These were great. Hard to flip but if you "pour" the 1/2 done cake onto your spatula, you can flip it back in.
I would definitely add the cinnamon next time.
They were pretty and super moist. I shall do them again! I ate them without syrup.

Not sure what you mean by "pour" theb half done cake onto your spatula, you can flip it back in. I'm not sure what you mean. Please explain because I've yet to be able to flip one. I don't know what you mean by "pour"??? I feel like if it's half done that you cannot pour it. Also I don't know if theb is supposed to be the or them or either or neither. And then it says you can flip them back in after we "pour" onto spatula half done. I'm so confused??? I'm hoping the person who wrote this comment can explain using different wording maybe. Hoping to get this because I repeatedly end up with a scrambled egg looking mess that has yet to taste very good to me at all. Not even like scrambled eggs. I appreciate anyone's help on flipping, not sticking or a possible explanation of what the comment meant. I'm not giving up yet. Almost though.

@sleepwalkerZZZ did you see when he flipped the pancake? Mine would not set on top so when I flipped it, I had to be very careful. It was still liquid so I was essentially letting the batter on top pour into the pan as I flipped it.

I just made these! I discovered I did not have baking powder. So I substituted cornstarch. I’m not sure if that was the best substitute, but the recipe worked. I did use cinnamon. I found I had to use medium heat to get them to form properly (5 out of 10 on the stove dial - Whirlpool). I used butter to cook. Got 5 pancakes from the recipe. I will make them again. I love when I find easy recipes that work., especially gluten-free recipes. Thanks! 😊

I'd say add a little bit of coconut flour, and banana flour, hemp seed, xantham gum with some sweetened coconut milk (until desired consistency/flavor combos hit you best. banana flour tends to be more strong green rime flavor), macadamia nuts, and white chocolate chips. It's perfect as is even if you go light on the white chocolate chips. That's the only way I got it palatable without ruining too much of idea of the recipe in the first place.
You shouldn't add so much flours/seeds that it starts to look dry, or too much you give up the eggy integrity of this recipe. It's only there to add a bit of different flavor and a more moist bread like texture rather than eggy chiche this is. I know I didn't give any exact measurements because you kind of have to play around with different flours to know what ones are good and bad. Like many things call for arrow root flour, and if you ever used it you know if something goes wrong it taste really bitter and ruins the whole meal. A lot of them create really different textures.
The coconut flour tends to be more flakey, and kinda will make more a body. It's generally fairly bland but you notice it and it mixes well for a creamy flavor with the milk. The banana flour can be bitter/taste bad. I use it for more of a bulk flour. It's not flakey and gives kinda more a fresh banana flavor if you wanted to use some really ripe bananas to make it more sweet/keep banana flavor. The hemp hearts take up the bulk in mine so i use less of the flours. It makes it more nutty which i like, but also more gritty, with a slight planty undertone. Really helps the texture in my opinion, but it makes it more earthy tasting for some.

Made this am from memory (couldn't access U Tube) think I had the heat too high and I couldn't flip them as they wouldn't bind so started to burn on one side so had to grill on other side. Result slightly burnt fruit scrambled egg as added blueberries and raspberries. It looked like a complete abortion but was rather tasty. Don't think you'll be seeing me on Master Chef any time soon though!
