Mid controls? That's unique for Spector and I'm glad they did that, since most Specters only come with 2 band EQ and there are times I wish I had it on my Spectors. Sounds great.

I just bought myself an dimension in white as a spare to my beloved dingwall and it is absolutely stunning. I added a hipshot d tuner to tune the B string to A for certain songs and it sounds as clear and bombastic as my dingwall. Another perfect bass!

I have a Ethos 5 with the aguilar Pickups, and i love the lowend,
but I think the EMG´s in the new Ethos bases sounds a bit cleaner compared with the aguilar Pickups !?? 🤔

EMGs and Aguilar pups are completely different animals in the bass world. If you want the *Classic* Spector sound then go with EMGs however you cant go wrong with Aguilar.

@@Mattseak There‘s nothing wrong with them per se, but 2000€ is a price point where you can also can some nice german made Sandbergs for example, or american made stuff etc

@@mrpositronia I had that problem back in 2021, so I got a 2019 Riot in Aurora Burst instead (also an excellent bass) but just before New Year 2022 I saw my favourite guitar shop had a bunch of lefty Evil Twins (I'm a lefty) in on big discounts so I picked one up. I do prefer the ET to the Riot but I keep them tuned differently so they both get used.

I really love your channel and i watch every new video that comes out, that being said, lately it feels a bit repetitive. you keep on bringing the same companies and similar gear (you have done 2 vids on the same bass with the only difference is the multi scale). your older videos had an element of surprise and didn't feel as "sponsored" as these last ones. still, I love the professionalism and delivery of the content and the great players you always feature. ♥🎸
