    Hi JJ,
    First let me say that you are an amazing woman! It’s beautiful how you’ve managed under such severe and painful circumstances! A great model for so many. An extraordinary woman and mother!!
    All that said, I ordered your All-in-one powder from Amazon. The container came with a warning sign from California regarding dangerous chemicals. I know this is your product and I feel that only healthy ingredients would be used to create it. Would you provide some clarification for me. I don’t want to return it without hearing from you.
    Thank you so much! 🙏🏻

    I understand this immensely. I am a retired National Bodybuilder from years past. Today I work in Canine Nutrition. I guess I passed my nutritional knowledge to the dogs as well. I eat clean and my dogs eat raw no processed kibble. Grass fed, salmon, all organic. Nice video.

    I am a long time listener to this podcast and I always feel so motivated after listening to JJ. Her information is so up to date and relevant. I did have a couple of questions about nurturing a healthy gut biome. I was wondering about kombucha or water kefir. I was making my own water kefir for a while but then worried that maybe it still had sugar. The kombuchas on the market say they had sugar but that the scoby eats all the sugars. How can I add this to my diet and still be sure I’m not adding a bunch of sugar also. And when is the right time to drink for the best gut health?

      Don’t think you’re going to start with everything. She does throw a lot of information at you. Start with the timing. Eat your breakfast at least one hour after you wake up and then every three to four hours throughout the day. Drink more water especially when you feel a hunger pang. You don’t have to worry about the details of your food right off the bat. For me not eating between meals has been a little challenge but doable. I guess I never realized how much of a snacker I am. Giving up the junk food will make a big difference right off the bat. Make your food changes gradually. And don’t beat yourself up. Good luck

    How much is a serving of fat ex. MCT oil for a woman who’s 5’2 and 118 lbs? The meal you described seems like it would be very high in fat. In the past when I’ve done a higher fat low carb diet I found I couldn’t eat as much and put on body fat. Do you have any recommendations for salad dressings that aren’t oil based?

    I am still confused about my protein requirement per day. I weigh 64 kilos but according to my height and small frame my ideal weight should be 53 kilos and I would like to eat 1 gram of protein per kilogram. So is it going to be 64 grams of protein or 53 grams of protein per day for me? Can someone please help me solve this query?

    • @kstroh9247
      @kstroh9247 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      From what I’ve heard from her videos is you do your grams per ideal body weight, but she talks about pounds not kilos. 53 kg is 116.85 lbs, so it looks like you want 81 to 116 grams of protein, the low number is .7 times 116. The higher number is if you are doing a lot of exercising. Hope this helps.

      You can purchase a food scale that gives you a choice of using grams for about $15. I think you would like & prefer after a few uses.

      Grams are much smaller than ounces and so can be more accurate. A kitchen scale with grams and ounces will be very useful to you!

    I love your videos but quite often you’ll make statements assuming that the average Joe understands without explaining it. What is “grass FINISHED”! 🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @jjvirginvideos
      @jjvirginvideos  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there! "Grass finished" means that the animal, usually beef cattle, was fed grass for its entire life, including the last part before slaughter. This is different from "grass-fed," where animals may start on grass but are often finished on grains to fatten them up quickly before processing. Grass-finished meat tends to be leaner and might have more omega-3 fatty acids due to the all-grass diet. Hope this helps! -Team JJ
