Nice Mike!! On the bolt, to anneal heat to non-magnetic and allow to cool slowly. Ideal is burying it in vermiculite or lime, but I think oil dry would work. I usually will leave it inside the propane forge to cool while the forge cools. Then it should be soft enough to machine. Bolts are weird though; I made my first forged knife from a head bolt. From what I understand bolts have to pass grade but do not have a specific chemical makeup and the composition can verry from company to company. I'll check the wing windows on the F1 if you are still needing the clips. I'm going to chop the top and do away with the wings. Great repair. I think it gets back to hot rodding before there were speed shops. You have to make it yourself and could not swipe a credit card to get it. RAWK!!!!
So when a metal bolt breaks, just wing it! 🤪 Sorry, couldn't help myself. It came out great. Couldn't even tell it had been damaged and repaired.👍 Until next time. Make it Safe, Make it Done, 👨🔧&🚘 Go Have Fun❣ Stay warm, safe, and healthy. 🤟RAWK!

Thanks, Michael. I appreciate it. I can’t remember if the trucks are the same or not. 😎

😂😂😂😂
If it keeps water out Mike I think you are good.
Very good point
Vent windows keep it cool. Why wouldn't you use them?
Because this has a beautiful cowl vent that will about blow you out of the car. 😂😂
