This is cool to see working. Thanks for posting. I had a similr problem with an extruder motor and it turned out to be a bad motor driver. It was a brand new driver ( after trying to adjust motor current and other things).

Had a similar problem regarding the Drive Motor stalling at some point for no reason since the PTFE Tube was never changed...
At one point I started suspecting the ERCF Easy Board being the Culprit and what can I say... It was. Rewiring the Tool Head to CAN freed up another Stepper on the BTT Octopus Board allowing the ERCF to be fully wired to it and yea - That solved all the Electrical Problems. I have since also upgraded to the SturdyBunny & Springy MODs for the ERCF and those seem to have solved all the Mechanical Problems. TrippleDecky on the other hand I cannot recommend - That thing is lacking any and all clearances required to get it to work.

I hope to be able to do the same I'm building my own ERCF however its gonna be 48" long. I know it's been tested up to 19 different filaments but I want to see how many filaments it can do I understand more n possible Tangles and a larger buffer problem but if I get it working and sorted out I will post a video wish me luck

      Enjoy,
I have a 9 color on my voron and 6 color on my ratrig.
Color changed prints with a purge tower are very filament wasteful.
On average most prints I do are 1 to 3 colors max. Everyone's applications of needs are different

@@jc84com yeah but if you can shred your purge towers and re-extrude into filament with another color concentrate then it's not a total waste.....I set molds in a plastic injection shop for a job so I kinda know how to make the waste work 4 me .....
