    Very well demonstrated, just bought one gti pro lite 1.3 with t110 for clear and ordered 1.2 tip as well.
    Thanks

      Hi, thanks, it was early days so the camera work wasn't up to much but thought it was worth doing so people get an idea of what patern to expect, you'll love the T110, I personally think it with a 1.3 tip gives the flattish of finishes, appreciate the comments, cheers

    T110 has the cleanest spray pattern, all the rest exhibit prickly thorns all around the spray pattern

    I got a lot out of that.Seems the te20 has a lot bigger fan pattern than the rest. I had no idea

      Hi David, quite an old video so camera, lighting and me have hopefully improved 😀, your right, the TE20 is the fastest cap there, it draws more material through than any of the others given the same tip size, HV30 uses a huge amount of air.
      Of the videos i do the spray out paterns are by far the most popular, I plan to do some more soon as i have many more gun's these days, hopefully they'll be interesting, cheers mate 👍

    Great vid Pete 👍 I've got the TE10 as a basic all rounder and bought a cheap Chinese replica of the T110 for clear coat only.

      T110 how does it work?

    • @davidparker9676

      The Chinese replicas do not have the same size holes or number of holes. It is not a valid comparison to a genuine cap.

    Hi, i have very important question about T110 and TE10 aircaps.For base coat, which aircap gives less overspray (dust), TE10 or T110?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      they are around the same, the HV30 gives the least overspray but there is no real difference between the TE10 and T110

    Which cap would be good for general all rounder. Te20 or te10 spraying base and clear? One side of large van

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on the temperature and your compressor, if air is not a problem and its reasonably warm 22c or more then TE20, if not the TE10, perfect for base and good for clear but you just move slower on the clears

    Have you ever tried the t110 for base? I’ve only ever used my pro lite with that cap for clear but might do a few panels on my van and wondered how it would lay base, wanna avoid buying a te10 cap just for it though as the price of them has gone mental!

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mate, funny you should say that, I'm in the process of making videos in which you use just one gun/cap/tip for base and clear, you know a sort of all round gun, I did one a few day's ago with the Pro Lite with a T110 for both.
      The answer to your question is it was ok, it's the first time i had used it for base so was unsure what to expect, it wasn't outstanding and doesn't lay it as flat as the TE10, i suspect it something to do with the viscosity of base being thinner than clear coat, maybe a slight drop in pressure may help, the end result was really good so it's certainly not worth buying a TE10 just for a few jobs, hope that helps, cheers 👍

    So the HV30 I can use for base or clear? I’m still a newbie but bought myself a bevilbiss prolite with the HV30 air cap and TE20 air cap can I use the HV30 for base coat and TE20 for clear so for the TE20 I should move fast and slow as you said it puts out more material how about the HV30

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi buddy, the speed you move will depend on other circumstances as well as the air cap, the HV30 can put out a lot of material as well, being a true HVLP it puts more material on the project so there is less material waste, You can use any air cap for anything really, one thing that governs what we do will be environmental laws were you are, but that aside i would normally use a HV30 for base and TE20 for clear, the speed you move will depend on the finish you want, the material viscosity and the temperature you are spraying in

    What you think about te20 for base?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, TE20 is fine for base, it uses more air than the TE10 so tends to put more paint out which allows you to move faster

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bobanppvc , The TE10 and TE20 give a very similar finish, people often use the 10 for base and 20 for topcoat because the 20 puts out more air and so more material which means the 20 is ideal for clear, but it can also be used for base but you need to move faster

    Hello, I have got Gti Pro Lite with TE10..It is good for base but i don't know if for hs clear too?? What is the difference between Te10 and T110??Is it good idea to buy T110 for clear?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, the TE10 is fine for clear be it ms or hs, if it's hs clear I would suggest 1.3 or even 1.4 tip depending on temperature, the T110 does lay it flatter if that is what your after, all depends what you are doing, if you're trying to match other paintwork then the 110 may be too flate as there's very little peel, the TE10 gives you a similar peel obviously depending on pressure to a out the factory finish on most production cars
