    I made these for breakfast with some bananas I had sitting around - they were so good! Thick, fluffy and super tasty. Make sure you cook them on a medium-low heat for a few min, so the inside gets cooked completely. Will def make again 😋

    Was searching up a recipe and didn’t know which one to try when I saw these incredibly fluffy pancakes in the thumbnail and thought that I needed to try this out. I made them this morning, and they turned out perfect just like the video showed! I was kinda skeptical at first and thought they might turn out dense, but the pancakes were so fluffy and moist on the inside! I’m so glad that I tried this recipe out, and probably won’t need to find another one for pancakes now lol. The only thing I’d say is that I think they were pretty sweet by themselves, so there’s no need for extra syrup or anything and I can just reduce the amount of sugar next time. These were a 10/10, can’t recommend it enough!!! If you were wondering about which recipe to use like I was, this is your sign!

    I just tried this recipe but changed it up a little and my pancakes turned out so amazing.
    I used:
    1cup - self-raising flour (ran out of plain)
    1/2cup - plain flour
    1cup - milk
    2/3- ripe bananas
    1tbs - sugar (my bananas were very sweet)
    1/2tsp - cinnamon
    1/4tsp - salt
    1/2tsp - baking powder ( used self raising flour so I used less)
    >1/4tsp - baking soda
    Let me know if you try it!
    Xxx

    Wtfuuuu this is so good!
    Idek the last recipe (from another channel) was flat and black
    But this is so poofy
    It's like banana bread too!
    Didn't even need to put sugar, I only put 1tbs but the banana made it sweet already (1 black 1 newly spotted banana).
    I really enjoyed this recipe 😋

    I plan on making these for me and my family. Even though I’m still a kid I love cooking so hope these come out good. I also saw a comment that said I should add a bit less baking powder and baking soda because it has a bitter aftertaste. Is that true or should I stick with the recipe?

    • @Thesweetestjourney
      @Thesweetestjourney  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can give these to kids. If the baking soda and powder are too much, then don't use the baking soda and only add 1/2 teaspoon or 1 teaspoon of baking powder. You can also instead whip egg whites to stiff peaks, then fold them into the batter.

    • @Thesweetestjourney
      @Thesweetestjourney  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use whole wheat flour, but you have to add more liquid to the recipe. For example, for this recipe you can use 1 1/2 cups of milk instead of just one. I also have a whole wheat pancakes recipe here if you would like to try it: th-cam.com/video/nupUFvD16lg/w-d-xo.html

      It doesn't really need it because of the banana. The banana is a good substitute for eggs because it adds moisture and is a good binder.
