you did it again andrew! amazing work as always and i love the fact that you take the utmost care in restoration and not just slap stuff together. It takes time and dedication to do this type of work, and i for one am glad that you are doing this.
Old gaming laptops honestly is still a good desktop replacement PC, especially if you just need it for basic tasks. If you can get it for very cheap, it'll serve you for a long time
I'm watching the video from that very same laptop! It is a VERY.HEAVY.TANK of a laptop, and even inside a bag a drop can damage the plastic body and rear cowling quite easily (believe me, I know), but otherwise, it has been my loyal steed for the past 7 to 8 years, and it is still going strong with minimal upgrades - it also sounds amazing with that subwoofer. Anyone looking for a backup PC for light gaming or home use (strictly home use, as it is quite heavy to lug around daily) can get this without a 2nd thought. Great video my friend, subbed instantly, the quality of your work and care for detail is really refreshing!
Du bist definitiv aus einem deutschsprachigen Raum. Hab ich an dem Prospekt gesehen, was Du aufgeklebt hast als Schutz. Da stand was mit Schnittlauch. :D Aber Du machst echt ein guten Job! Daumen hoch und vollen Respekt! :)
at 0:25 seconds into the video you say you reset bios and made some other tweaks. can you please explain those steps for resetting bios and steps for other tweaks, please?
Excelente trabajo como siempre, tengo un modelo similar la 7559 en ocasiones la batería carga y en otras no, cree que esté fallando el cable de poder? el cargador funciona correctamente en los voltajes de salida, gracias por su orientación.
Another awesome video! Going to do one of those keyboard repairs, if i use as glue an old key cap that i melt with soldering iron, would that be good enough?
An impressive well-done work. Btw for cleaning displays I use glass cleaner for windows (dunno if there is a Mac version). And for stickers there is a solution called Label Remover.
Wanted to get this back in the day but settled for the 5576.. yea, it was pretty bad, however, it was a massive upgrade coming from integrated graphics
I still think that speckled look looks like a worn out coating from an old pair of glasses, or that it's been baking in the sun too long and began bubbling up (read as "tacky as hell"). But personal paint tastes aside, appreciate the restoration work that you do to these laptops that would've been e-waste otherwise. Great job. Though seeing you use that lighter near sensitive electronics like a computer touchpad is giving me PTSD, like I'm waiting for a computer equivalent of the LiveLeak logo to show up.
it cant when put out nvidia sticker. after wash. then back put but cant. my laptop samsung r530. it running windows 10 by upgrade before win 7.. it was pull out windows 7 sticker later. i tried put back we cant placed. i just taped it lmao
Mine bought from 2018, 1 usb port broken, battery is unuseable and keyboard lost some key too but i plug it with a monitor and another keyboard. Still going strong in 2024 lmao 😢
I still have this laptop.. battery is still very good and everything works just fine.. I once needed to repaste it and really struggled with it cause it was my first time opening a laptop
Excellent job as always, especially with the keyboard, those are really a headache. By the way, bro; could you spare some info of the vacuum cleaner you use?
My nokia n95 is not turning on, it has not been used for like 12 years, how can I identify the problem, is the battery very old or other parts don't work, idk. Please help!!
Carbon fiber vinyl trackpad is horrible to use because of its rough surface. You can put another layer of sticker on it like the transparent one they put on Macs, just cut it up first.
I have a dell g3 15 3500 with I7 10750h and 1650. But the temp of the system is reaching 100c in idle in windows. I have installed manjaro on it and the temp are still reaching over 100 c when watching TH-cam and the gen 3 x4 SSD can't go over 900mbps. Dell's BIOS have no settings to toggle for the SSD, So I am getting a terrible performance as well as a terrible SSD speed. Tried replacing the SSD also (nothing changed speed is still the same). Service center didn't even open it and asked me to replace the motherboard, That's a little hefty cost to me. Can somebody help meee...........
The Legendary Dell Pandora (at least that what it known in my country), the reason why I bought my Dell G3... until I realize... G3 is worse than the older / previous model lol Anyway good video, you did tell us how to do a deep cleaning for a laptop in a proper way.
Hi I’m a long time follower and I would love a tutorial on how to change a keyboard with plastic rivets - I need to do it soon on my laptop. Thank you for the top notch videos!
Very good video as always but I suggest those who are thinking to get the Dell laptops for any category like for Gaming / Productivity because their machines are totally trash after 6 months of usage their machines making random issues like windows lagging & etc. So avoid getting this trash machines. or try to get gaming Pc / laptop from other brands like Asus / Lenovo / Acer or any other brands ! I have experience with dell laptops that's why sharing here
I have experience with Dell laptops, too, and can't speak for gaming ones as I can't stand them but the proper business and enterprise ones last 10 years or more... especially the older ones.
best part about this laptop is that with a switch of a motherboard u can upgrade to a 6 core i9-8950HK and a GTX 1060 and have official support for Win11
Dear sir, i have a Toshiba Satellite C50t-A and the monitor is cracked..Hoping for your advice if i can just install a normal screen instead of the digitizer?..It would be a 1st time for me to work on something like it..
I'm trying to restore an HP laptop, it is 10th gen i7, and reports a Systemboard error (5 long & 3 short flashes) and won't boot. I've tried baking the board at 200c & reflashing BIOS by CH341A. Do you have any more recommendation for what the failure could be? I cant see any obvious physical damage. Thank you!
Hi, i have turned my old laptop to direct powered desktop kind of thing without battery. Everything working fine but it goes power off leas than 30 mins even the power adaptor is connected, any suggestions to fix my issue. I have changed new cooling fan and thermal paste
I have a Vaio Laptop that doesn't start and whenever it starts its fan spins quickly and nothing works. I did reset BIOS but this didn't work, can you help me?
hey i have the same laptop and it's working fine except for one thing that is when i plug the laptop to the wall, it does not power on. but then i remove the barrel connector and turn the power on , the laptop turns on. and then i can use the powersupply. what can be the issue here?
This one I got it from a close cousin. But if I search for something I check pages where people sell their old stuff or some companies that have something like auction. But mostly the stuff that I restore is belong to someone, I just take, restore, repair, upgrade and return.
this laptop was once my dream laptop during my university life. so memorable!
you know what, mine too :)
mine too
With a good configuration it still could work as ur dreaming laptop..!!
same but then I just scammed amazon over a rtx 4080 laptop...
Yah me too
this the channel that worked on repurposing laptop display from vague memory. Love your work and information presentation!
The battery is starting to swell up. That needs to be swapped out.
you did it again andrew! amazing work as always and i love the fact that you take the utmost care in restoration and not just slap stuff together. It takes time and dedication to do this type of work, and i for one am glad that you are doing this.
Exactly, and that's why we are following him, he knows what his viewers wants

Andrew sigo admirando mucho tu trabajo, lo meticuloso que sos en las reparaciones y realmente todos los detalles. Felicitaciones y a seguir así.
Back when this thing was new, I wanted to buy one as a student. Interesting to know that the rubber startet disintegrating after just 7 years
Nice work my dude!❤🔥
Thank youu bro :)
i appreciate how you always cater to a wide audience!
Du bist definitiv aus einem deutschsprachigen Raum. Hab ich an dem Prospekt gesehen, was Du aufgeklebt hast als Schutz. Da stand was mit Schnittlauch. :D Aber Du machst echt ein guten Job! Daumen hoch und vollen Respekt! :)
Quality Job Andrew as Always ( Love the Vids ) MORE MORE MORE
After a long time my fav bgm "Better of"...thanks andrew..love from Bangladesh
I watched all the laptop repair videos, they are very enjoyable, I wish you more.
Unbelievable. I absolutely LOVE the work you do keep it up!!
at 0:25 seconds into the video you say you reset bios and made some other tweaks. can you please explain those steps for resetting bios and steps for other tweaks, please?
Nice restoration! As others have said, that battery is swollen and needs to be replaced. I like the matte black speckled paint finish!
The laptop looks amazing! I have one just like it, still works very well for the age. Great video!
I really miss this content!!!! Thanks to you dude.
Excelente trabajo como siempre, tengo un modelo similar la 7559 en ocasiones la batería carga y en otras no, cree que esté fallando el cable de poder? el cargador funciona correctamente en los voltajes de salida, gracias por su orientación.
This is craftmanship! Awesome job.
nice also have the same laptop (but red color) ,also thanks do this video , i know what to do when needing to perform minor servicing on it ..
Another awesome video!
Going to do one of those keyboard repairs, if i use as glue an old key cap that i melt with soldering iron, would that be good enough?
another satisfaction over unboxing content, lit it up
That's my exact laptop having used for 6 years, except mine is i5 model. Now one of the RAM slots died.
Amazing job as always. You are an Artist my friend 😘
Hi Andew, Nice work as usual, keep going!
a few weeks ago i disassembled same model laptop. it was perfect but it has too much problems. nice machine but it contains too many problems
As always Great work Andrew Love from ♥️ 🇮🇳
always thank you for showing this video

Excellent restoration! Partially inspired by your vids to make a restoration vid myself! ❤
Great work Mr. isopropyl alcohol!!
which products do you use to clean the screen?
great video!

It's crazy to see how this thing's performance is now being competely destroyed by the handhold pc with apu
Wash thermal pads? - Don’t do this, just replace with new ones!
I didn't have good ones for these models, it's better to wash these original pads than using some new and bad pads
Great job! Btw you forgot to put back the NVIDIA sticker on it
it cant when put out nvidia sticker. after wash. then back put but cant. my laptop samsung r530. it running windows 10 by upgrade before win 7.. it was pull out windows 7 sticker later. i tried put back we cant placed. i just taped it lmao
❤️❤️ Always love your job bro!
OMG I HAVE THIS SAME LAPTOP AND DID THE SAME DID. it would just start up and max the fans and not turn on
In most cases the problem is the CMOS or maybe bad battery ( power battery ) or charger, rarely when the problem is coming from the hardware
Mine bought from 2018, 1 usb port broken, battery is unuseable and keyboard lost some key too but i plug it with a monitor and another keyboard. Still going strong in 2024 lmao 😢
Great job 👍👍 ...but Why is the paint looking bubbly? also, did you peel all that rubber off? and how? i have the same bad rubber skin problem.
Love your work !!
You can also use a soldiering iron to melt the plastic to remove the keyboard instead of cutting it, and then you can melt it again to replace it.
Awesome restore and upgrade!
I still have this laptop.. battery is still very good and everything works just fine.. I once needed to repaste it and really struggled with it cause it was my first time opening a laptop
Probably, still gazillion times better than PCs at school
to remove sticky softtouch (like on old ibm laptops), use dimexide (dimethyl sulfoxide). This is an excellent tool. it is sold at the pharmacy.
Awesome job!!
But I wish you could just forget that textured droplet painting effect. Looks like when a drink spilling on it.
It is safe to remove the battery (built in battery laptop) and plug it directly into the outlet?
I daily drive a Dell XPS 9750 with an i7 8750hq, GTX 1050ti, and 16gb RAM. Very similar to this. Still a great daily machine with a new battery.
Do u have any course on how to test and fix laptop problems? If not why don't u publish one
I will bro
That's one spicy pillow you just puted back
Amazin work bro.
Excellent job as always, especially with the keyboard, those are really a headache. By the way, bro; could you spare some info of the vacuum cleaner you use?

Least this laptop is fully functional and nice video
exellent work bro !
Amazing Video, I hope I can fix the laptop like you are 👍🏻🔥
Man you dont know how much I missed this background music 😅
Carbon fiber vinyl trackpad is horrible to use because of its rough surface. You can put another layer of sticker on it like the transparent one they put on Macs, just cut it up first.
9:48 : No problem in this case... *But you do have a problem in that case* ... thought i'd point it out just in case 😂
This is very good restoration.❤❤❤❤
Excellent job!
Thanks for your work, could you consider a video about your paint method

Great job!😊
Well done, sadly you didn't wash the motherboard, if you did, it would be much much better, keep up the good work
I really enjoy watching your videos, very detailed and satisfying
this was once my laptop during my college days, dell inspiron 7577.
best part about this laptop is that with a switch of a motherboard u can upgrade to a 6 core i9-8950HK and a GTX 1060 and have official support for Win11
