    Overcome insulin resistance. Muscle build, avoid stress, inflammation, lack sleep.
    To treat…eat protein first, walk after meals, use Berberine and creatine, low carb meals

    Your channel is such a revelation to me! Thank you for sharing all these amazing advices in such a structured, straight forward and engaging way!
    About the myths, I can tell I wasted a year in my weight loss journey because of Myth #8. I was so convinced I should not do any resistance / instensive training untill I lose X kg. And when I finally started the excercise I gained more than I planned (got back half way tbh) because my body was at shock first and all I could think about was food lol and my 1.5 years of peacefull lowcarb approach went to dumster. I only managed to keep it all at balance few months ago and I'm sure if I started training from the beginning results would be way better)

    Walking pads/treadmills are so good! I bought one recently, and it’s really helped to get me through my weight loss plateau, and increased my energy and motivation. I’m going to incorporate dumbbells, but habit building one at a time.

    I’m 40 and I only started losing weight when I reintroduced meat into my diet. I’m taking it slowly, but down 9 pounds this year, and about 15 to go🤞🏻
    One of my family members doesn’t eat meat, fish, or fats, so she’s volume eating fruit (mostly in smoothies and juices🙄) and veg to try to feel full.

    Ty JJ for the precious content! Regarding the hiit training, i wonder if the quick low impact version of it has the same benefits? I am asking it because I can t jump too much due to foot and knee issues..however i am in the best shape of life at 55, had dropped excess weight throu IF and cutting off sweets or refined carbs. Your channel is very informative and educational. Hugs from Italy!

    Hi JJ! I’m new to your channel. Your information is so helpful and solid! Question for you. I do not go to a gym; however I have resistance bands, weights, kettle balls, rope and trampoline. Can I still get the same results by using these items at home? Do you have a video on home workouts? I’m having trouble figuring out a routine.
    Thank you so much!❤

    Hi JJ! Question: On the weekends I try to restrict to two meals/day. (It’s my rest day and steady state cardio day), but it’s SO hard fitting my protein (115g) into just two meals. Do you recommend prioritizing a calorie-deficit and slightly under-protein intake, or 3 meals at calorie maintenance hitting the protein goal if the goal is a body recomp? Thank you!

    Some Great Info. Thanks JJ.
    Dr Fuhrman (Eat to Live, Nutritarian diet) in his web article ‘How Plant Protein Wins Over Animal Protein’
    says “as long you are eating a variety of plant foods, you will get adequate amounts-but not too much-of all the essential amino acids”
    So you don’t NEED to eat meat.
    Dr Fuhrman and Dr Gregor are great resources to really understand a plant based diet.

    Some good information, here, for sure. However, if anyone wants to educate themselves on intermittent fasting, I highly recommend reading, Dr. Jason Fung’s books and watching his videos. The man has brilliant on the subject.

    Oh my. Please be more plant food - vegan friendly. There are several reasons why people choose vegan lifestyle. We know there are super healthy, long living, muscle building vegans in the world. Love your advice and mission for healthier lifestyles. When I hear your bias come thru against non meat eating diets, it stops me from hearing the rest of your great messages & advice.

      @Alykat736 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      She’s totally missing it -ppl need more “amino acids”, not another’s muscle/flesh.
      Amino acids are what the body uses to builds its own protein !!
      That highest in greens!

    • @GG-rw8cz
      @GG-rw8cz ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Alykat736 The body does not absorb amino acids from plants nowhere near as well as it does from animal protein. That's just a fact. It's not her fault if you don't like scientifically proven facts.

    • @GG-rw8cz
      @GG-rw8cz ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you're also more likely to end up with Alzheimer's on a vegetarian diet, since your body needs amino acids from animal protein to build brain cells and reduce amyloid in the brain.

    • @Alykat736
      @Alykat736 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GG-rw8cz I know you mean well. We’re just going to have to agree to disagree here . There’s so so much evidence (anatomy & more) the human bodies diet is fruits based and leafy greens . Sure another’s flesh can suffice in desperate times . But that’s not our bodies natural diet nor “needs” nor are we attracted to eating animals outside of the way we’ve been raised to after it’s unrecognizable as the animal and cooked with seasonings ect .
      Again, we are just going to have to agree to disagree . I have no interest in food debates.
