    I've tried this recipe before and it was absolutely delicious, amazing, not too sweet, just enough! and super fluffy, I'll be making it for tomorrows breakfast and I'll be making the batter overnight, I'll update tomorrow for those who might want to overnight prep if cooking in the morning takes too much time!

    Absolutely brilliant pancakes. My new pancake recipe. Family loved it. I did not taste the baking soda/powder at all unlike some other recipe I have tried. They are very fluffy and just gorgeous.

    I made these yesterday and they were the best pancakes I’ve ever made. I did replace 1/4 cup all purpose flour with 1/4 cup buckwheat because I just love buckwheat pancakes. They were hardy but still fluffy. Thanks for the recipe.

    I'm not a commenter usually but, until this point in time, this is the best pancake recipe I've tried. I've been through most of the recipes on TH-cam, and everyone claims that they are the best, however they turn out to be flat or stodgy. These were neither... Perfect.
    Thanks

    Hi, I am really excited to try your pancakes recipe tmr! I couldn’t find buttermilk in store so I was planning to use lemon and milk as a substitute. After mixing lemon and milk, how long do I need to let it sit for? Thank you!

    • @Thesweetestjourney
      @Thesweetestjourney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It only takes a few minutes, you could let it sit for about 5 minutes. You will see that the milk will start to curdle.

    Hello,thanks for sharing your recipe. Btw,may i know what kind of milk can i use? Can it be evaporated milk? Then i will just add lemon to become buttermilk? Thanks.

    • @olgadejesus7740
      @olgadejesus7740 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The simplest way to substitute buttermilk is to pour 1 Tbs. of vinegar or lemon juice into a 1 cup measurer and then fill the rest of the measuring cup with milk. Then gently stir the mixture and let it sit for about 15 or 30 minutes.

    Thanks for sharing the recipe!! May I know that can I make the purée first and keep in refrigerator overnight? I need to make the breakfast for my kid and husband in the morning, but I don’t want to make it one day in advance. Will it affect the texture and taste if I make the purée the day before? Many thanks!!!

    • @Thesweetestjourney
      @Thesweetestjourney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can keep it in the refrigerator overnight, but the pancakes might not be as thick and fluffy. The baking soda forms air bubbles as soon as it touches the acidity of the liquids and after a while they stop forming. The taste and texture will still be good though.
