Why did Freeze go apeshit without allowing Batman to make a deal? If it was me I would have told him that I'd always sympathised with him, as Batman does and that I'd find his wife, however if he gave me the cure it would make things a lot easier.
Yeah it's a conflict that had no reason to exist rather than having a boss fight against him, and seconds after it he just "Oh you know what? Let me help you again! I fully trust you now that you kicked my ass".
Ok, one can argue that he thinks Batman had no reason to find Nora if he was already cured, and would just leave her there, so Fries thought about killing the Bat and then offering the cure he locked in exchange of her to Joker.
But, if he thinks this way, what's stopping Batman from doing it now? He can easily just grab Joker's cure and say fuck it to Nora, you even made him pissed, he has now all the motives to not help you.
Also, who the fuck thinks it's better to make a deal with Joker instead of with the Bat? Ok "he's villain he hates Batman" and shit, but, the other guy is fucking Joker, there's absolutely no chance of you getting out of this deal, it's just plain stupid.
El Ferko I never got why it was this way. Seriously Batman even went and got Nora, Fries says he doubted him but so what if you kill him that ain't gonna get your wife back.
It's also ridiculous Freeze withholds the cure from Batman in the first place in exchange for Nora...without the cure, Batman is going to die in a couple hours anyway and then Freeze'll be up shit creek without a paddle. Hell, Batman says about one minute earlier that he is "a man of his word", and Freeze should know that by now. His decision to threaten Batman makes absolutely no sense and pretty much just exists so that we can have a boss fight with him...yes the boss fight is awesome as hell, but the context of the fight is downright idiotic.
Freeze was desperate to save his wife and he watned Batman to bring her to him.All purely out of desperation
He would've just traded with Joker: the cure for his wife Nora. With Batman in the way though, he would be forced to give it over and he doesn't trust Batman to help him for free. In Victor's eyes, he needed the cure to bargain with either Batman or Joker for his wife. However, the *real* question about Batman and Freeze is this: If Freeze turned to a life of crime to fund his research involving a cure for Nora, why doesn't Bruce Wayne volunteer to fund Freeze's research. It would be in line with his philanthropist ideals and also go a long way in helping Batman by taking a super criminal out of the running for good by providing a legal alternative for Freeze to find a cure.

I remember seeing Hush for the first time in Arkham City, then just immediately forgetting about him. Then when he showed up in Knight, I was like "Ohhhhhhhhhh, I forgot he was a thing"
The Mr Freeze scenario couldve been a whole lot simpler
Freeze:- Bring me Nora, or i will not give you the cure and you will die
Batman:- If you dont give me the cure, ill die before i can find your wife and she'll also die.
Freeze:- Oh okay, heres the cure.
Also he forgot it's BATMAN, he wouldn't put innocent people in unneccessary danger. Freeze didn't need to negotiate because all he had to do was ask and Batman would have saved Nora anyway. 🤦♂️

You know, I think that’s what caused the fight. When Freeze threatened to not give him the cure for him and Joker so he could free his wife, Batman’s desperation for the cure triggered the Joker’s blood.
That's why in Arkham Knight, he was more than poison.
One thing I like about this remaster, is the sound effects. You can feel every single punch, and I don't even have the volume that loud.

I know, Hush's mission in AK was a joke. We could have explored Wayne Industries with maybe a stealth map against Wayne security with Hush or hired thugs with Hush. You know similar when Catwoman goes against Two-face.

Roksteady putting Paul Dini aside was one of dumbest things they could've ever done. The most obvious plot twist in Arkham Knight and the waste of a Hush storyline are just only some of the flaws of Tank Stimulator. Glad I didn't buy that piece of crap XD

If you are at the point where you defeated Mr Freeze, you’ve officially gone through 60% of the main story line, loved this fight, very challenging, not difficult, but you can’t defeat him in normal usual ways, liked the difference.

Rocksteady does the best boss battle of the entire series, then Tank Simulator happens and they send everything to shit. 4 years for a disappointing installment; Arkham City was and still is the best Superhero game ever created.

Even tho Freeze's boss fight boils down to "do 10 different takedowns" it feels like so much more. It's feels like how two geared up geniuses would fight, not with direct prolonged combat but mutual adapting to the other.
I wish the boss battle with Arkham Knight was like this, way better than having to sneak up on him..

The only thing that i don't/didn't like about this remastered version is Freeze powering up lighting effects. It had that in original game, but in here they didn't bother remastering the lights by adding it more brighter when he's about to start the fight with the Batman.
I love how close they managed to get to the Batman: The Animated Series Freeze's voice modifier.

Exactly. This is one of the sins of Arkham City
Technically, there is an escape, two ways. By sea, because that's how Joker and Harley got to Arkham City when escaping Arkham Asylum and Black Mask was digging a hole that lead outside the walls of Arkham City. He was recaptured of course and they patched the hole, but the sea method is the best method. I know this is a joke.
I feel like a crossover between this and the PS4 Spiderman game would be interesting. Although, Batman's movement in these games is more tank-like and Spiderman just flies and zips all over the place.

That mask Mad Hatter made for Batman looks a lot like the weird Bat mask Dick Sprang drew when he returned to drawing Batman in the early 1990s
I understand that they had to incorporate Mr. Freeze into the game, but a plot hole they should have addressed is the fact that Poison Ivy developed a cure for Titan before Freeze was even approached. They should have written in a backstory or interaction between Bats and Ivy where she tells him to go kick rocks to explain why her cure was never utilized, hence why they all have to rely on Freeze for it.

It appears that shadows won't cast on the big paving slabs. Also I wonder did BAV avoid the gliding Freeze takedown because the freezing air effect is missing. Apart from being very unpolished, these remasters look great. I lovve the more vibrant feel. I really hope they give Origins the same treatment.
