goes that hard
It gets even worse when you take into account that in the comics Azrael has super strenght and uses blades and other deadly weaponry. Like, god damnit, this guy is super human, make him FEEL super human
Jason was the f**kin' Arkham Knight, WHERE ARE HIS GADGETS?! Not even the smoke canisters he actually USES to escape an early confrontation with Batman (the one with the mutual choke-hold) made it in! Neither the red nor blue visors have any interesting HUD elements to match their flashy visual designs! Come ON, how sick would it have been if he could use his batclaw derivative to pull goons close to him so he could give their skulls a nice new dent with either his bulky AK arm guards or whatever armor he's hiding under his RH jacket? The guns are cool, but it's basically all he has! He plays super differently from all the others, and he STILL manages to feel same-y after a while.
Personally, I think Red Hood would be much more fun if they improved his shooting animation, the firing animation, and the firing sound effect. The whole time it didnt feel like I was actually "shooting" a gun, it never had the "oomph" I expected Red Hood to have. I honestly first thought that he was using rubber bullets and was knocking everyone out, that's how little of an impact the gun felt like it had.
It would’ve been sick if Nightwing had the remote claw from Origins. He could’ve stolen it from the bat cave when he and Batman had their falling out and this would be how Dick and Deathstroke meet, Slade tried to get his remote claw back but failed.
I gotta say, I'd put Red Hood in rock solid. I love his simplified combat, as it's fitting for the character. I actually love doing stealth with him, as Red Hood encourages you do get loud in takedowns, scare opponents and make them actively sweep the area for you while you pick them off one by one. Like, they can hear you, but if they see you, it's too late for them.
Bro you missed the 2 most important characters! What about gordon amd hush during their 3 minute playable time in knight! They have so much variety and unique moves😒😒😒 😂😂😂
Yeah catwoman on city is just smooth as hell. I love her whip to traverse the map with and then pouncing up the building to go the rest of the way. Her flips to evade, just all of her animations are so nicely done.
12:57 well, if there were any character that should be able to walk a tight-rope, it’d be the acrobatic-turned-superhero, Dick Grayson and his various aliases, but I agree that Catwoman not being able to use the tightrope is bullshit. 😅
Personally I think the problem in Knight’s characters wasn’t enough personalization. I feel like other than maybe some having batarangs and capes each character should have a totally different arsenal and special move set. Like Harley could have a high combo move where she just swings around her bat and temp knocks everyone near her, or batgirl could have some more technological gadgets, but I think switching up a few gadgets and keeping virtually the same moves was a poor choice… but then again I love this game it’s still fun
Batgirls grate takedowns are loud but apply a fear takedown effect, allowing her to takedown an enemy in front of other enemies. There are times where you'll still be punished, but there's a fine line, I just forgot where that line is since it has been a while.
i absolutely love Deathstroke as a playable character, despite his flaws. Reason being that he is the heaviest and slowest in freeflow, and his Y-B takedowns are really brutal and unique. Picking up speed with him in freeflow just has this graceful brutality along with his mass.
First. Love seeing the Batman stuff, would you consider doing more rewrites for some more Bat-family centric stories because they don't get enough love in the mainstream and especially in the Arkham Verse and that is something that needs to be fixed (I don't actually care what you do as long as you feature Bat-Cow)
pretty sure the reason azrael is alot like batman is because he has literally been stealing his way of fighting and studied him for years. it only makes sense he’d be just a reskin imo.
My personal ranking is Deathstroke and Nightwing are still my two favorite DLCs (city specifically for Nightwing). Slade to me is "the cooler Robin". Everything you dislike about his gameplay is what i love. I hope someday Origins gets a re-release for modern fans who missed him Grayson is just plain awesome, he's still my personal favorite to play as and I love his city suit.

The one thing that's unforgivable about Nightwing is that they didn't give him a takedown animation on shock baton thugs where he juggles it with his escrima sticks. Also, Catwoman and Harley can walk on tightropes in Arkham Knight but the collision for it is pretty buggy.
i think i have managed to walk on a rope once with catwoman
Harley isn’t playable in City

I was mad they didn’t let deathstroke have a gun while playing as him. Or not being able to use his sword. Probably to maintain the T rating. Still this makes me want a deathstroke game.
@Witch_Hunter_Siegfried88 well they didn’t let Deathstroke have a gun or even use his sword… so idk why either.
At least they gave him a healing factor and the ability to punch through walls
A Deathstroke game would be amazing. His depiction in Arkham is such a wasted opportunity with how much potential the character has.
Give him his dual swords and guns.
Probably because they hadn't quite figured out how to make those kinds of weapons work for the freeflow combat. You'll notice Arkham Joker only gets one shot, and Jason has to actually stand in place and unload several (How they eventually got around the damage the guns theoretically do, by having it be a long-form interruptable).
As for swords the only time you use a sword in the Arkham games as I recall is against Clayface and his little clay minions who are chopped apart with every hit, which even suspended the T-rating would mean having to create a whole "dismemberment" system for would probably have slaughtered the game's tone and probably would have made freeflow combat harder as you wouldn't have thugs to combo off of.
definitely Jonkler, no one other than him could hit the griddy in the franchise
Why can’t anyone else hit the griddy? Are they stupid?
Infamous griddy takedown

If you ask me, Red Hood comes as close as to playing the Punisher in a game based on Arkham Knight's style. I mean, could you imagine if we got a Punisher game that was like Arkham City and Knight? Or better yet, a Spawn game that's similar to City and Knight?
Also I think Nightwing comes as close as it gets to playing as Daredevil in an Arkham style game. Could you imagine that? Arkham style Daredevil game, swinging through the city in the rain with amazing graphics?
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 4, get on with it!

Nightwing in City felt like his own hero with his own tools of the trade. In Knight, he is nerfed so hard to the point I don't play him at all for predator encounters. In Arkham City, he's the most unique, and he's actually fun in that game
a fun thing about catwoman is that you dont have to crouch behind an opponent, her running is silent. so you can straight up run behind the enemy and silent takedown them
Actually Batgirl is pretty much Asylum Batman in Arkham Knight. Which is pretty neat.
Joker should be toppest tier.
Why? Because he kicks a dude in the balls hits the griddy and then dies.
😂😂
🤯🤯
@@diegopansini3152 I can tell. They are all really smooth animations and she obviously seems more nimble than Batman.

I absolutely loved playing as batgirl yes she comes off as a batman clone but playing as my all tome favorite female character is just great
The way she uses leverage to compensate for her lack of raw strengths made me fall in love immediately
Yea I love her animations, to me they make her so unique it's great, but I also agree everyone should have their own unique gadgets
Both Arkham Knight and Gotham Knights had weird traversal for Nightwing when he has a wingsuit in the comics. That would have been something at least
What's unique to only Deathstroke is in predator modes. He's the only one that can break a vent without button mashing or sliding into a vent
Also passive regen and apparently hits a little harder.
Catwoman is my favourite, her speed is so fun. The running instead of crouching to take people down and the free flow is sooo fast.
Also Catwoman’s their vision is just her pulling her high tech goggles down. If you look at her face when she is in it, you see then goggles over her eyes😊
The thing I hate about thief vision is that you can’t tell which goon is which in knight which makes dealing w medics and mine layers hell
@@hansluuv while it is annoying, it's something that sets her apart from batman so i can at least appreciate that in a sort of roundabout way
the saddest things about these exctra characters is that Deathstroke and Azrael never used their signature weapons except as enemies-- the sword.

Oh how I wish so much that Arkham Knight still received updates.
Like honestly they could monetise it a bit if that helped and people would absolutely pay (if enough was included to warrant it)
My main ask would be that they made the other characters playable in the open world… even if that meant adding and tweaking a few mechanics to make traversing the map actually possible/practical.

Exactly, he's so good. Not to mention he's the only character with a ranged Beatdown. He just feels so unique in all areas fr
Same it feels so satisfying playing as red hood. I love his brawling fighting style.
Exactly, best character in the whole series yet this clown put him in 3rd place, goddamn idiot.
I think, Azerel is probably the most disappointing character. Even with how disappointing knight wing is in Arkham knight, at least he has at least one or two unique gadgets still. Azriel is just a worse version of Batman.
So this so I would’ve fixed it:
First, before you even meet Azriel, in his subplot, you can learn at the GCPD, that a crate full of Batman/super villain evidence has been stolen:
• A Couple Batarangs (Batman throws enough of those that criminals and doesn’t go back to pick them up. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if the GCPD got a hold of one or two.)
• The Shock Gloves
• Prototype Freeze Grenades
• Deathstroke’s grappling gun
You figure out once you start playing as Azriel, that he was the one who broke into the police station and took the weapons (seeing as he was once an officer, he could definitely sneak his way in.)
In addition, by using whatever materials he could get his hands on, he built replicas of some of Batman’s gadgets:
• Explosive Gel Gun (Origins: Blackgate)
• Ultra Bat-Claw
• Sonic Batarang
And, as a fun callback, he still has access to the remote control Batarang Batman through at him in Arkham City
Since he simply reusing gadgets from throughout the series, it seems within the realm of possibility that he could have all of these, since they would just have to re-create the assets, but it would make him feel unique, and now I having him use gadgets that are familiar to us long time fans of the series (as he uses gadgets used in all three prior Arkham games. That way he still feels like a Batman rip off, but unique from this specific playable Batman.)
I've honestly always liked Nightwing in combat because he hits so quickly, and with such satisfying sounds.
Honestly, Batgirl is the most satisfying to play with. Her takedown animations feel a lot smoother and more satisfying than the ones we’re used to. They really stepped it up when making her character
If only we got to use her more
Her stealth feels a little more unique too, with the whole usage of thw Remote Hacking Device to hack certain things to do blackouts (which prompts you for a Ambush Takedown which is her version of the fear takedown) and distractions, and its like the disruptor, but sort of different
My only problem with Babs is that in the comics she has the best looking costumes and in the game you only get one skin for her
@@theoutlawking9123that’s basically the size difference between Batman and Bane tbh, except Batgirl and Average Goon

Sorry for the spelling errors
I so badly hope we get a catwoman game.
i always wanted it too but they don't want girls to win...
So uh
Who's gonna tell em?
I agree with you on Deathstroke. They really made him non Deathstroke. He’s in the series for an hour and is basically gone. He’s the only playable mercenary too and it still feels like they did him dirty. Really makes me feel sad and wonder if they had bigger plans for him at the beginning.
they literally turned bro into 'Stroke' 💀

The other characters get left behind in Knight. In some maps they just switch out enemies they can't deal with for 2 riot shields. Some challenge maps just become riot shield combat forever

In Arkham Asylum, Batman can’t jump through windows either…
Robin doesn't have his staff beatdown from ArkhamCity in ArkhamKnight, its just a regular Batman beatdown
For predator he got nerfed to shit. He shouldve had his wing dings and Wrist darts
@@you-5-iver804 he should have had his wrist darts. The wing ding was pointless and ridiculous tho.
The one thing I really liked about red hood was his ability to do beat downs from range. After using the stub base you can just enter a beat down animation from across the arena
I thought red hood was a complete badass in Arkham Knight the way he dressed and he actually killed his enemies something that batman would never do
In general he is also just the best character of them all. His silent takedowns are extremely fast he is capable of killing enemies in one shot with his unlimited ammo duel guns.
Stop crouching with catwoman! Just run! They cant hear you either way!

Anyway there's reason to crouch as Catwoman. It makes you harder to see, and the animation is nice.
@@TheFirstCurse1We all like her crouching.
I like the Red Hood Arkham episode, sure the enemies were put there with him in mind and yes the combat is also made for him but in my defense the Arkham Knight suit just goes that hard
Red hood was the most fun for me, the fact that he could just straight up shoot people made him incredibly effective
You forgot to mention that the red hood has the quickest silent takedown in the franchise
21:05 “what do you mean you people?”
O would put Red Hood in rock solid considering he has the fastest and coldest silent takedowns
Do not let bro cook again💀

FR bro just yapping 💀💀. most of this makes no sense, cause the fundamental mechanics are very similar for the majority of characters
I wish bane was a playable character in origins other than online

It would’ve been sick if Nightwing had the remote claw from Origins. He could’ve stolen it from the bat cave when he and Batman had their falling out and this would be how Dick and Deathstroke meet, Slade tried to get his remote claw back but failed.
Red hood = left trigger make gun go boom boom
I gotta say, I'd put Red Hood in rock solid. I love his simplified combat, as it's fitting for the character. I actually love doing stealth with him, as Red Hood encourages you do get loud in takedowns, scare opponents and make them actively sweep the area for you while you pick them off one by one. Like, they can hear you, but if they see you, it's too late for them.
You can literally do this with any character using a knock out smash, that’s why the knockout smash is there

Trust bro Deathstroke is gonna be the first DLC character in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League
😉
Batgirl is meant to be basic, her story takes place before Arkham Asylum.
We all know the REAL reason why this man put Catwoman at the top of the list
Batgirls grate takedowns are loud but apply a fear takedown effect, allowing her to takedown an enemy in front of other enemies.
There are times where you'll still be punished, but there's a fine line, I just forgot where that line is since it has been a while.
Nightwing for sure is my #1.
i absolutely love Deathstroke as a playable character, despite his flaws. Reason being that he is the heaviest and slowest in freeflow, and his Y-B takedowns are really brutal and unique. Picking up speed with him in freeflow just has this graceful brutality along with his mass.
This was a great ranking IMO. I have a few minor disagreements, but otherwise its very close to how I would rank all the characters as well
It’s a shame the Arkham origins multiplayer characters aren’t playable outside that mode. Bane, Joker and Robin from that game would be interesting

First.
Love seeing the Batman stuff, would you consider doing more rewrites for some more Bat-family centric stories because they don't get enough love in the mainstream and especially in the Arkham Verse and that is something that needs to be fixed (I don't actually care what you do as long as you feature Bat-Cow)
Azrael could've been unique if he had the sword, wounding targets to neutralize them
Catwoman and harley can definitely go on tight ropes
you kicked a guy in the balls, did the griddy, and didn't die!
Azrael needs no cape. HE FLIES WITH THE POWER IF GOD.
If u pay attention to Azreals throwable weapon it’s literally just a batarang, no knife that looks like a cross, like they missed a huge opportunity
10:02 THE REMOTE CLAW IS HIS REMEMBER
pretty sure the reason azrael is alot like batman is because he has literally been stealing his way of fighting and studied him for years. it only makes sense he’d be just a reskin imo.
deathstroke could have been so damn cool. imagine if he had a sword and it was smth like god of war. that wouldve been sick.
At least he can regenerate his health and plus he can rip the vent with one button, whereas batman you have to repeatedly mash the button.
My personal ranking is
Deathstroke and Nightwing are still my two favorite DLCs (city specifically for Nightwing). Slade to me is "the cooler Robin". Everything you dislike about his gameplay is what i love. I hope someday Origins gets a re-release for modern fans who missed him
Grayson is just plain awesome, he's still my personal favorite to play as and I love his city suit.
