That means the film takes place over the course of 7 days. 2- it’s impossible for David to have been the one to ultimately create the Xenomorphs that we come across in the original series. All of the aliens we see originate from the engineer ship on LV-426. Not only is David nowhere near LV-426 by the end of Covenant, as David intended to continue on to Origae-6, but the special features of Prometheus(specifically the Weyland files) flat out say that Peter Weyland is aware of the beacon on LV-426. It was thanks to Shaw and Halloway pointing out that system for THEIR hypothesis that he was able to find it and it was one of the primary factors behind him agreeing to fund their mission. So, as stated in Alien, that ship had to of been there a very long time and that particular Engineer was in fact fossilized by the time of the first movie. Which would’ve taken a ridiculous number of years to occur.

It’s such a shame Covenant didnt go further into the Engineers lore. Prometheus was so intriguing I was really looking forward to it going deep into the Xenos origins
I love the background music in your videos. It’s mysterious, enigmatic, coming of age type yet somehow unleashes a keen sense of nostalgia in my mind. I would like to have it just to listen to it. Thank You.
Alien:Romulus was amazing! Finally got to see what led to the events in Aliens. The bridging of the gap between Alien and Aliens. Fede Alvarez is a master horror director. He takes his time with storytelling. Love how it feels like it was made in the 80s too, making the technology much like the kind in Alien&(s). I love Prometheus I honestly do, but what threw me off was how advanced the tech was. Surpassing the kind of tech in the OG movies yet it’s supposed to take place before the OG movies. Alvarez paid close attention to that.
Just a random flaw I noticed in the video: the echo location idea for sight. The aliens have to have some type of sight because they notice in Alien 4 when the guy puts his hand over the button @17:26 even though there is a super strong glass window/wall; I'm not sure how you missed this when you have it in your video. Echo location wouldn't work through that window. Somehow they know the guy is on the other side of the glass. Echo location also generally requires sometime of sound produced, so unless their echo location is super high or low on the frequency, you think we'd be hearing it. You could argue against this if you say they have the ability to read minds/sense other creatures close to them and their body movements through mind reading or some other type of sense. Or they have some type of super advanced echo location that goes through different mediums and returns... I think my favorite idea is they have some other type of sensing ability that isn't like one of our 5 sense. This is how the eggs work, how the facehuggers know where the face is vs going for a leg or butt or exhaust vent or hole in the wall.
The crusher doesn't come from the Praetorian it's evolves from a Sentry which evolves from a Runner. A Crusher is to the Runner what the Praetorian is to the Drone. Done > Warrior > Praetorian Runner > Sentry > Crusher The only things the Praetorian can evolve into other than the Queen are the Ravager, and Carrier from the expanded universe.
The King is the biggest Xenomorph , look it up in Comics, and it ya read AVP you know they didnt just use them for hunts for younglings . THEY CREATED THEM
I feel like all the creature from promethius are all one off creatures Halloway effected with black goo then impregnates Shaw creating the trelabite Trelabite then uses an engineer as a host Then the Deacon is born A xenomorph is birthed from a human being a host to the ovomorph A Predalien is birthed from a predator being a host to the ovomorph Lol....point being is the possibility of creatures is endless What if an engineer got effected with the black gooooo Then got his wife pregnant and gave birth to whatever Then that thing used a predator for a host? What then? Btw Kroft, you are loved ....I heard somewhere they were gonna introduce a King Alien........its has wings!
If the black goo came before the egg then why are there pictographs of the alien eggs in the mural? And also the creature in the mural on the ceiling was palming an egg so the black goo did not necessarily come first I think the egg came first and I don't think it's the blood of a deacon
If I were to take a guess. The goo definitely came after the discovery/research of the xenomorph species… it is the biological weaponization of it. But I think maybe certain doses do certain things. As well as the manufactured goo acting uniquely with any dna. And maybe they have different black goo recipes. One for creating life and one for destroying it with xeno messes & dna damage mess. It’s so weird though. In covenant the bio form of black goo is a litle pollen jellyfish like micro organism. Maybe that’s the original xeno natural litle spore egg pods? But then likec maybe that’s not natural and it’s an effect from the black goo aerial pod attack that created those from pre existing botanical life. Cause then David says he used the human egg/reproductive organs or that base dna. From Shaw. To create those basement facebhugger eggs?? It seems they never decided if any of what we saw was possibly origins or copies of nature lol. They gave up
So yeah. Idk if egg fungi looking spore shooters were the original natural form“eggs”. Seems like it could be. Botanical stuff is like convenient for creating medicine / bio weapons. Like goo being made from refining them or maybe even as simple as gathering them. Mashing them adding water and boiling a little. Idk. Perfect temp for it maybe? So maybe face huggers came after human DNA or engineer etc DNA reproductive organ systems were thrown in the mix?

In which year the Alien vs Predator is? Because the timeline would not match with this. Or is Alien vs Predator alternative timeline? Or Alien vs Predator is happening on difrent Earth in the same universe? Or is Alien vs Predator happening after Alien Saga in which humanidy started all over from the stone age?
AvP and AvPR are usually considered to be sort of its own thing. Where it doesn't conflict with anything else, I think people are reasonably content to accept that it's at least possibly the same universe. Where there is a conflict though, I think lots of people will take other sources over AvP or AvPR
Steve and Stephanie Perry's Aliens series. Read it. It is so phenomenal, so cohesive in it's storytelling and lore building... So much so that they had to change Hicks and Newts names in the books because Alien 3 killed them both off. Covers bio-weaponry, a Genesis Hive, Earth being completely overrun, Xeno-1, the Hive Mother (and her equally massive Praetorians), and a plot to eradicate all Xenomorps on Earth that involves nukes and the ultimate feint... A stellar series of books, starts with Earth Hive.... Do ya'self a favor, read em!
well in the AVP strategy game it is shown the evolution to a queen goes egg - Royal jelly egg - Royal facehugger - Praetorian - Queen so this might be actual canon progression
Yes but different. The one at the end of the film is made from the man-made black goo. It's unknown how the first deacon was made, but they used its blood to give life to planets and create humans on earth. The opening scene of Prometheus.
@@OHHnoYOUdidntMAN That's what I mean. If the deacon on the mural precedes all other, the black goo in Prometheus is a result of something later than the deacon on the the mural.
fidk about "Royal Jelly", but from what i understand from the "Alien Vs Predator 2 (1999)" video game, any "Drone" Xenomorph can eventually become a Praetorian if it's old enough, there might be some level of "Unless there are too many Praetorians in the area already" latched onto that. After that, the Praetorian can eventually grow into a queen, either after enough time has passed, or quicker if there is no queen in the area. Think the idea in the "Alien Vs Predator 2" film was that the Predalien was rapidly morphing into a queen since it was the only / oldest Xenomorph in the area at the time, likely quickly passing through / already being in the Praetorian stage as well. Going by this, the lone alien in "Alien" would have likely morphed into a queen if given enough time too. No royal jelly needed.
What if predators, somehow go the DNA of the strongest man and woman and they got a kid to be born, could it potentially make the strongest human xenomorph or are they all the same, only varying between the host
Kroft, perhaps a video about the upcoming Noah Hawley TV series (2025) next? Have you heard any details newer than the interview he already gave? While we're on the subject of Hawley - if anyone missed 'Legion', I highly recommend giving it a go. And, having done that, it will be evident as to why I am looking forward to the TV series he has written.
But didn't the Engineers already create the Xenomporphs in the black goo form. I mean they must have already known what it would become when they developed it. Or maybe I'm wrong or looking too much into that🤷🏻♀️ We definitely need the Engineers origin story to understand 🤔 Well I do anyway.lol😂
I’m no Xenomorph expert, but in Covenant there’s a lot of electrical interference on the planet and in Alien some people report electricity near the Alien’s skull. Maybe part of the egg portion of an alien’s life cycle is based on a humans minute bio-electricity.
I REALLY wanted to give this a full view and listen but honestly, I couldn't get past 2 minutes. First time viewer here, so perhaps this is your style and it works for you. But honestly I was impressed with how quickly I got bored watching this, and I've been running an Alien's marathon over the past 2 days. You sound just so absolutely disinterested in the topic of your written script, that I was almost immediately disinterested in wanting to learn more about xenomorphs AT ALL. Though from what I DID watch, great motion graphics and skilled visual presentation is exercised here. But man.... Watching this felt akin to watching a scene where the character is sitting in class not paying attention to the most absolutely dull and boring professor and looks out the window instead. Friendly reminder that AV stands for Audio Visual, please don't forget the audio. EDIT: It is absolutely okay and if anything, preferred to have personality when presenting. I left to immediately go over to Wisecrack & New Rockstars at least, because the presentation style makes those channels MUCH more fulfilling and digestible. Though again, I DO enjoy the shot selection and motion graphics used here, even if they could be editing templates.
I like to think.. that the pathogen and the genetic manipulation is dynamic. From the original movie until present. It is possible there is way more we haven’t seen during screen time.
I like Aliens & Predators being linked in canon. It makes more sense that Predators created Aliens to test their young soldiers. The whole “perfect” creature thing makes no sense when all Aliens do are destroy and procreate.
How did the eggs get on the escape craft in Alien 2? Is it possible a xenomorph was hiding there and devolved back into an egg to impregnate the sleeping Rippley, Newt, and that space marine?
This is my headcanon about the life cycle and purpose of the xenomorphs: I theorize that both Engineers and Space Jockeys exist (LV-426 pilot is not an Engineer). They are servants of some kind of celestial overseers and take their orders from them. Engineers plant life on habitable planets, and Space Jockeys destroy it if necessary. Engineers' assigned planets eventually evolve sentient beings from the life seeds they plant. When that sentient species reaches a certain point, a judgment is made by the celestials. A positive judgment allows them to continue to exist; a negative judgment means their doom. Xenomorphs were created many eons ago by the celestials for use by the Space Jockeys. They are perfect killing machines, and their entire life cycle has remained unchanged. This headcanon ignores most of Prometheus and Covenant, but still keeps the Engineers. Engineers and Space Jockeys are not perfect; they can make mistakes and/or poor choices. They are also subject to the normal circumstances of existence, whether good or bad. An example of bad circumstances would be the Space Jockeys' ship crashing on LV-426.

Man I don't know that's somthing that gets brought up at my table does somthing that is in like a rpg table top game that is based off of a certain universe and hell even the game company them selves commissioned or just made the game them selves I know this is universal I think but still. Does it count thats the question for me personally yes. But some others not so much. Sometimes it will even break the game.
Love your videos!!
I hope we get answers to some of the biggest mysteries of the franchise soon.
More❤
Been waiting for a video drop💪🏿💪🏿
Kroft is back. Today is a good day.
Can't wait to see what Romulus can bring to the franchise!!!
Now we know there is another part of the xenomorph life cycle.
Kroft drops a video ....noice
You are one of the 2 channels i have the bell activated
It’s such a shame Covenant didnt go further into the Engineers lore. Prometheus was so intriguing I was really looking forward to it going deep into the Xenos origins
I love the background music in your videos. It’s mysterious, enigmatic, coming of age type yet somehow unleashes a keen sense of nostalgia in my mind. I would like to have it just to listen to it. Thank You.
Happy to see you back been watching u for 5 years now big fan
Alien:Romulus was amazing! Finally got to see what led to the events in Aliens. The bridging of the gap between Alien and Aliens. Fede Alvarez is a master horror director. He takes his time with storytelling. Love how it feels like it was made in the 80s too, making the technology much like the kind in Alien&(s). I love Prometheus I honestly do, but what threw me off was how advanced the tech was. Surpassing the kind of tech in the OG movies yet it’s supposed to take place before the OG movies. Alvarez paid close attention to that.
So excited to see it!!!
Tbh i have seen the movies lots of times and this recap of their life was very pleasant
Kroft explains so well that I fall asleep listening to him. 😊
Never jumped on so quick!!!
Great to see new content from you!
Hello guys kroft is here.
=favorite youtube opener for sure!
"It's made from people!"
Space Jockeys: "Well duh"
The crusher doesn't come from the Praetorian it's evolves from a Sentry which evolves from a Runner. A Crusher is to the Runner what the Praetorian is to the Drone.
Done > Warrior > Praetorian
Runner > Sentry > Crusher
The only things the Praetorian can evolve into other than the Queen are the Ravager, and Carrier from the expanded universe.
I love the audio (Atlantis, Audionautix)
We're happy you back my bro
PS. Love your theory content.👍
Mist is definitely a way to control moisture/environment
Fantastic as always.
Kroft is back !!!
This was a great video! Thank you for making this 😄
16:50 sonars and vibrations dont work in space
Love your vids. Reminds me of the old Mr.H videos about alien and hellraiser before he switched to more tabloid and antiwoke type content.
The King is the biggest Xenomorph , look it up in Comics, and it ya read AVP you know they didnt just use them for hunts for younglings . THEY CREATED THEM
Kroft thank you so much for your awesome videos x
Welcome back, Kroft!! 👏 ✌️ Your voice is like the Morgan Freeman voice for science fiction. My favorite is when you say " Engineers ".
I feel like all the creature from promethius are all one off creatures
Halloway effected with black goo then impregnates Shaw creating the trelabite
Trelabite then uses an engineer as a host
Then the Deacon is born
A xenomorph is birthed from a human being a host to the ovomorph
A Predalien is birthed from a predator being a host to the ovomorph
Lol....point being is the possibility of creatures is endless
What if an engineer got effected with the black gooooo
Then got his wife pregnant and gave birth to whatever
Then that thing used a predator for a host? What then?
Btw Kroft, you are loved
....I heard somewhere they were gonna introduce a King Alien........its has wings!
HES BACK BABAY
10:35. I always thought “face hugger” can infest a host. The host would manifest the “alien”.
Cuz the predator traveled back in time and brought the deacon to the engineers..the deacon can reproduce without mating
@@Puppy_Puppington that’s why i hate this engineer storyline. I mean what was the point really in finding “who creates who”.? It’s Like we guessing how a lion was created ? It just a creation from god. Let them just exist. Why the need to engineered them ? Plus they were in freaking SPACE !! Anything can exist
Bro this guy is my childhood 😂
In which year the Alien vs Predator is? Because the timeline would not match with this. Or is Alien vs Predator alternative timeline? Or Alien vs Predator is happening on difrent Earth in the same universe? Or is Alien vs Predator happening after Alien Saga in which humanidy started all over from the stone age?
AvP and AvPR are usually considered to be sort of its own thing. Where it doesn't conflict with anything else, I think people are reasonably content to accept that it's at least possibly the same universe. Where there is a conflict though, I think lots of people will take other sources over AvP or AvPR
It makes perfect sense cuz the predator are timetravlers.
Do ya'self a favor, read em!
well in the AVP strategy game it is shown the evolution to a queen goes
egg - Royal jelly egg - Royal facehugger - Praetorian - Queen so this might be actual canon progression
Kroft is a PhD in Allien
How about the alien that appears on the mural in Prometheus? It precedes all of them in this video. Doesn't it?
Thats a deacon.
@@corymckinnon9588 A deacon? Just like the one appearing from the engineer at the end of the film?
Yes but different. The one at the end of the film is made from the man-made black goo.
It's unknown how the first deacon was made, but they used its blood to give life to planets and create humans on earth. The opening scene of Prometheus.
@@OHHnoYOUdidntMAN That's what I mean. If the deacon on the mural precedes all other, the black goo in Prometheus is a result of something later than the deacon on the the mural.
He has a video on the deacon.
Hi Kroft.
The only games that are classed as canon are only, Isolation & Colonial Marines.
So you finally remembered your password of the account 😅
Fantastic ❤
Which movie is the scene from 9:43 from? I legit cannot remember
What I find funny is how Ridly Scott didn't like the idea of a Queen yet gets David to try and create one 😂
Great video! I thought a king xenomorph existed? Wasn't it introduced in one of the graphic hard back comics?
I need more information on the sedative chemicals the face huggers use, so we can develop a antidote
Great video Kroft! Love the vidssssss.. Aliens Fire Tram Elite hs some good variants too
fidk about "Royal Jelly", but from what i understand from the "Alien Vs Predator 2 (1999)" video game, any "Drone" Xenomorph can eventually become a Praetorian if it's old enough, there might be some level of "Unless there are too many Praetorians in the area already" latched onto that.
👽Kroft talks aka secureteam10 😊🎉
5:48 where is this scene from?
i wanna know too
Alien Resurrection (the 4th one), terrible movie
Didn't the chestburster from Alien 3 originate from a Rottweiler? Thus the slightly more quadrupedal form?
Kroft, perhaps a video about the upcoming Noah Hawley TV series (2025) next? Have you heard any details newer than the interview he already gave?
While we're on the subject of Hawley - if anyone missed 'Legion', I highly recommend giving it a go. And, having done that, it will be evident as to why I am looking forward to the TV series he has written.
I do love the winged clade of xenomorph from the predator books, although I don’t know if they have a specific name
The queen mother looks like the one from alien vs predator when the queen is awakened to make more eggs
1.25 speed
Wish it could be like 1.18x lol. Then it would sound perfect in cadence
21:16 Pretty sure that picture is only figurative. The queen mother in the origin comic didn't span an entire planet.
How about: the hosts not feeling a large object moving about in their lungs? The chestburster
Great point
But didn't the Engineers already create the Xenomporphs in the black goo form. I mean they must have already known what it would become when they developed it. Or maybe I'm wrong or looking too much into that🤷🏻♀️
We definitely need the Engineers origin story to understand 🤔
Well I do anyway.lol😂
Kroft, I think you’d like Scavengers Reign. It’s a fantastic animated show
In the aliens versus predator game, where you talk about 6
They called the Pretorions, echolons or something along those lines
This is the same guy that makes the Doom videos! Voice is EXACTLY the same!!!
"What came before the egg?"
Oh I know this one, it's the chicken.
Honestly, non of the prequels should be canon. Inless David is at the wheel of the first derelict, from the first movie. That's the only tie in.
Whenever kroft uploads, the world stops and I watch 🫡
Hala Madrid!!
@@CharlyDavis5594 🫡🤍💙🤍🖤
can u do a fallout vid?
11:50
Kill the host (like with a drug) and the facehugger leaves to search a new host. Kill/destroy the facehugger and reanimate the host.
Well done but we can only take in consideration Aliens from the movies
I like to think.. that the pathogen and the genetic manipulation is dynamic. From the original movie until present. It is possible there is way more we haven’t seen during screen time.
I like Aliens & Predators being linked in canon. It makes more sense that Predators created Aliens to test their young soldiers. The whole “perfect” creature thing makes no sense when all Aliens do are destroy and procreate.
Gonna have to reupload with the new chestburster cocoon stage now that ROMULUS is out
10:53….brb
...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can I ask where you are from? I'm just curious. When I hear an accent, I can't keep myself from guessing.
Idk why but the Romulus xenomorph reached adulthood in 6 minutes
face hugers lowkey freaky
Oriiented from the Engineers! Though the years are weird, but they are Allways!
How did the eggs get on the escape craft in Alien 2? Is it possible a xenomorph was hiding there and devolved back into an egg to impregnate the sleeping Rippley, Newt, and that space marine?
I feel the queen still had some eggs attached to it when it jumped on there that's my guess anyways
This is my headcanon about the life cycle and purpose of the xenomorphs:
I theorize that both Engineers and Space Jockeys exist (LV-426 pilot is not an Engineer).
I like this a lot, but I would include David making replicants of xenos - only to be killed by a real one himself
@@Abstrakt_Animations ooo, I like that! Like that scene where he’s trying to talk to one; that one would be the replicant he created-a replicant creating a replicant. But as he’s trying to communicate with it, the real one you mentioned comes up from behind him and tears him in half Bishop-style. Or something like that lol
@@mynameisjonboy Tearing him in half Bishop style would be Ridley’s best move since the first film
@@Abstrakt_Animations sadly, I have to agree with you
I always assumed they were chemisynthetic and subsisted primarily on carbon from the air and found silica
Alright guys I got you. Egg/ ovimorph, facehugger, chest buster, xenomorph drone, praetorian, queen, matriarch, and queen mother. There’s the full life cycle my friends
I know it was mentioned somewhere else ….but couldn’t the engineers have communicated without speech and thereby extending their life span ….just a thought
Content is A+ but man that inflection is distracting
Whoot whoot
I don´t agree with a couple of things here...
...People don´t morph to eggs in the walls - they were placed there for the facehuggers to easily impregnate them...
...David neither created the aliens, nor did he create the queen...
