Is the s21 ultra better in terms of video recording?

Pixel Pro 7 looks more nature and better dynamic range, less noise. Pixel 7 Pro also has much better voice captured. The gap is much between 2 device, but Pixel 7 pro newer for nearly 2 years.

S21u just looks better, and if you want true to life dial up pro mode, isn't that how it's supposed to be.

@@Soto-Tech2020 i think your right about that, however I prefer the accents of samsung and their photos on average have the more well balanced results (hdr, exposure, detail, white balance etc). If I want different there's many filters or pro mode. These comparisons always change regarding Samsung. I'm wondering why people go at them so much besides them being one of the top contenders. As someone who knows a thing or two about technology and photography its amazing how each year the narrative changes. Your just going to add a warm filter to your pixel photos and not get the hdr or detail, and add a cool or warm filter depending to your iPhone photo and not get the hdr. IPhone has the video by 1 point on a 10 point scale vs the s21u(stabilization) , you can get better video out of the s22u and the s23u shouldn't be compared to anything before it lol.

I wonder if you could check if installing a google camera port on s21 ultra would help the image quality, people always say that google camera makes phone images way better, would be nice to know if thats true on this phone
I could check but I wouldn't personally rely on this. There are too many Gcam ports. Better use pro mode for pics and videos on the S21 Ultra. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
A little delayed here but from experience, it does, but largely depends on whose port you use and obviously it's configuration and modeling. You won't have the same overall stability/consistency vs. Samsung's native camera application though. It's been a while but I don't recall being able to rely on it as much as a daily driver but the results were usually a bit nicer if you're a fan of google's more contrast-heavy/"dramatic" computational processing.
I prefer Pixel 7 Pro in both photos and video, but as a smartphone i think S21 Ultra would be better because One UI has more features and Samsung gives more Android updates than Google.

@@recarnatexd I have a pixel and I love the camera and the OS i so smooth but it lacks a lot of features I enjoyed and used a lot when I had a Samsung phone like floating windows, full screen apps, pro mode in camera app and a lot more... The thing is if you have a Samsung phone and love the pixel camera you can install gcam, but if you have a pixel phone and love the features that are included in OneUi there's nothing you can do 😐

@@Walid_Kharseh I prefer different things from both. It goes back and forth. I had to choose just one I would choose the S21 Ultra because the camera UI is more versatile with more features and also because it has portrait video in the front facing camera unlike the Pixel 7 Pro.

I have both and to me,P7 pro camera looks more natural and has better dynamic range,probably one of the best camera in a phone i've used..

In general, I thought the S21u was better, but the colors would go with Pixel... I like how sometimes the S21u retains the naturalness of the night scene, and when activating the night mode, there is a huge jump, even surpassing the Pixel's photography.
Curiosity... your S21u is Snapdragon right?
Another thing, is there a way to make the photos available in the cloud for a more detailed/close comparison?

Snapdragon is used in the American models but Exynos is used in the UK.
It's changed to Snapdragon for all for the S23 models

Vwey useful comparison. I've been looking at both of these phones. I've always loved Samsung, but for my purposes (taking pics & videos of family), seems the Pixel meets my needs better.

S21 ultra exynos is a bit oversarurated in such details as sky or delivers less light in day photos. But it delivers too light in night photos (night mode off). Thanks again and happy new year

Based on my personal experience comparing them side by side, there's absolutely no comparison to be honest. The note 9 just can't keep up at all. It's not even close.
It's not about the Note 9 having a chance vs the S21 Ultra. It's obvious that the S21 and S22 Ultra have better cameras. I will do the comparison mainly to see how much the S22 Ultra is ahead and if you have compared both phones fully you would probably notice that the Note 9 can produce SOME shots that are very close like I will show.. The comparison will be just vs the S22 Ultra and Note 10 lite though.

pixel 7 pro definitely won this but considering its nearly 2 years ahead and the price from where I'm from is nearly twice as much from a brand new s21 ultra, I'd buy the s21 U budget-wise plus google still has not extended its services from where I'm from :(

Dont be misleaded... pixel has extremely strong optimazion settings and its aweful. On small screens it looks good, but on bigger ones just ugly. Development later for printing or so is almost impossible und ugly. S21 here is far better

I so much prefer the S21 Ultra to this Pixel 7 Pro, especially since currently you can easily find an S21 Ultra in mint condition around $500 - $600.
Ps: Pixel's video selfie doesn't have better HDR, in reality Google's software only reconstructs the sky in the background (it has different types of sky colors stored in its software and applies the color of sky which seems to correspond to the moment), and especially completely forgets the main subject which is under exposed and without details.
I bought my S21 Ultra recently 256GB for £526 basically new. I don't know how the Google HDR works but I have to say that it's good with great dynamic range though depending on the angle it can bring a blueish tone especially on black objects. It's true that Samsung's phones tend to focus more on the main subject in the foreground with more realistic colours in general. However I have to say that S21 Ultra did a very good job with the background dynamic range too. It's probably better balanced but it's all a matter of personal taste.
