It is coming along great! Making a pattern for curved parts is always tricky. It looks like the brake line idea worked. I have done similar things when working in a 3D space and trying to get a form. Worked great making my wife a dress form. I do have a tip for ya on flat surfaces. Use painters tape. Just put down a bunch of strips and layer them. then mark along the edge and cut it with a Xacto knife or other sharp blade. Peel it off in one big mass, and you have your curve.Just place the tape over some cardboard, and draw along the edge. I can't take full credit for this idea. My wife had a heck of a time trying to get a pattern piece to work so we ended up taping around and marking the lines then took the tape and laid it flat. It worked really well. Until next time. Nice Mike!! My mind is saying to make some blanks from closed cell foam to flow the ends of the seats into the rear cards and use that for a buck for some fiberglass panels. Then upholster the fiberglass panels. Just the way my mind went on it. Looking forward to seeing your solution. RAWK!!
Can't wait to see it all done. Looking good!
Thanks, Randy. I just have to find the time to get back to it.
