  • Ninja 400 is easily of the best beginner class motorcycles out there. Today I give an update on the Ninja 400 custom mod of the TFT display as well as the clear clutch cover which was successfully modified on this ninja 400. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 models come with standard analog displays and in the previous videos, I go over the installation process. This CAN be done and the ninja 400 looks and feels like a different bike compared to others on the road.

So the tft displays that the higher models have is compatible with the ninja 400? How about calibration?

Nice bike & you've put some money into her, I don't know how long you've had her but I will say that taking her to the dealer
will cut a chunk of money from you. If you have plenty of cash, take it to the dealer & move on but IF the bike is as clean as
it looks then you owe it to yourself to at least try to sell her for 3-4 weeks. The muffler looks new ^ I see that plate on the
side & didn't you say the Display is new as well? It looks like you've spent over $1000 dollars on top of buying it but do you
still owe the bank? If you do, you ought to pay it off, then sell her outright. Screw the Dealers who are only there to SCREW
You! I'm looking to buy my 1st bike in 30 yrs & have seen the nightmares things that Bike Dealers are doing to young guys
right now. Anyhoo, be safe no matter what you do. peace

You say that your bike doesn't have ABS, but I can clearly see an ABS Ring at 0:38 just below the rear brake caliper.... Can you explain this?

Would be nice to see the installation process in writing, like a blog post.

Probably better off just selling your Ninja 400 and getting the new Ninja 500..probably could get 75% of the cost of a new bike..the SE version has so many upgrades for not much more then the base model $5,299 msrp.. the glass clutch cover is a complete waste of money even if it was only $1..glass breaks..people buy clutch cover protectors not go in the opposite direction by wasting money to make your bike even more fragile..lol the 500 is just the 400 bike but with 51cc more engine making a big difference in torque and some more HP..everything else is the same size like frame, parts etc..probably could swap most of the OEM parts back on the 400 to sell it and buy the 500 bike..then build out the 500 bike..

He had this bike since 2021 and worked on it since. Whats the point of trading it in for a 500 in 2024?

@@tinapham9780 the HP and Torque with the new 2024 engine makes it ride like a completely different bike..then the new digital dash cluster with keyless ignition, 100% LED lights and even frame sliders installed from the factory and of course the new paint options..are just some of the reasons to switch before the 400 model takes a huge dive in value..which will happen sooner then later..sell it to retain the most capital and then buy the 500 which will hold its value much longer being the latest version as the 400 is discontinued..but rational thoughts aren't used here looking at the tacky choices to outfit the bike in temu / wish accessories over the much higher quality OEM parts..a glass clutch cover over the stock aluminum cover says it all..seriously who pays extra to degrade the practical use of a bike like that ?
