Anyway, we quickly fell in *love* with the food they would make. It became a great source of amusement to get into a conversation once Halloween was past about our enthusiasm for the upcoming culinary opportunities. You'd say 'I can't wait for the turkey and dressing, the sweet potatoes, the lumpia and pancit...' they would be nodding 'til the last two and then stop and say "Huh??" 😁 Haven't had that pancit in almost 40 years now. 😔

Point-Point means "Turo-turo" in Tagalog, Philippines' major dialect, which is a cafeteria style of diner where you literally point, "turo" in Tagalog, what you want to order.

That’s one of my favorite Filipino food. Lechon kawali. Pork fried skin with meat attached. Yummy. Philippine cuisine is very underrated unfortunately. A lot of food dishes originated in China, Spain, and America. What alot of Filipino ancestors did was , perfected the ingredients and cooking methods to Filipino likings and the world around.❤❤❤Try Lumpia, pancit and kare-kare (oxtail peanut stew) and dinuguan(pork belly and intestines blood soup) with balut and puto( Puto is a tasty Filipino steamed cake that's sweet, airy, and fluffy) ❤❤❤

Inspite of the comments that i read here who criticize our filipino cuisine it's one of the most unique flavors that u will ever taste in the planet especially if u go to places here in my country near the beach area where they will serve u our local seafoods along with fruits & vegetables, softdrinks, wine or beer. 🌞 🍔 🍕 🍗 😅✨
