Glad that someone has stepped into this market. Always loved their look, even on this side of the pond. Blown away by the makeover Edd and Mike did on Defender 90 "farm mud plugger" turning it into a would be Chelsea tractor. North East USA

Steve Maloney if you’re in the UK, look out on the Brightwells site. They have online auctions of ex military defenders for good prices in both good and bad condition. I’ve just bought 2 with under 50k miles in stunning condition so I would definitely check it out if you are still in the market.

They aren't beyond your reach. Just need to find one that hasn't rusted in a dry climate. Most of the work can be done with a screwdriver and socket set. Restoring one takes time and a lot of sand paper. Between the Defender, G-Wagon and Wrangler early models they are pretty easy to work on just with a basic tool kit.
I first thought this was 1 guy rebuilding a Land Rover.
But it's actually a company doing the work.
Not to bad of business to be involved with.
At least the people working on the build will be familiar with what they are doing.

WoW! My dream car since I was a child, had the chance to climb in one that looked a bit like this one, I think it was Beluga Black D-90. I would put a pop up camper on top and live out of this Iconic Beast for a year if I had a chance at owning one... Best 4x4 By Far!!!

Even if I am Italian and I live in Italy, I love Somerset and I love LR Defender too. I lived and studied for some months in Bath, lovely place !
In 1998 in Somerset i saw a dark green LR Def 90 white top and I said to myself: "one day, if I'll buy one, it will be exactly like that".
Long last 3 month ago I bought a completely restored and original November 2010 Def 2.4 Td with only 40.000 (certified maintenance, certified miles and warranty ).
I like very much Defender of this movie too, but I prefer to have an original one just like they were used to produce in the factory, nothing more.
I do love British cars ! I own a Jag coupe as well and I am really happy with these two british "icons" that Italians in general appreciate too.

Old Defenders are now becoming like old classic aircraft. Most don't die, they get totally rebuilt. The Defender/ Series Land Rovers are now the road equivalents of Spitfires, Hurricanes and P-51's at being restored.
This is awesome! I would love to own one of these if my budget permitted! 🤩
