I paint everyday. I change clear guns every 3 weeks or so. I go from the Sata 5500 rp to the Iwata WS400 and the Devilbiss Prolite. The Prolite is such a great gun! If I had to pick one gun to spray with, the Prolite would be the one.
Curious your take on why that is? I have the three guns that you listed except i have the lph400 not the WS400. I don't have all the air caps for the pro lite but honestly idk what I'm missing i don't get why people are raving about this gun it's nothing special and i hate cleaning it to be honest. For me the lph400 would be hands down the all rounder, followed by the 5500 rp i nozzle for clear. The pro lite to me is meh. Maybe you'll help me understand
G'day Mr Gunman, Thank you for sharing the knowledge, man. It's always appreciated. I'm retired and I work on my restoration DIY cars at home. I've got the GTI PRO Lite and the PRO Lite mini. And the FLG 5 gun. All recommended by you. So thanks again for sharing ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham.
Hi gunny. I bought one of these knowing full well it wouldn’t quite live up to the expectations of what I have been patiently waiting for, but it seemed like a good omen as we had just taken on a big ongoing carbon job that will see us through the next few years. Also always nice to have a fresh gti on the rack. Love a gti and have been almost exclusively using them my whole career
Sick work bud! Fan of the channel, hailing all the way over here from Texas! Question: what cap set up do you recommend for strictly basecoat (ppg)? I currently use the te20 but heard about the hv's, and have been wanting to try them. Thanks
Great video Gunny, this is the first time I've seen the Carbon edition close up on a video and as you said it doesn't look as good as the pictures would have you believe, I realise it's a difficult process to do the design (or wrap) around the handle but they have just covered the flats on the handle which IMO spoils the look so now I'm having second thoughts on getting one🤔🤷♂ I don't know why some people think that just because it's a limited edition gun it will spray better🫣I mean come on peeps it's still a Pro Light and is exactly the same as all the other ones🙄😂John UK
looks awesome mate. But quite pricey. Have been looking for standox xlear as i had great results back in the day but its so hard to find these days (does it even exist? What mid range decent clears would you recommend
What PSI are spraying with? I never seem to get the same nice pattern/atomization you always have. I'll do full fan, about 2 1/2 out from closed on fluid with TE20 at 30 psi still seems to be peelly

Just to be perfectly clear people, this gun is a limited edition design, it is definitely not a carbon fibre spray gun.
And I thought they followed Walcom carbonio 360.
Is this gun the same as the gpg carbon ?

100% about it being an allrounder i always recomend this as a gun for everything. not my favourite for clear tho.
When I was spraying we always had devillbiss guns expensive but great quality guns. 😊

What mid range decent clears would you recommend
would you go for this or the sata 100 b rp
Do you ever spray clear with the T110 ? How much difference is there between T110 and T20 even thx difference in fog? Thanks!

I would like to see your latest top ten 🤟
What’s your clear gun setttings for the gti
@@lukeadamidis9291 full fluid, full fan and 2bar pressure or thereabouts, sometimes I go higher with the pressure
Looks damn good to me gunny 👍
I think the stencil for making these guns is starting to wear out on the external finish on these guns
That’s is awsome I love it
Jolie travaille 👍
Looks like it’s hydro dipped carbon fibre bro
I don't think that's it man, it's like an etch
It sorta looks like hydrographics that hasn’t a flat clear over it but hard to say unless I had it in my hand if you say it’s not then it’s not !

fake carbon always looks shit.. change my mind...
