Oh man, I haven't watched this channel much this past year, just been too busy, so I missed the news of Ben's passing. So sorry for you loss, he seemed like an amazing friend to know.
Ben was so genuine and down to earth and was a perfect match with Barrio. They vibed so well together. It was so heartbreaking to lose Ben so soon, but we know he is resting in Heaven ❤ what a great way to dedicate a video in his memory.

@@micholakinola1053 The young camera man John used to have. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and died within months of knowing. We all loved him on here. He was so young.

I have the great luck to live in one of the biggest Filipino communities in Southern California (Mira Mesa in Northeastern San Diego) and we have many really solid places, mostly little humble places in strip malls that are just such a nice change of pace

Have you been to cafe Hestia in new york. It is an awesome place. Lovely deli food. Huge amount to choose from. Great community vibes in there. They are in midtown.

Huh. First time I've seen beef sinigang, I've always only ever seen pork (at least when it comes to the tamarind version. There's also fish sinigang with either guava or miso base for the soup). What I see beef usually used for is nilaga.
If Korea has Tanghulu (sugar coated Fruits), the Philippines has Banana Cue & Kamote Cue..
