The attacks and the deaths and damage which resulted have been widely reported upon in great detail, though the sources I have do not tabulate totals. But Wikipedia does, and from 2004 to 2014 c. 1900 people were injured in the attacks.

A few other facts that you will not hear out of a self-hating Jew's mouth:
1) Jews are indigenous to the land of Israel. Not Arabs from Arabia.
2) Jews are the only nation in history, still in existence today, to have created a national sovereign homeland in the land of Israel. Check your Bible, check the historical record, check the genetic testing done by respected geneticists and be sure to check the treasure trove of archaeological findings that prove beyond a doubt that the Jews are indeed indigenous to Israel. Ask yourself, why don't we find a single "palestinian" historical artifact when we dig in the land?
2) Shocking to some, Arabs are the imperialists who in the 7th century, under the banner of Islam, butch-ered their way from Arabia all the way to the Levant (Israel, Syria and Lebanon etc) and made the dozens of minorities, including JEWS, second class citizens and from the 7th century, for almost 1400 years, these indigenous minorities were subject to persecution and forced conversion. So, while you may not have learned about Arab/Islamic Imperialism and Colonialism at Tiktok University, it is just a google search away..
3) For 3,000 years there has always been a population of Jews living in Israel despite the merciless persecution of the Romans, Babylonians, Arabs and Crusaders.
4) Ever since the first wave of Aliya in the late 1800s more and more Jews had been moving back to their indigenous homeland in Israel and legally buying property.
5) The violence against Jews at the hands of the arab population did not begin in 1948. There are at least a dozen massacres pre1948 in which Jews were butch-ered and women were ra-p-ed. One such example is the Hebron Massacre of 1929. The Jewish state was just a more convenient excuse to mur-der Jews, but no excuse was really necessary before 1948.
6) The "Palestinian people" were never an actual unique group of people, never had their own government, currency, flag, military or history. They were nomadic arabs who did indeed live in the land of British Mandate Palestine, but it was never a "Palestinian state". Nor was it a "Palestinian state" under the Ottoman empire. This people came together under Yasser Arafat, himself an Egyptian, and adopted for themselves the name of the land that the Greeks and later the Romans in the 2nd century CE stamped on the land "Syria Palaestina" to erase the Jewish name of the land from 3,000 years ago - Judea.
Lastly, in 1948 the UN decided that the best thing to do with two peoples who simply cannot coexist together was to partition the land. The Jews accepted and the Arabs turned to a war of anni-hilation against a people who had just gone through a Holo-caust.
Needless to say, the arabs lost that war and would continue to try to destroy the Jews in 1967 and 1973 and they lost and they lost again.
And here we are in 2023 with Norm The Sloth Finkelstein ignoring the arab violence and refusal to live in peace that has plagued this conflict for 75 years and instead ignores that elephant in the room, and blames his own people for not acting as God in preventing civilian casualties, while no other democratic nation can boast of the lengths it goes to to limit civilian casualties. Why doesn't no one question how many di-ed in Germany 1945? Or Iraq? Or Syria against IS-IS?

no. finkelstein's case relies on documents from institutions that are biased against israel and in some cases are guilty of collaboration with terrorist groups. declarations of multinational bodies are not the same as international law and that law lacks jurisdiction except in nations that are signatories to treaties and multilateral agreements. he either fails to understand or misrepresents these legal issues. dershowitz is a scholar and academic on the law. both are retired now, but dershowitz was more respected as a law professor than finkelstein was as a historian. you can see video of finkelstein arguing with other historians that he knows what they meant in their own works better than them. dershowitz rose higher in academia and at more prestigious institutions. finkelstein retired early because he wasn't getting promoted.

Alan's defense seems to be the horrific events of WWII like the fireboming of Tokyo, the firebombing of Dresden, and the atomic bombins of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
