At first I was like oh maybe I'll save this video for later, but then I saw "Terrible" and was like Nope need to watch this now.
My thought process was exactly the same: “terrible” means we’re in for a special treat! 😂

I looked up grouls. It's not misspelled. It's described as some kind of entity. They're hairless, pale, have no visible nose, walk around on a fours(although they can stand up), have sharp teeth and claws, and are supposed to be about 2 to 3 times as tall as an average person when standing up. They hunt and attack in packs, are aggressive to humans, and will kill on the spot. Oddly, they can't swim.
🤔 so now I wonder if that was meant to be a baby groul...
Thanks for the tip! Next time I run into one of those packs, I'll be sure to make a mad dash to the nearest watering hole, which is about a 2-hour drive from here.😁

I know! It's like some assets are classic (over-used) and some assets are geared for beginners (over-used in terrible indie horror games). 😁 On the other hand, what with all the poor lighting, it's always nice to find oneself in familiar surroundings so we can maybe avoid groping something shudder-inducing.
When an indie horror game is _so_ terrible that you'd rather "enter the flickering void" than keep playing.😂

YES! I listen to your terrible indie horror games that I put in a playlist most nights because I suffer from PTSD night terrors, and your voice helps keep them away! So I finally have another to add! Btw, ty for helping me sleep safely at night. The only other person who can do that for me is John Wolfe. He also has a terrible game playlist for sleep saved on my tablet😅
I listen to his videos to nap. He doesn't scream or shout in them and I usually need sound to sleep in the afternoon. I definitely understand what you mean.
@jayhammond9122 I'm 40, a RN, and I have a Doctor's diagnosis. I paid for a thank you message bc he actually helps me sleep bc I have severe PTSD night terrors. Want more proof look up Topiramate see what it is used for off label at about 100 mg. I highly doubt some poser would know about this medication or what it does bc it's off label usage so insurance doesn't cover it and only a pysch doc that treats PTSD would know to use it and at what dosage.

Wasn’t that big scary baby model used in another game as well? A game about collecting golden tickets in a circus or amusement park I think. If not the same it looks really similar

I think the noises were supposed to put us on edge. I just found it annoying.
In fact, I think that's why the jump scares didn't work. You need silence, then the loud noise, etc.. If you are already annoyed it's hard to relax so you can get scared.
(I would work on making the "baby" a little more intimidating, too)
What on earth is the absolute fascination from indie horror developers with mannequins??? I swear at least 95% of all indie horrors feature this rubbish, give it a rest guys for the love of God lol. From now on I declare any game featuring mannequins will be automatically labelled "terrible indie horror game" lol.

That was a terribly funny game. The scissors room and listing items wrong were highlights. Random big baby just wanted a bath and a nap though poor thing.

Nope, not just you. I think the critter was drawn some time ago by somebody who, like many of us, was Cabbaged to death then along came the purple dinosaur and it was his only way to maintain sanity. 🎶I love you, you love me, we're a happy famileee...🎶🤮

The game is so bad that the manikins were drinking HEAVILY. I mean they kept passing out drunk & falling from the ceiling. At least the creepy baby was a good design.

I read GHOULS in the thumbnail. Maybe because I just started Fallout on Prime. Groul is a great name as long as it was intentionally misspelled to look like ghoul and not a bad spelling of gruel.

As soon as I saw yet another game with the same reused assets I kinda knew where it was going. Some of these “indi” games may not actually be “indi” but rather larger developers just looking to make a quick buck! It a shame because the market has become over saturated with games like these
