How hard was it to design a classic defender. The “new defender” is just a city waiting to break down.
I think there is probably less need for Defender with modern cars doing electric, the emphasis on car safety and efficiency. The throwaway society. Hence it must have been so hard to design a new Defender.

This boys dad has a rich friend who “wanted” a bespoke Land Rover. Thankfully daddy could fund a project and they could find a decent mechanic and fabricator (who do all the manual and both don’t get a mention by the way) whilst this 20 year old can “project manage and order parts”
Give him his dues, he sounds like he knows what he’s on about but he’s reading from a script if I’m honest.

He isn't the only one doing this stuff when he's young - plenty of other young people modifying cars to very high standards (and not the standard McDonald's car park modded cars) just with less financial backing. It's amazing what you can do with the right amount of money.
